Thanks for this! I have a photo that I was gutted had a person in that didn't quite line up with the subject. This has just sorted that problem out for me in seconds!
Very helpful, thanks. One more step I needed: in the Content Aware Move toolbar, near the top, "Transform on Drop" is checked in this video. If that isn't checked, when you drag the moved object, it moves but leaves a copy behind. In that case, to the right of "Transform on Drop," click on the white checkmark to really move the object.
@@uddim004 Still working for me as shown. When you have "Transform on Drop" checked, the object you want selected, and you're using Content Aware Move Tool to drag the object... then you're pressing the ENTER key to finalize the move, correct? The object is only removed from its original location when you press ENTER (see 1:55 on the video).
What method would you use to select an object that’s difficult to select? I tried moving a boat but when I pasted it to another location the sky was a different color and it showed a dark halo around the boat.
My friend, thank you very much for this very useful tutorial. Am new at photoshop. Found you on Udemy and appreciate finding you. Kind regards from UK/London.
Hi can you make a video using photoshop CS6, or photoshop without the rectacle selection tool in masking. How to move people or objects closer together to remove the gap. thanks much

Whether it's clicked or not it still leaves a copy. Not sure how to stop this
