Fixing the JZX with Amazon Parts

Thanks to a week long holiday in Japan my only option for car parts to fix the JZX was the jungle site known as Amazon. Time to donate to Bezo's rocket fund and see if parts available on the site are good enough to fix the JZX's drivability issues.

Does the JZX110 have a procedure to get the ECU to relearn after changing a sensor? I think older models you just unplugged the ECU fuse for a minute, new models you do some power on off key dance or tell it to over ODBII?

The 1jz vvti is really sensitive to maf position. Mine looked like yours with the sensor straight after the filter, and it had stutters and flat spots, etc. If you look at the HKS kit designed for this application, there is a 1" spacer between the maf adapter and the filter, which fixed my issues straight away.

I know its a faff but couldve dropped the diff down out the way and put a big socket on the back of the subframe and pulled the big diff bush through with a long bolt to seat the last 10mm
