      Well, the 11th question is related to the medical term vanishing twin syndrome in which a twin partially or completely absorbs the other twin to survive, if completely absorbed you would have normal baby birth but partial absorption gives additional appendages or even a large part of the body of the vanished child I guess in sukuna's case, he got extremely lucky and had additional working limbs because this is not the case with all the babies that take birth most times attached appendages or body parts can't be moved at all and are useless, sukuna should be the king of luck

    JJK's setup was worthy of a much longer series tbh. All that needed to be done was changed up pacing with more content inbetween the big moments and some small event alterations. The story just went by too fast with the main plot to really do anything with the rest. Intentional it seems, but would love to see a hypothetical take on a longer series that used some of that setup for a larger branching narrative. Glad to see the story reach its end though. Still like it for what it was, just intrested in what stories can become when there was as much untapped potential as it had

Even showing some of the training they did after the Culling Games as it's own arc for a short time while still keeping most of what they were doing secret would have added a lot and given a chance for more characterization. @@noddy1973 Thougt that was all just from the beginning. As far as we know, gege still took that and ran with it for awhile. From what's been said, he made a lot of changes himself on the basis of wanting to add points that were cool or interesting over plotting out the beginning, middle, and end all at once to see where the story went. The problem ended up being burnout for the series itself and wanting to do another manga like he originally planned to, but that would require finishing jjk as soon as possible which he kept saying would probably happen each year until we finally reached a point where they could end it in a quick time frame. Insane kuasacopium here! How he could use domain expansion: Sukuna was able to use domain expansion and amplification at the same time (correct me if I’m wrong here) so let’s just max out kusakabe’s potential in this situation and give him Batman levels of prep time with every training method in the universe. If he uses uiui’s soul swap training with someone who knows domain amp and DE (yuta?) he can learn the techniques similar to what yuji did which would lead to a domain expansion. With enough black flashes I think kusakabe can in the correct scenario have the most effective counter-DE in the verse. We know that you can fill your barrier with someone else’s ct because that’s what domain amp is. This also means you can cast multiple barriers. Tengen wasn’t specified to have any sort of specific genius, just centuries of learning. Kenjaku likely used this to separate his cts, and sukuna once again exemplified this with using domain amp and DE simultaneously. If kusakabe casts domain amp he loses nothing, so in theory if he casted domain amp and simple domain at the same time to counter an enemy DE, he could turn that into an expansion. I don’t know if not having a ct means you don’t have an innate domain, but if in theory scenario kusakabe has one, that would be the domain that would expand with the cursed technique of the enemy. The problems with this is he would need higher than yuta levels of understanding of his enemy’s technique to properly interpret what it could do in an expansion. He would also lack refinement in his domain because he would have a hard time practicing. Am I losing my mind or is kusakabe the sleeper goat and the head of the new jujutsu world?

    One thing that I would have personally really loved to see more of was how jujutsu worked outside of Japan with foreign sorcerers like Miguel and Charles and how they would deal with curses.

    • @CustomSet101
      @CustomSet101 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not sure, but I don't think there are many curses outside of Japan. Tengen's barriers keep them mostly contained to Japan. So they wouldn't deal with curses all that much.
      Megumi might be able to do a domain with an open barrier - he's got the muscle memory from Sukuna. But if that were the case, Yuji would also have an open barrier. So he may develop it in the future.

    I think one thing JJK should’ve explored more was the impact of Kenjaku introducing the concept of CE energy to the WHOLE WORLD. He went to China and U.S. so they could send soldiers to Japan to fuel the Merger that NEVER happened. There wasn’t a point to it but leave the readers wondering wtf. I think Sukuna and his twin had a heavenly restriction. Sukuna’s twin had the increased physical attributes and Sukuna had the jujutsu prowess, however, since HRs work the way they do, Sukuna and his twin would have been in the same situation as Maki and Mai. What I think happened is when Sukuna ate his twin, he gained the both the benefits of the heavenly restriction. The physical ability and the jujutsu prowess. This could potentially explain why Yuji has HR like strength, because his father’s soul is that of Sukuna’s twin.

    What I think about sukuna’s early life based on what he’s said, what ppl have said about him, and his conversation with Mahito (this is still headcannon) is that he wasn’t always evil. He was born an unwanted wretch due to the circumstances of his birth and had a rough childhood. He might’ve spent his whole early life pursuing strength believing that he could prove his worth and be accepted into society. When he was ultimately rejected he “chose the wrong path” or became “the fallen” and turned against society and slaughtered everyone until all that was left was to become a cursed object and do it again in the future. That’s why I think he said he had other possible paths to take. This could also be a biblical allusion to Judas (traitor) or Lucifer (fallen angel).

