wow. I've Been following this guy for 25 years. I am never ever ever disappointed. I love his commitment to his trade. I was trying to think of a compliment to send to him. ( even though he may never see it) JP Cormier is our own Roy Clarke, from the States, ( but, in my humble opinion ,,better,, ,all 'round) from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia ! ! ! and that is a mouth full.
Wonderful Artist. Brings back fond musical memories while living in Cape Breton, perhaps the most friendly place in Canada and certainly a mast head for great music and musicians.
I think jp is the go to source for much needed knowledge and understanding of nuances in acoustic guitar. Nothing is so rewarding to have been one of those who have found and is fulfilling their destiny . J p is one of the very lucky few.
I cannot get enough of this video. I’ve watched it at least 15 times in the past 3 days. It’s just awesome. I love Furch Guitars and this dreadnought is a mighty beast that sounds absolutely stunning. Thanks for playing for us JP!
JP Cormier = one of the best guitarists of all time. Also I have a Furch Vintage 3 Dreadnaught. Fit, finish, and tone is second to none. Go get you a Furch!
Can't believe JP got all the way through this Furch demo without recommending a Boucher! I'm going to watch again at 1/2 speed. I bet I just missed it.
Oh MY GOODNESS! What amazing skills! That first song was amazing! The guitar is clearly resonant and its sustain and the way the notes linger is rewarding. Dare I say the guitar sounds a bit bright to me. It is great, but will be more amazing once it has mellowed. The playing and performance are so inspiring! Wow.
It was like hearing a session in o Conners pub in Doolin on the West Coast of clare, Ireland. except its one guy with one guitar making the huge sound, makes me sick how easy you make it look, fantastic guitar but I think you could make a broomstick with a piece of string sound good.
Hi John, fantastic player. What do you think of Furch guitars. I'm personally a big fan. I subscribed to your channel and enjoy the reviews you do. Must admit I do fancy a top end yamaha. Best wishes
Wow, this is a great sounding, but über articulate guitar. Seems like the modern world is moving on from the darker Martin & Gibson sound - many of today's successful high-end shops are putting out guitars with this kind of high-mid and top end cut.

Never heard of a Furch but this is a phenomenal sound played by a master guitarist

Can't believe JP got all the way through this Furch demo without recommending a Boucher! I'm going to watch again at 1/2 speed. I bet I just missed it.

I've only discovered J P recently. He's an awesome musician this is the best guitar demo I've ever seen.
Fantastic player, that furch guitar sounds really awesome
Sorry I missed a chance to hear him play last week whilst he was in Edinburgh on honeymoon apparently. Unbelievable skill.
I just bought one of these monsters today used it is the best guitar I have ever played im pretty sure
I understand exactly why he had to buy. :-) Made the same experience. It is always danger to enter a guitar shop. Great guitar. I am glad I bought it.
The man can play! Great sounding guitar too
I love JP. And that guitar's tone is INSANE
EASILY my favourite flat picker in the world.
In just under 5 minutes I went from a guitar player to a guitar owner.....wow!
Great guitar. The best guitar player. Beautiful guitar song.Congratulations.
And the guitar sounds great as well !!
Although I bought a Furch/Stonebridge 22-CM (I prefer the mellower mahogany sound), this quitar is a killer.
Well done JP! Well done! Wish I could play like that. I have the Stonebridge (G23LR), but can't play it like that! Great guitars.

Totally Awesome guitar playing.
Anyone know what the second song he goes into is? the one after Shenandoah..
Got it. 'Chorus Jig, Q Jig' for anyone else interested ..
Go JP!
This guy's right hand technique freaks me out.
Yeah, it’s those little 8th or 16ths or whatever he squeezes in there like crazy...lol
Suona discretamente questa chitarra vero?

Ciao! Pensi che sia a livello di una Martin D35? Pensi che sia di eguale valore e suono?
