The second clip when the Witcher knocks the soldier back with a wave of his hand, he is using one of five "Signs" (a kind of limited low level magic). The one he uses is Aard, which is like a force beam which can knock a target back or break down a door. The other four Signs are Igni, a limited fire spell, Yrden, a spell which lays down a circle of icons on the ground around the Witcher and limits the abilities of any enemy in the circle, Axii, which is a short term mind control spell that can induce an enemy to do your will or just daze him, and Quen, which is a protective force field. (If you remember the prior clip in the barn against the vampire, there is a moment where a golden sphere appears around the Witcher...that is Quen in action.)

Witcher 3 is a beautiful game with breathtaking scenery, brilliant combat and really interesting story line that you'll want to complete. Whitcher 3 Wild Hunt followed by the 2 DLC's Witcher 3 Heart of Stone and Witcher 3 Blood and Wine. It is a must play game that requires patience and Strategy. plus its a open world RPG. what else can you ask for.
Not sure if it has been mentioned, but the First cinematic you watched was the cinematic that came out the day Witcher 3 was launched and it was a teaser for the 2nd expansion, and the 2nd one that was watched was the Reveal cinematic for Witcher 3
The potion he took before entering the barn was probably a Witcher potion known as Black Blood. It essentially alters the Witcher's blood to make it toxic to vampires...a vamp who drinks blood from a Witcher who has taken BB will take damage. The glass globe which he threw up in the barn was a Moon Dust "bomb" which contains slivers of silver which make it impossible for the vamp to go completely invisible and limits their abilities.

Witcher 3 has been the best Single player RPG i've ever played. Hands down. Probably my favorite game of all time up until this point. Anyone who hasn't played that game yet, you need to. I could write a small novella about how good the Witcher 3 is.
Playing Witcher III made me stop playing Blizzard games so much because it made me realize there where probably other treasures I was missing out on. Witcher III spoiled me a little though. I am pretty sure it has the best DLC of any game that has ever been made.
So wait... I've seen this video and another where he's just baffled that things like The Witcher and Dark Souls exist. Does this guy play nothing but WoW? What the fucking fuck, how is that actually possible? I can't comprehend the thought of playing only one game as a source of gaming entertainment. Sure there are games I've put tons of time into, but I would be so god damn bored if I chose to play one specific title, forever.
The content of Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt and the two DLC's (Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine) is vast and you can sink hundreds of hours into the full game. If you ignore the side quests (some of which are complex enough to merit a game of their own) you can burn through the game relatively quickly, but you will miss tons of incredibly fascinating writing. Almost every action you take will have consequences the deeper you get into the game. Plus, CDPR has produced a free DLC known as "New Game +" which allows you to start the game over while retaining all the experience and most of the equipment that you earned in the first play through, allows you to rise to level 100 instead of the level 50 you could attain in the basic game and lets you go back and take on any content you may have missed or skipped in the first playthrough. I went through the basic game once, then started over from scratch and invoked the New Game +....spent 842 hours because I'm pretty much a "completionist."
It's hilarious how these MMO players are talking about Witcher 3 being slow and boring, only to go on and grind 50 hours for a new mount the same week.
They can't find enjoyment in art within themselves. It's all about interaction with online "friends". It's even worse now with the fortnite generation, they will literally eat shit if it's with someone else online they will never have a real life interaction with.
It's a shame streamers never commit to single player games more often. Sure Asmon would not have as many viewers as he would get when playing wow, but he wouldn't lose anything by playing arguably the best single player game ever made. A shame these people who find the witches 3 unappealing story wise. I do respect others' opinions, but when it comes to witcher 3, it's make or break if they like the game or not tbh. It just shows a persons values, honestly.

Suggest playing it. This series is even older than Game of Thrones and is based on a very famous novel series in Poland. In fact Geralt of Rivia is almost as much of a folk hero to the Polish as Robin Hood is to England. Just like some previous games from other studios like Fable, this is a massive game (even without the expansion packs) where your choices and actions do affect the outcome. There are a number out outcomes you can have, some which are happy and of course some which are not so fortunate. A lot of the adventures you have in the game are BASED on tales in the books and Grimm/Slavic folklore. There is a lot more to the gameplay than just mindlessly running everything through with a sword. You do have to do a bit of detective/ strategy work in finding and collecting items and saving characters..also the choices are not always that easy to make. The graphics and the monsters/ bandits and such will keep you exploring. Overall this game has set a new benchmark in open world gaming and the A.I is pretty good too.

