It's great to literally watch you fall in love with it, thanks for bringing us along for the ride!!! I have both the Typhon 6 and the TTLR. The Ty6 i have geared at 27/46 on GRPs and it just rips 0-80-0 in about 500ft, while the TTLR is for the track and run on 4s and it is just a fantastic track buggy. They are most definitely the Beauty (TTLR) and the beast (T6) of my collection and the most versatile Arrma vehicle hands down!
That garbage can popped out faster than the boulder at diamond dust😂😂😂. That typhon is a snappy little buggy! Definitely has potential but looks sweet out of the box!!

I love my typhon it’s like butter and it’s almost like a hover craft , that’s why a lot of people use this model vehicle for speed passes. Like over 100 mph, projects. Even the 3s one is fast af😉👍🏼💯

That's the typhon's special purpose in my book, it's really too low to be a good basher kind of like the Kraton, they Excell on groomed tracks or pavement. Hmmm this is another place the Vorteks is supposed to shine.. You might have to pull it out and run it there as well. It's my only regret buy this year. Not because it's bad, but because I really don't have a good place to run it. I thought I could use it as a basher but it's really like the Kraton and typhon. Low to the ground and better on groomed or paved surfaces instead of bashing places. I would probably have a blast with it if I can find a place to run it. Maybe you should get yours out and give it another shot there at your new speed spot! Great video as always brother! 💯🤜🤛🔥🔥⚡⚡🙏
6s Typhon is my all time favorite jumper. I've gone long and high with it but I like the 3s Typhon with 4s BLX ESC and MAX 10 HW motor on road better than my 6s. I got the 6s Kitar wheels on my 3s Typhon and once they become slicks they kill. I also got DHK Maximus shocks that don't fit right so The rear are pretty stiff and front shocks loose to keep it level but once it takes off the rear stay stiff and front lifts up just enough to keep it level. Definitely hit 70mph with that set up and LOVE IT! I've thought of throwing on 4s Kraton arms and wider hubs to truggify it or sort of turn it into a mini Talion. The Talion I have as well and it'll blow you away at that spot.
Typhon 6s and the mini maxx . Two of the best rc’s out there. Throw on the bigger pinion they give you in the box for the typhon set of d-boot hoons and let her rip best all around basher an street basher or keep stockers on it just oil up them hub bearings and add fan for motor and car is sick

The Typhon is like the Subaru of the r/c world. Has the high speed stability coupled with the ability to soak up bumps that regular on road only cars can not! Awesome video 👍

I guessed 58mph too so was impressed with 61mph. I haven't seen your video where you weren't impressed with the Typhon 6s but I have to say it's one of my personal favourites (yes I spell it that way as I'm from the UK). The 1/8 buggies are awesome handling cars in general so I bought the Typhon 3s & 6s, also the Corally Radix 4 & Radix 6. They're some great handling cars over jumps at a BMX track and for throwing around on road. Great video again Guy.

I guess a RC is a toy to some people and most people play with them like a toy What I mean by that is it depends on how ya are using it I raced competitively for about 4yrs and I among most others took it very seriously far as setting our truck's up getting in practice etc etc and have fun while doing it Yeah it pissed me off when someone would say it's just a toy 😡 😁 Now some people can go overboard and take it to damn serious 😁 I always say long as it puts a smile on your face That's the most important part to for me 👍 I'm loving the Typhon myself I've never owned one but from the many vids I've watched it seems pretty damn bad arse Handles well good stability fast jumps well 🔥👍 I like it

Guy you should do a GT conversion with this now that you have a new love...'hobao vs2". Typhon gt can be done with the Mugen gt front foam bumper kit. And then limitless shocks and towers. Then any Slash body fits perfectly I did mine with the proline C10 body. Runs 107mph on 6s
The Typhon has a shorter wheel base, so when it jumps the whole car jumps at one time front and back.

The Typhon is a beast it's super stable handles amazing flies great absolutely amazing put some thicker shock fluid in it and you can do some crazy jumps and it's tough it's one of my favorite cars the only thing I have problems with is the center diff case bushing on the front center drive shaft brakes free from the diff case itself I think it's cuz the drive shaft is at such an angle I'm going to put a Vitavon diff cup in it to hopefully stop that for now I just super glued it and locked the center diff
I feel the Typon should be an on road rc not a basher and the TLR version a track or on road rc 👍👍

The ‚easy‘ flying comes from the less unsprung mass I‘d guess 🤔 and long travel suspension. I think the traxxas udr, losi sbr and of course the dbxle should also handle great on that spot 😉

Not much into that unit when looking at it. But man that thing sure looks fun on a nice paved roadway. Could have alot of fun making it really fast I bet. But for the most part for myself I definitely like off road bashing.

That typhoon can handle way higher gearing though, especially In this weather, it should have the power to weight to match the kaiju if it’s geared up.
I love my typhon had it for almost 2 years now never broken anything on it well I did the wing. I have a 17t pinion in my and get 64 out the typhon.

Typhon one the best do it all rc’s. Drop in that optional pinion and its rated 70 on 6s.

The Typhon is a great cat to jump it fly's like a bird, but it is not a stunt car flips and rough terrain are not good its friend. I took a kraton chassis and put it on the typhon so it will be even better on the street now 93mph with the speed gear that comes in the box

Hi Guy, you really kill me at times, why do you get so fixated on a particular RC lol, love watching but? yes there's a but, you do seam to stay on one subject for a bit to long, that's where I drop of from watching you and from time to time take a look to see if your still alive and have moved on to something els, Yes a new subject lol, I find you very entertaining. I have just moved from London England to Berlin in Germany. the RC scene is so much better in Germany with lots of tracks and bashing locations, just got back from a run with my Corally / Arrma Hybrid, Corally Radix 6 /Mojave 6s, the main chassis from the Corally and the arms hubs, drive shafts from the Mojave 6s, the front was an easy put together and the rear needed some more work than just a swap over of parts, also using Arrma Outcast 6s shocks, so it sits a lot higher than a truggy, it's a beast, I'm not the first to do it. over the spring will be testing to see how much it can take. Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family .

I think this is my favorite rc , just so many aspects it can be tuned for and does better than everything else while being the most durable, while the maxx maybe one rc more durable it will lose in every other comparison
Ahh we went from regret to lots of smiles , I shouldve used a rear skid when I bought now too late and stock chassis litterly under 10 bucks but being my favorite i probably splurge for m2 chassis. Rpm front bumper rpm wing mounts kind of a must and the kraton outcast hubs and axles and you have the best driving/ racing basher made , no traxxas or redcat can come close
