I learned Spring by ears, never finished it. Then I learned to play this song by reading the sheet, never finished it either. 😂 Guess I can't call myself a pianist yet.
Hi. I'm learning this song. I hope you are kind enough to share your expertise on this piece. I am not sure if I am to use the sustain pedal for the chorus part and also the part with the repeated running notes... please help...
So I noticed the staccato parts, no sustain pedal. Then came the chorus, I use the pedal all the way to the "bridge" where the repeated notes... correct me if I am wrong. Help.
In general, use pedal where the harmony is fuller. Such as the chorus when there are a lot more chords. And make sure to change pedal when the harmony changes. There’s a LOT more to pedaling but this is a good start!
@@RhapsodyPianoStudio thank you very very much! My piano knowledge and skills stopped at grade 3. Didn't play piano for the last 30++ years... only got back to it 5 yrs ago. So I still can read notes well and still able to understand some musical terms...but very rusty 🤪 i will look into the usage of pedals now.

Hi sir, do you use pedal at the beginning part when performing?
Not at the beginning as the staccatos should be the focus ✌🏻

It goes like that

When necessary
Just change the speed of the video :)