the thing is. witchers are mutants. can drink insanely strong potions which are poison to normal humans. witchers have superhuman reflexes, senses and cat eyes. but they are not stronger than humans and they are trained to kill monsters. the drug he drank before fighthing the vampire woman was a blood poison specially made aganist vampires since a vampire during the night is almost impossible to kill and certain suicide even for witchers. when the vampire sucks their blood they get weakened and become killable. also important detail, witchers can have trouble fighting actual trained human soldiers since all their fighting styles are specifically created to kill monsters with extreme maneuvers, jumps and spins. a well armored, well trained human soldier can in fact pose a threat to witchers. and witchers work for bounties. Geralt (the main character of the withcer series) is a very old one. 90+ years old.

Albatross You actually never see this confrontation in-game. The cinematic takes place after the events of blood and wine, where Geralt goes back to Toussaint to kill Orianna. She never dies in the game, no matter your decisions.
As a colossal Witcher fan, seeing Asmongold genuinely enjoy these trailers makes me happy.
The killing mosnters line is the most badass line ever.
Played WoW for 12 years, no other games (bits of Starcraft and Warcraft) and when I stopped I was just like this guy, completely ignorant to all the other good games out there. Now i've caught up. Played Witcher 2 and 3 (Witcher 1 gameplay sucks to much, I wouldve played it otherwise), Played all 3 Mass Effect, even went as far as to play Andromeda. Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4. The last 3 Tomb Raiders. Shadow of Mordor, Shadow of War. Assassins Creed Origins. Doom. and probably a bunch of other good games im forgetting. Anyway, all that just to say I felt ashamed and ignorant after I played WoW cause I missed sooooo many good games. WoW eats up time like a Sumo eats food at the peak of his career. BTW Witcher 3 is my favorite out of all the ones mentioned above.
Witcher 1 sucks? What? It is better than the second part. Old graphics dont make game shit
@@softan Disagree with you on that one chief, I couldn't finish the first Witcher because I hated the gameplay so much. Story was fine, but I just couldn't deal with that clunky combat system. 2 was improved in nearly every way possible
@@SpellbreakWiki
Yeah, I heard good things. It's definitely on my ''to play'' list. Gotta finish my PS4 Spider-man game first tho
This is the game of a generation. Hands down, bar none, no competition. It has defined what open world RPGs will be for decades to come.
Did he just say is he a worgen
I laugh too xD
witcher = Greymane
vampire lady = Sylvanas
*watches a streamer who plays wow* 'game is boring' jesus christ.
it triggered me so much
You bet its damn good.
All 3 games are awesome
Denis Vezijak well.. the first one is meh.
@@michael6079 Honestly, the first one is better than the second one, story-wise and gameplay wise. Pluus the atmosphere was amazing in that game haha. but to each their own
I personally wasn't having as much fun with witcher 2 because even though it was set in an open world map, you only had a couple of paths you could take to your destination. I remember there being a single piece of log in my way that you could easily walk over irl without any effort but in w2 it was a completely impenetrable barrier, and that's the case with pretty much all other tiny obstacles in the game.
Left Thumb First one is better than the sequel gameplay and story-wise? Just no.
@@whennever8202 Story was better for sure imo. Geralt's start of the story was pretty fun and. Gameplay wise, I loved the 2-sword mechanic which (I think) was forgotten in other two, well, less focused on I think. Locations and maps were great full of atmosphere Buuut it's my opinion, and my memories of the game.
Witcher 3, is a free course on how make a game and a perfect story and fkin beautiful music and sound tracks .. 😁😁😁😁😇😇😇
950 hours on this game, still don't get bored of it, and enjoy watching other people play them, truly piece of art, if you haven't picked it up yet by 2018, do yourself a favor, and play through it. it starts a bit slow, but it's definitely worth the time and play
Definitely not a boring game. Hours and hours of content, and your decisions affect the future. Ive played through it like 4 times and ive discovered new things and played differently every time.
Whomever says this game is boring has never played it... I've put 65+ hours into it and im still craving to play it.
Best game i ever played
I didn't get goosebumps from watching this, I turned into a goose.
"Blizzard cinematics are the best".