    9. Fate of Zenin clan, i doubt Maki killed most women and children in he mrassacre, why did nobody come after her?
    10. How does afterlife work in story? Gojo, Nanami had cozy airport but what did they do to deserve that, does Naoya get his own cozy airport? Are Curses unable to exist in afterlife since they eventually reincarnate?

    • @izaak8056
      @izaak8056 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There are a few of these that are alluded to.
      1:Gakuganji is now in charge for the time being. The problem is that ALL of the Jujutsu higher ups were killed off, (it's implied inumaki and Yuta killed them, and in quite brutal fashion) . The power vacuum was immense, and Yuta basically is the theoretical strongest and supports Gakuganji.
      2: Maki did kill everyone, and it's implied that she also killed the woman who were non combatants, as we see her mother mortaly wounded and basically dies as she falls on Naoya with her knife. Idk what the situation with the children is, but it's confirmed that the Zenin don't have anyone that can run the clan during the last meeting between the Gojo and Kamo clans. Maki is truly the last Zenin.
      3: The afterlife seems to work like the Buddhist afterlife in some respects. There isn't exactly a "heaven" or "hell" but you can reach "Nirvana" like Gojo did. Or you can choose to be reborn as someone new after facing the retribution of the afterlife. Basically, it's implied that Sukuna is going to a type of non permanent hell that he must exist in until his soul is utterly transformed and he's born as someone new to try at life again. It's an interesting concept that I kind of like. Essentially Gojo has gone to heaven and reached enlightenment. And the identity of Sukuna has been destroyed forever and his soul has been reshaped into someone new. Demon slayer has this style of afterlife as well, and it's explained better in some of the bonus material, namely the short comic where the demons are describing what being killed by various breathing styles felt like.
      4: we saw Hakari vs Kashimo? Unless you mean something else.
      The rest is all valid and is something I am also curious about

    Megumi’s recovery is a small thing but I saw a lot of people question it. Like how did Megumi not sustain any substantial brain damage from Unlimited Void? I’m pretty sure he took more than 1 and for sure had more time under the effects of it than the Shibuya citizens in Gojo’s 0.2 second Domain Expansion. Those folks caught up in it were supposed to be just in a coma for months and that’s was only for 0.2 seconds. That could’ve been explained more. I don’t think I really needed to know about the New Shadow Style school and the old hag stealing the life essence from disciples. I actually think I can answer number 12. (It’s just my theory) so Kenny decided he would try to create the perfect opponent for Sukuna. This lead to Kenny impregnating women with curses to make the cursed womb death paintings. However when he got around to Yuji he had figured out how to perfect it. He became a woman to give birth to Yuji himself. Going through rituals of bathing with Sukuna fingers and doing a whole bunch of other gross things. Finally Yuji was born and unlike Choso or any of the other death womb paintings. Yuji was a perfected version of a death womb painting.

    I wish Gege actually flashed out whole goyuta situation. This plot twist was insane and had a perfect set up for Yutas and Gojos character development with all this “become the monster” theme, but it literally went to nowhere. It barely did anything to the story. Zero consequences. Just nothing
    Yuta did one of the most twisted things and the only consequence is stitches on his head?
    Also why bringing up 3 times the fact Yuta being descendent of both Sugawara and Fujiwara? It also went to nowhere

    • @raec5426
      @raec5426 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I feel like Gege potentially had more plans for that he could have cut short since that was around when he had a month break (apparently got appendix surgery).
      But thematically, it served mainly Gojo to add to his sense of isolation with monster theme (adds another parallel of Gojo and Geto both having bodies used after death). Yuta with monster theme to contrast Yuji with humanity theme (basically a way to show a difference for Yuji to prop him up as the MC).
      I thought before the stuff for Yuta with leinage would show him have some type of a power up (to surpass Gojo in a different way). But I guess bringing up Yuta leinage was about showing how he was even more genetically blessed than Gojo with bloodline potential, but he still couldn't match the talent of Gojo even with having his body. Narratively, he could not be Gojo even when he literally was him. That also ties into Gojo's conversation with Yuji about finding strength different from him.
      There was enough pay off for Gojo (and Yuji adjacently) for it, but Yuta got the short end of stick and didn't get a strong conclusion with some type of narrative book end after ch 261, some type of reflection after the experience.
      I feel like out of the characters in the final arc, the ones that got the most narrative closure of the main cast were Yuji as MC, Gojo, and Sukuna as main antagonist. But some other important characters were somewhat left hanging narratively.

