  • Locker Nuts episode 488
This is the second part of this incredible one dollar locker that I bought at a recent storage auction. So far, we've found great stuff but we have a lot more items explore... boxes, totes, tool boxes and more... to see what goodies are now ours. But along with the good stuff comes the bad, and this locker reveals a dark side as well.

Jack, love your channel. When you run into medical supplies like Tegaderm, don’t throw it out! Donate to missionary groups or something. I was a wound care nurse for awhile, that stuff is expensive. Let them decide what to keep. Thanks

I've just started watching these videos regularly & I love when Jack says " oooo that looks expensive"!! Several I've seen are from 2-3 years ago. Still enjoy Jack's enthusiasm finding pennies, when he has before him a storage locker worth several thousand dollars 😊

Don't know if you have sold vintage/ antique tools in your auctions, but it is worth thinking about a box or two of tools. The wrench with the "stars," shaver in the top drawer, Yankee ratchet driver, old drill, clamp looking tool in same drawer, dies in lower drawers, and items in that large bottom drawer. In the antique store that is easily 250 dollars in tools. Likely more, because it was hard to see everything in large drawer. You would still need to wrap the items because some of the tools are heavy enough to break the box if they bang the sides. There are a lot of people who collect old tools!

And the odder the better. Sometimes use catfood bags (the 50#) to help keep sharp things from poking through. Check tools that look old and have names you don't recognize.

Hi Jack! (I always loved to wave and holler that at the airport in the 70's just because...) just saying i'm at mom's house and it's LIKE A STORAGE LOCKER. Thanks for keeping me company while I go thru her mountain of accumulated stuff -- 96 years worth and she is sharp enough to drive herself to the assisted living apartment. No big dollar locker scores yet. But a gazillion memories, like "I remember I had that purse for Easter in 1962". Thanks for the assist in getting me through this.

Took me forever to get rid of them but don't lie them flat. Use the center and edge to handle them and don't touch the grooves. The warps were most likely from heat

Tegaderm Foam Adehesive 6.9 cm x 7.6 cm (mini oval) - foam dressing with adhesive edge / 10 pieces
3M Tegaderm Foam Adhesive is a thin, highly absorbent foam dressing with superabsorbent and a moisture-regulating layer for lightly to heavily exuding wounds.
Its particularly thin adhesive edge and the patented spoke application system enable precise, one-handed application, even in difficult areas.
    Your advantages:
    - Adaptation to different amounts of exudate
    - Reduced risk of maceration or wound drying through intelligent exudate management
    - patented memory application system enables application with just one hand
    - perfect fit even in prominent places
    - Secure hold thanks to the extra-thin adhesive edge and hypophilic adhesive - even with strong shear forces and rather damp skin
    Indications:
    - for the ideally moist wound care for weakly to heavily exuding wounds
    - for surface wounds as a primary dressing, for deep wounds as a secondary dressing

You will never see records sold laying flat in music stores. They ALWAYS sell them horizontally. The center non grooved part of the record is thicker than the grooved part. They will warp slightly if laid flat for too long in heat. You should always store records vertically. I learned that the hard way.

There's no way you got that locker for $1. Were you the only one at the auction?! Did you intimidate the other buyers? Wild....

That brass key is valuable. Is a Railroad key from times gone. Value depending on the railroad, age and rareness. Do some research There should be a stamp or number on it for clues.