CD Projekt Red, "Hold my silver sword".
Not sure if it has been mentioned, but the First cinematic you watched was the cinematic that came out the day Witcher 3 was launched and it was a teaser for the 2nd expansion, and the 2nd one that was watched was the Reveal cinematic for Witcher 3
This is not his channel, he won't watch this video as it is recorded from his stream
The witcher 3 is the best video game I've ever played hands down. How can some people call it boring?
Asmongold if you are reading this do a gameplay of witcher 3 dlc included that would be dope
most streamers can't finish witcher 3 cause it's long as fuck.
dimkacracker even Forsen finished it
@@mortolify real? dlc as well?
dimkacracker yup, vod is on TH-cam aswell.
dimkacracker yeah man its a long game but very very enjoyable i think Asmon would have a blast playing it maybe not on highest difficulty
The Game been installed on my computer since its release and IT'S STAYING THERE!
Dude, play the damn game xDD Its like the best game ever
Witcher 3 is easily my favorite RPG.
that was a fantastic quest night to remember they all were but there were two that really stuck out as genius for me the iris quest line was so hauntingly beautiful and so well thought out it was touching i took the rose of iris she was so beautiful and i released her then the knights errant quest with Guillame and his bird lady i chose not to use him as she did not love him so a day later playing the game i saw him very drunk in the town it was the detail in the game that made it the best single player of all time and the benchmark for other rpgs , there are developers and then cdpr for me they are streets ahead the man city of developers.
"I will come for you one day, you know that. Right?"
the most badass thing in this was geralt hesitating pulling out his silver sword..
agreed. he saw them as no different than the other monsters.
That's not a silver sword....
@@giorgis.2748 after having a second look, you are right. my point still stands however.
It's Geralt not Gerald or Ger-Alt.
@ ye geralt sorry.
Witcher 3 has been the best Single player RPG i've ever played. Hands down. Probably my favorite game of all time up until this point. Anyone who hasn't played that game yet, you need to. I could write a small novella about how good the Witcher 3 is.
Anyone else get immensely pissed off at his chat? How embarrassing
Really ? There is some people left on this planet Earth that didn't play Witcher 3 ? HOW THIS IS EVEN POSSIBLE ? Shame on you Asmongold...
"thats a wild animal, god damn" needs to be a meme
4 years later, still waiting for him to play it.
WITCHER MADE by POLISH Studio Im proud as hell !
If he doesn’t play it we riot
Man do us a favor, go play witcher 3 for god sake, one of the best games of all time.
For me the witcher 3 is the best Single Player rpg ever created. Rdr2 is 2nd but there is a gap.
The witcher 3 is just incredible in every way
If witcher 3 was comming out every year it qould be a game of the year every year
You should play it. The story line is brilliant. Graphics are awesome. Good gateway from wow.
The Game is Still on with newly released enhancement on graphic...look still amazing.
@@m4sch1nom29 *The setting is nothing if the story is everything* . Haven't you read any good literature? If you have, you'd notice that the setting is only an enabler for a good story, despite its disposition. What you basically are indicating is to judge a book by its cover, which in itself is ignorant. Please refrain from stating your opinion since you're obviously an attention seeking soy boy.
the witcher is.... art, live... its amazing
Witcher 3 still the best fantasy rpg I've played hands down
Obviously he can't at a 100 hour game. But I'd dono to see him play through Hearts of Stone
Witcher 3 is a bit longer than 100 hours, it`s more towards 250 with all DLCs and the replay value is sky high.
Know Never I just finished all of witcher 3 stories no side missions left although a fair amount of ? And I ended with 130 hours yet I see people take 200 hours to only finish the base game wtf
@@LeeSong325 Did you skip the conversations? I don`t know, man... it`s impossible to beat the base game in 130 hours. But then again, I missed out an absolute ton of content on my first playthrough as well.
Know Never I finish the base game twice both hovering around 80 hours maybe I just use fast travel more often
@@LeeSong325 You finished Witcher 3 in 80 hours??
What's up with streamers just finding out about The Witcher 3? It's been like 3 years
My God Emperor, he usually just plays WoW.
that ending
perfectly cut
This trailer makes me moist every time.
When I see these new gamers saying games like Witcher are boring and all they ever played is fortnite or mobile games. It makes me sad
That was a bruxa, and geralt used black blood potion which damages them if they attack you
I love how he sees witcher and says "That's some game of thrones shit"
It shows exactly how far has World of Junkcraft eaten his brain.
