I love watching the videos on this locker because of the motorcycles and his life. I used to ride but I got in a bad accident on my bike in 2012. My left eye was hanging down on my cheek by the optic nerve. I never lost sight in that eye. I was in the hospital for 10 days and had a total of 6 surgeries. My mother was 87 at the time this happened and I promised her I wouldn't ride anymore. It is now 10 years later and my mother is still alive. She will be 98 in January. She is still getting around by herself. She shops and does thing that people do. She is an amazing woman and a wonderful mother and I Love her very much.
You are blessed in more ways than most!

The original owner of this unit must truly been a great man!!! The electric wheel chair if you have trouble selling it why not gift it to someone who is truly in need of one yet can't afford one!!!
And the framed photo you referred to as his "prized posession" is a really good guy who actually drove for my uncle back in the day. So cool seeing someone open these items that isn't aware of that world and finding awe and amazement with it. Thank you for showing such respect and awe in something that isn't in you're wheelhouse👍
The guy in this video rode in a bike club and was into flat track racing. He probably got into a motorcycle accident and that is why he had that wheelchair. A lot of guys when they got out of the service that were in Vietnam joined bike organizations for the brotherhood and love motorcycles. They had strong brotherhood in the service. That is why when they got out they joined clubs. I know quite a few guys that when they got out of Nam they did just that. They are still riding or affiliated with the organizations they joined. I cant help but feel bad for the person that lost their unit. It would honestly sux to see this on youtube and know it was my stuff.
I am surprised that this guy lost his locker. When you belong to a club they always have your back and would pay your storage fees take the shit out of storage and hold it for him!! He might have been a wanta be club member or he passed away and they were not aware. Great finds Alex so many memories that man saved. I have well over 35 Harley Davison chips and 75 shirts. As far as the electric chair I donate them back to the vets. Most people have insurance that will pay for their chairs and others who don't cover them. I donate all medical supplies to them. 🙏🇺🇲🙏
I totally agree that donating medical supplies is the right thing to do, especially if it's a wheelchair of any kind! And especially if there is so much more profit in the unit than the chair as is the case of this unit!
The only way they won't pay for something like a storage unit is if the person that rented it passed away I know that for a fact because my whole family is part of some kind of motorcycle club

That blue note dollar you found is a Silver Certificate and I just saw you put it into the stack of motorcycle pics that you are sending back to people! I'm not sure if you wanted to do that or not...those dollars are worth 15.00 to 25.00 in good condition. I just saw a video of a unit buyer where the unit had a 100.00, 500.00 and 1,000.00 bills from the 1920's. Now those are really valuable.

Great unit alex. I hear little mamma liz calling dibs on tape garbage bags and sponges lol. Should have kept that list of drivers to go with the autographs js. Plus the programs you pitched ephemra. Fantastic finds stay safe hugs.
I realise the chair is worth a lot but so many need one that can't food one , if it was me I would find a suitable person and donate it. It would be a lovely present for someone.
Not everyone can afford to donate their big ticket items.

Alex, I am a believer that when you come across an item like the wheelchair or other medical equipment, and your " inner voice" is wrestling with the question, " Will I be a total jerk if I sell this and not donate it to someone who can use it?" Well, that's not up to anyone else to decide but yourself even if we all have our own opinions, but I truly believe that if we are asking ourselves that question, we already know the answer! ✌
Your in the green on this unit. If I was you I'd find someone who can't afford one but really needs one and donate it to them. When my father was alive we could have really used one but they are to expensive. Love watching your vids while having my morning coffee. Helps start the day. Thanks.
It's a bottle opener but I have seen people use them to open up paint cans

Apparently he was a veteran. It would be nice if you can donate that wheel chair to another veteran for Christmas. Everything you find related to bikes, cars and racing remind me of my dad. He was a mecanic, prepared racing cars and had a career in motor racing, you brought a lot of memories back. All the magazines you threw away might have had the info you need for the autographed fotos.
You should have a used Medical equipment store in your area. They will usually buy the higher end power chairs. That might be your best bet.
I wouldn’t sell for less than a thousand cause they will sell for at least 2k.

I used to go to a quarter mile race track and watch the races. Anyone could race whatever they had. There were cars, trucks and motorcycles. I liked the motorcycles the best. There was a bike there that blew all the bikes away. There were kz 900s.and other fast racing bikes,but the one that blew away all of the other ones was a Harley 750. That was back around 1980.
This owner was probably a member of the Biker Club Hells Angels . 81 stands for H. A. Letters from the alphabet chart.
If I had a lcker that was full blown profit, and it had that wheelchair, I'd donate it to the Wounded Warriors.
I was just thinking that same thing, wounded warriors program always needs help for our veterans and a chair like that would be the highlight of some warriors life.
Whenever I came across a wheelchair- I donated it to a local VFW. They appreciate it and theres always a veteran who can use it!

another word from the peanut gallery. a lot of those coins that are not real money are what those that served in the military call "challenge coins". those are given to service members, usually by other service members, for various deployments or accomplishments completed during active duty. incidentally certain challenge coins have some benefits that go with them, or alternately some penalty. for instance, he with the most, never pays for a drink at a club, if there are more than 3 service members there, the others alternate buying him rounds. if there are 10 or more there, he with the least must buy the first round after he arrives, for all the other military there. another thing you should know, POW/MIA means prisoner of war/missing in action. because not every one that serves in the military comes back during wartime, "police action", or guarding embassies, et cetera.

As an electric wheelchair user I would never buy one without a warranty as they are so expensive, we NEED them yet get no support to pay for them so if they break we are literally stuck in bed. Without a warranty, we'd be screwed.

Do you still have the world of outlaws stuff? If not, I would be interested. My great uncle is in the USAC Hall of Fame and my dad built his motors for years, so those would be cool to have to pay homage to deep family roots. Not gonna lie, I thought maybe this was someone I knew personally's unit with all the Harley and World of Outlaw stuff, lol

Dimes are 10 cents nickles are 5 cents. And yes a buck is one dollar.
The Red and White is The Hells Angels. All of the lettering on their colors, which is the vests they wear are fed and white. They are the only outfit that can wear those colors. All other 1% clubs wear black and white. Like the big name bike clubs you can think of.
The wheelchair I would donate to the closest VA Hospital. We have injured service people who could use one I'm sure.

I believe you bought a biker, possibly a United States Veterans locker and the expensive wheelchair belonged to a Veteran, a biker and someone that had a love for many different motorsports.
On that wheelchair.... Donate it to a VFW post around you. Bet there is a Vet that could really us it.....

PLEASE, it isn't Pow Mow, It's P.O.W. (prisoner of war) and M.I.A. (missing in action) (also known as someone that they are unsure if they have been taken prisoner or been killed in action and the body has not been found).