    I've been appreciating the hypothesis that Sukuna's twin was the one that had Cleave, and that Cleave was originally just the ability to divide, while Shrine was the ability to absorb. The trick is that, in this theory, reversing Shrine would get you Cleave, and reversing Cleave would get you Shrine.
    What's more, it goes that Sukuna was born with the weaker ability, being basically useless without active cannibalism, but in exchange had superhuman strength like Yuji. Even if he reversed Shrine, he'd just get a weaker, clumsier version of Dismantle.
    Meanwhile, had his brother been able to develop Reverse Curse Technique, his Dismantle would appear to have no reverse, as it literally would just give him access to an empty vault and no clue as to how to fill it.
    Because Sukuna ate his brother and, through Shrine, acquired a curse technique that was literally Shrine's equal and opposite, he basically had a Black-Flash-awareness-boost-on-juice from housing two, symmetrical curse techniques simultaneously. It'd basically be like having the instructions for Reverse Curse Technique etched into your soul. This plus the explosion of cursed energy from killing the weaker-but-more-powerful twin brother would have effectively made Sukuna the equivalent of a Special-Grade Sorcerer at birth, more like a curse than a human even without his extra limbs, eyes, and mouths.
    Then, he starts eating people.
    This also explains why Shrine and Cleave are treated as the same curse techniques. They're literally a palindrome of each other, and Sukuna's had Cleave for so long that the lines between his curse technique and his brother's have withered away to nothing.
    If true, I'm kinda curious what that would mean for what Yuji is. His grandfather was a reincarnation of Sukuna, his father is a reincarnation of Sukuna's twin. Why couldn't either of them be the vessel? What's so different about Yuji?

    Since Gege wrote Gojo, Sukuna and Yuta, the "strongest" characters, so well, I'd be really interested to see another series in the same universe but instead of students learning about Jujutsu and training for missions it's about adult, fully fledged sorcerers perfecting their techniques and various extensions (barriers, binding vows, reversals, etc.) and becoming the strongest there is, and part way through starting to actually interact with those higher entities, the higher-ups in Jujutsu society, the consciousness(es?) that govern vows and restrictions, the Cursed Realm and the sorcerer afterlife, the conceptual things that we got hints and inklings of but were never really shown. The more magical and wondrous side beyond destroying things.

      A sequel where we follow adult Yuji, probably as the new Gojo, teaching the next gen is what we all want. @@thekamotodragon I think Yuta would be the "new Gojo," the strongest sorcerer of his time, and Yuji would be more like Nanami, always caring for the younger people and bantering endlessly with his peers, and doing everything for the good of other people. But of course, as we see in the final chapter, Yuji does begin to carry on Gojo's dream. A series where Megumi and Nobara have kind of separated from jujutsu society and gone off into their own lives, leaving Yuta and Yuji as deuteragonist friends exploring the deepest levels of Jujutsu together (Maki would likely be there too, if her and Yuta stay together, making it a trio - the strongest and most talented, the one with the widest intrinsic arsenal, and the one with heavenly restriction and all the perks that come with that), would be so cool. It won't happen, but it's fun to think about.

    If I'd dare to guess, breaking a binding vow might prevent the user from using cursed energy for a certain amount of time or even indefinitely. Gege takes much inspiration from HxH, and Togashi has used the consequence of a forced zetsu state multiple times as a drawback, essentially crippling nen users and rendering them powerless. Maybe Gege had a similar idea?
    To add: Higaruma's "Confiscation", removing cursed techniques / energy usage, might also be the same effect of breaking a binding vow between two people.

  • @thatoneguy7715
    @thatoneguy7715 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    A couple I wanted to see explained/gotten, or just simply questions ig
    Big number 1
    Geto/Kenjaku choking scene from shibuya
    Literally introduced once and never brought up again, even when Kenjaku is about to die or when Yuta switches bodys into Gojos. It's heavily alluded to that Geto holds small influences within his body[being able to perfectly bow, or thinking about it it's been a while tbh. The Shibuya choking scene] and Gege just did nothing with it
    2. Uro's existance
    Literally vanshied from the story to the point we don't know where she is, never seen again after that one panel with her reacting to sukunas prescene, pretty sure we don't even know if Kenjaku found and killed her.
    3.explaination of where Toji's tools went
    we know what happened to playful cloud at least in the anime, but Inverted spear, chain of 1k miles? would've been real helpful if they had say given them to Maki, we don't know if the tools were destroyed by Gojo or sealed or anything but considering she still doesn't have them even after Gojo was unsealed he unfortunately probably destroyed them, just wish we had a clear answer
    4.This one might be a little effy but I wanted it regardless, a Shoko crying scene, because she is literally alone story wise
    By the end of the story she's lost, Gojo, fully lost Geto, even Yaga and Nanami, I'm not sure if anyone has realized but out of everyone in Hidden Inventory, Shoko is the ONLY survivor of the Tokoyo class shown, IK her profession and position calls for her to basically shut off that side of her[or maybe she's just evolved to not feel as hard because the only thing I can compare her to is her H.I self and JJK0 which is basically her JJK self just one year apart] but at the end of it all her being basically alone, should've definitely sparked some sort of human reaction even IF she was numb to it, it should have fully sunk in that everyone she was with was gone by the end. Lowkey would fiend for a scene where she is like playing with or looking at teen Gojo's glasses, like he gave them to her once his six eyes got too strong for them post-awakening or something
    5. This one is even smaller, than the last but how utahime got that scar
    Seeing as she has a support CT, who ever sends people on missions should have clearly known she couldn't handle whatever mission she was on, meaning it probably spiraled out of control like with haibara's mission, or that she did something stupid[unlikely] OR was blindsided on her mission, I just wanna know how
    6. Will curses decrease, but curse users increase?
    simple one, Curses got stronger because of Gojo, but curse users got suppressed[they weren't like curses either being mindless or insanely strong, so they didn't want smoke] so without Gojo will the opposite be true? will cursed users be on the rise with curses being nerfed over time most likely so tbh?
    7. [I just thought this up on the spot, so it's not that good or thought out so skip it, if not bear with me] will Maki restart the Zenin clan? or will she just go on living forever by her self[along side Megumi, forgot about him] and basically just choose not to restart it?
    probably the latter, as she hated the Zenin clan rightfully so and Megumi doesn't give a damn just a general question ig? it's not like if it WAS brought back it'd be the same, Maki would either A- be where all future Zenins come from if Megumi doesn't do anything [W Yuta :speaking_head:] so they 99% chance wouldn't revert or if she doesn't have kids, if Megumi does and they start becoming like the former Zenin clan did she while she's still alive, she would literally assassinate mfs if they start reverting, unless Megumi most likely raises them right lmao. This is more of "Will the Zenin clan ever return" than anything thinking about it now