Playing Witcher 3 in 2024 and it is still awesome
I've never seen that first cinematic, and the second one was awesome to see again.
We need this Asmongold era back
NOW THIS IS A TRAILER HOLY SHOT
the thing is. witchers are mutants. can drink insanely strong potions which are poison to normal humans. witchers have superhuman reflexes, senses and cat eyes. but they are not stronger than humans and they are trained to kill monsters. the drug he drank before fighthing the vampire woman was a blood poison specially made aganist vampires since a vampire during the night is almost impossible to kill and certain suicide even for witchers. when the vampire sucks their blood they get weakened and become killable. also important detail, witchers can have trouble fighting actual trained human soldiers since all their fighting styles are specifically created to kill monsters with extreme maneuvers, jumps and spins. a well armored, well trained human soldier can in fact pose a threat to witchers. and witchers work for bounties. Geralt (the main character of the withcer series) is a very old one. 90+ years old.
I'm glad this guy isn't letting his opinion being swayed by others on this great game. I wasn't sure about the game either at first now here I am with the DLCS, merch, etc.
How could someone not have played the Witcher 3?!?!? It is with out a doubt one of the best games to come out in a very long time!
Goddamn, dude. I forgot how good Witcher was. This has given me a hankering to go back to Witcher 2/3.
"this is graphic holy shit" well hes been playing wow for a long time
Witcher 3 is by far the most immersive and best story driven RPG ever. Anyone who doubts that is probably a skyrim fan kiddo, who likes to make his game playable with 8000 mods so it can look atleast quarter as nice as Witcher 3 does without a single mod.
Witcher 3 is amazing. I played trough it 3 times and i get bored of most games really quickly
Im glad he enjoyed the trailers
I played witcher 3. I still don't understand why it is so hyped. I played games that i enjoyed much more than witcher 3.
This game is so good that you will replay it again and again.
I played WoW for 4 years from 2007 to 2011 and followed that up by another 3 years of only LoL. I am still catching up with games that I didn´t play in the meantime or that came out later but due to me getting to play games from back then I did not get to play the titles that were more recent. I still haven´t played Red Dead Redemption 2, Disco Elysium, both Last of Us Games, Spiderman, God of War and Ragnarok, both Horizon games, Zelda BotW, all Uncharted games, Prey, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, the last two Arkham Games, the newer 3 Assassins Creed games and so many more.
When trailer will be lot better than a whole netflix witcher series -.-
If you want you can watch Witcher seris from 2002. That's better then this trillers
The game isn't boring at all, it just had a bit of a learning curve. But once you get into the meat of the main story it's truly incredible. I'm a huge RPG fan and this is without a doubt the best game I've played to date. CDPR takes true pride in their work and it really shows. The game is immersive and gorgeous, combat is fun, the characters are deep and interesting and the story is absolutely mind blowing. Definitely recommend. But warning! If you get into this game, you will REALLY get into this game lol you'll sink 200 hours into this thing and not even know it hahaha
dear Asmond you're about to play the GREATEST game ever developed
The Witcher 3 imo is hard to get into, but once it clicks, it'll become addictive. Took me 20 hours of gameplay until I finally started to enjoy it, but once I did start to enjoy it, I couldn't drop it for 60+ hours.
it's hard to believe that someone in the gaming community haven't seen this trailer yet..
7:49 So the bomb was dropped "So, are you gonna play it?"
I myself suffer from this problem, I played Witcher 1 and 2 but still haven't been able to play 3 for the longest time
Witcher 3 is undoubtedly the best game I've played in a long long time. It's also aged like fine wine. There's no opinion that says this game is boring that is correct - people who say that should stick to roadblocks.
A bit of good ol black blood before a vampire fight
Im so hyped up that if I can't watch this guy play it im about to play this game once again
'Single player game, a lot of people aren't into that I guess' - bruh, it's like... THE best and best selling RPG in a beloved series on the PC, the fuck are you on about lol
"What is he, a worgen? He is got yellow eyes"
Rly? -.-
BOARING!!??? THAT'S GAME OF THE DECADE!!!!
To somebody who is saying the game is boring and slow: stop to play this masterpiece and return to simple Call of Duty. You can handle only this types of games, you are not worthy!
