Got this watch delivered last month and I cant believe how good it looks - a bit steampunk but thats not a bad thing in my opinion. The cameras dont do the dial justice, you really need to see this irl to see how nice it is. There is a lot of watch for the price here, one off my favorites. A watch I find myself staring at as much as any I own, was undecided between the red and orange, glad I went red in the end. Good review as always.

Just doing a bit of research before the sale I had to go back in time to see if I was missing any gems do to the notifications mix up and I'm glad I did this is definitely worth a closer look Thanks my friend 👍
I have the orange dial version and it looks fantastic in hand. Much better than pictures. I'm so pleased that I'm tempted to add the white dial! Lume lasts longer then my Seiko's. I'm impressed with Phoibos as I have the excellent Proteus with aged steel & carbon dial. Long live the octopus!
Great looking watch! Dial is fantastic and the colors blend well. I'm going to have to get me a Phoibos. They look so well built. Its a hulky watch and I like that. Nice finishing to boot. Great review! Cheers!
I got the orange one for myself , like every design aspect of it, except the hour hand being thick and longer than it should be , overlapping with the indices, and one more is the disparity in the width of the markers at 6,9 against the 2 markers used at 12

Really not a fan of this watch. There are too many random designs elements, different knurling on the bezel and the crowns, roman numerals on the railroad minutes track, the hour hand is too big, the hand set itself is rather ugly in my opinion, the indices at the 6 and the 9 are too small, hence not really to scale with the hands, the only thing I like is the bracelet and the way it's integrated.
I agree there is a bit of an odd mixture of design elements going on, but I personally think they come together quite well. I'd prefer not to have the Roman numerals, but most of the time you don't really notice them too much anyway. I like that they try different things though. You can never accuse Phoibos watches of being boring at least.

I'm with you on the thin indices are 6 and 9. They would have joined better if they were a bit thicker.
Love Phoibos...strongest branding of any microbrand....superb quality and unusual designs. Good value.