      It’s not that big of a let down we didn’t get the answer but those people faster and stronger than Yuji’s probably dedicated their lives into that aspect of themselves to excel in that area. Like how Yuji has insane potential as a sorcerer but took over 250+ chapters to even be anywhere near close to reaching his full potential. If Yuji dedicated himself in the same areas those he said were stronger and faster than him then I don’t think it would’ve been far-fetched to think he could surpass those people.

    • @risk19l
      @risk19l หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@THED3ADLY7 that's a fair point about dedication as we all know how hard working our boy is. The thing to remember though, is that Yuta is faster than Yuji and Todo is stronger. My theory is about the ten shadows, even tho it's cursed energy, energy cannot just disappear, so I think the biggest strength of the technique is that if all shadows die, including Mahoraga, the energy would flow over to the owner of the technique granting him all abilities, but as the man. Probably sukuna couldn't pull this off because he could not see it possible, but when Megumi used his domain for the first time he says "broaden the interpretation of the technique". He was "spoiled" as far as being in a wealthy family (but not spoiled as in having an ideal life). He was seperated from his parents young for his education/training and didn't have much of a relationship with them. He didn't have proper relationships with family since they treated him differently as "special" being the prize of the clan.
      He ran away from home to have fun sometimes, which is why he was alone in that scene as a kid when the assassins were after him. There was nothing mentioned about him having teleportation then (we see he didn't show anything like that in it Hidden Inventory either). He thought his family was overbearing, so he was happy to go to Jujutsu Tech to get away.
      Given Gojo's loneliness theme even without this information, we could infer he couldn't have had much of a strong connection with his family, which is why his blue spring in high school was the best time of his life and Geto is the most important person to him for someone he had as a true equal.

      @@thekamotodragon Norutoshi ran away from the fight, so I think that should disqualify him as a heir. Yuji has a claim to the Kamo clan, through Kenjaku (he killed the previous head). I hope is Yuji.
      Megumi was the head of the clan, after the previous one death, but he does not have the last name. So that leaves Maki. She is gonna have rebuilt the clan by herself, just like Sasuke.
      I wonder who Gojo's heir is? Unless he had a secret kid we do not know about it, could Yuta be Gojo's heir? They have a share ancester, so it is possible.

    I have many as well, and many of them were brought up here, but one I thought about was regarding Mahoraga. I would like to know how the Zenin clan discovered and/or created Mahoraga. Essentially, what are its origins. Was it always included within the Ten Shadows, or was it added? I guess I would add if the ancestor who fought Gojo's ancestor have a domain expansion, as well.
    Anything else would be anything Kenjaku. There was alot more to his character I wanted explored.

    I had always wished JJK got to something like Hunter x Hunter nen. Where sorcerers would learn to craft an ability and the only reason some are born with one is for the same reason CT can be imbued to a weapon, that exposure causes it to be burnt into the next generation or something like that.
    Then show that Sakuna is strong because he knows how to craft CT which is why he is able to weld binding vows so easily.

    08:30 Maki didn't get stronger because her sister died. Maki was weaker because she had a sister. Killing her got her the power she always should have had. Important distinction.
    This means Sukuna wasn't buffed by having a twin necessarily.
    That said, his odd body is definitely an advantage, and that may have been the result of having a twin.
