  • A story of the mysterious murder of a member of parliament for Siaya. The MP was killed and his body dumped in a maize plantation. Dennis Onsarigo revisits the story and speaks for the first time to two men who were tried and jailed for the MP’s killing. Did they do it or were they the fall guys in a well-crafted murder?

So sad.......Government should apologize and compensate these fellows, my verdict is that they are victims of circumstances, being at the wrong place at the wrong time.....@Onsarigo, you didn't tell us about their families.

am sure you are asking whether they are functional after the torture. Would one be after what they have just said that happened to them?

I am saddened by this story..no wonder Askari wengi wanakufanga kaa maumbwa....many innocent people are judged unfairly because of shoddy Investigations.

Tiz painful but what relieves that pain is" Mimi nilikuwa mwizi na kazi ya mwizi ni kutafuta" the question is unatafuta wapi kwa nyumba za watu.?

I think that's why Kenyans prefer bribing the law enforcement agencies even when they're innocent, coz getting the approval for the innocence comes with it's cost.Imagine a situation where you're asked to "help with investigations"that's mostly the end of your freedom if you can't hire a good lawyer you'll end up rotting in Police cells.

Justice in Kenya. That 3 judge bench of "eminent Judges" still upheld the High Court's death sentence. Students of law still marvel at the decision. The 3 are a laughing stock right from 1st year law. That one rose to become Chief Justice is baffling. Would he have passed vetting? How do some people maintain a semblance of normal family life knowing they messed up others' lives?
