I'd never heard of JP Cormier, and then discovered him on these Stonebridge demos. Fantastic player, both fingerstyle and flat picking. And then he plays mandolin and fiddle, too!
I live in his home province, always knew his name from the local music scene, but never actually saw him perform...it was at Celtic Colours 2018 that I discovered his amazing talent...
And don't forget the banjo. He plays banjo very well too.
I like the syncopation of this piece.... you don't hear much of that. Beautiful guitar and playing. Your flow is effortless; just perfect. Thank you.
Absolutely stunning !
It's just J.P. being J.P. 'Nuff said. Well done my friend!! Irwin Pa. loves ya! 👍👍🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Amazing stuff, JP. Almost sounds like a piano. Well done.
Cool playing. Love the querky syncopation.
Now that's a guitar that would suit me in every respect. Love a 12 fret and small body and this proves you don't need to make something the size of a door to project the sound. Sweet playing JP. I have a good friend in the state of Maine with the same name that bears a resemblance. His family background is also from NS, NB. Maybe a relative?
i live in europe. is it possible to get this guitar anywhere? i really want this one. adiriondack plus the slotted headstock and the beautiful tone makes it for me. or if i can order it online somewhere?
Peter, you can order this guitar from a Furch dealer in Europe. Furch.cz
