Dr. Taylor - you are wonderful. I wish I had found you years ago during my Peri-menopausal years. I am post menopausal now and trying to figure it all out. Your videos are great and easy to understand. Since I discovered you I have been recommending you to all my family and friends. I am looking forward to watching ALL of your videos. THANK YOU, THANK YOU , THANK YOU
This makes me so happy! I just know that this education will improve the entire rest of your life. Don't hesitate to schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME if you ever want me to tailor everything specifically to YOU. That's the key to success, and I do them all online.
Your videos are amazing!! I love the way that you explain the various phases of menopause in such depth. It’s helping me to have a better understanding of what’s going on with my body. Thanks so much!! ☺️
There will be videos on everything. I an trying to teach you the reality of what happens at menopause. I will give you options in every category for managing all these things any way you wish. But denial does you no good. Knowledge is power. And not all knowledge is what you want to hear. There is no way I can give you everything in a single video. It's just not possible. If you do want everything all tat once, you should: (1) Schedule a one-on-one consultation with me in which I CAAN cover earthing (both good & bad), & tailor it all to you, along with all your options for managing it. (2) Get the DVD of the entire seminar at MenopauseTaylor.ME (3) Get the chapter-by-chapter webinars of the entire education (and watch them in order) (4) Get my book & read it (5) Watch these once-a-week videos in order starting with the very first one and continue doing so for the next few years. I have created every educational tool to serve your needs, regardless of your timeline, learning style or budget. Knowledge is power, even when it's not what you want to hear.
@@MenopauseTaylor It is not just about what we want to hear and nobody is saying that your videos are not useful, it is just that insisting on so much depressing information could even grow a bad mood. and most of the symthoms could even grow with that kind of info due to humans are instrinsecally emotional creatures. To warn and teach is not a happy result and most women precisely need more support than exclusively just information. Maybe you could work with a partner in your videos. I thank you everyday for all you have taught me but I insist on women in menopause need more support than just information or, at least, teach how to see in a better way the same info in order not to grow emotionally all those bad changes to became even worse just to be aware of. Our minds need to be healthy and not scared because information could be scaring. We are also responsible for what we teach and how we teach that info. We need more hope during the rest of our lives.
You are so welcome, Charlotte. I love making these videos for you and having consultations with women to tailor everything specifically to to each one. It's what you deserve.
Thank you for providing this priceless education. I live in Ecuador and have been unable to locate a menopause specialist in country. I did find a GYN who agreed to prescribe HRT for me until she discovered that I have fibroids. No matter what I said I could not convince her that they should not affect whether or not I am eligible for HRT. She disagreed and said I need a hysterectomy before she will prescribe HRT. Instead I dropped her and bought AngelIQ at the pharmacy since no prescription is necessary. Now I will search for a new GYN.
Emily, You might want to have a consultation with me to address your situation so that I can tailor everything specifically to YOU. You need to know how to work with any professional, and I can tell you how to go about that. \I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works: 1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you. I do consultations on Skype, FaceTime. Facebook Messenger, What’s App, and the phone. 2) I would confirm that you are scheduled for the stated time, and invite you to send me as much information about yourself as you please. You can make it brimming with details and tell me about your reproductive life, any gynecologic problems you've had, your symptoms of peri-menopause, and your symptoms of post-menopause. You can include all your fears, concerns, and goals for your menopause management. You may also send me any labs, mammogram results, bone density results, etc. that you would like me to include in designing your protocol. For instance, if you want to adhere to a certain category of management options (herbs or diet & lifestyle, or whatever), you should tell me that. I would need all these things at least 1 week before your consultation with me. 3) I'll get busy creating a document that gives you all the education you need to understand absolutely everything, points put the pros and cons of each option, and tailors it all to YOU using the information you have provided. The document will be loooooong. Most are 25 - 30 pages. 4) I will send you the document by email at least 24 hours before your consultation. You will benefit greatly by reading it in advance. Light bulbs will go off like crazy, and if you're like most women, you'll feel that you've already gotten your money's worth. 5) During your consultation, we will review the document and address any issues you want to fine tune everything and determine your best options. I'll tell you exactly how to find the right kind of professional, how to have the conversation in order to get what you want, and the nuances of things like guidelines and insurance. I leave nothing unaddressed. 6) You will go to a professional of your choosing in order to get the actual hormones or whatever you choose to use. 7) After the first consultation, I'll hold your hand (forever if you want me to). In other words, you'll be able to schedule mini-consultations (15-minute or 30-minute, in addition to full consultations) whenever you need to. I'll keep records of your situation. Most women schedule mini-consultation whenever they go to the doctor and don't understand what he or she said, or why. I translate. I make sense of everything. Most schedule mini-consultation whenever they have a new test and they want me to explain the results. And all schedule mini-consultation whenever their situation changes and they need to re-weigh and balance their options. The time you spend with me will make everything about working with any other professional so easy. And they will love the fact that you have an actual education rather than a bunch of misconceptions that you got form the Internet. If your initial hormone regimen is not right, you'll want to consult with me before going to your doctor. I can prepare you for what to expect and what to request. So, that's my role. And nobody else on earth does this kind of thing but me. So, I hope you schedule a consultation and let me hold your hand (figuratively).
Try to keep yourself healthy. Your diet is very important, eat more plant based and also more herbal estrogens. Do some exercises every day, also strength training. If you have strong muscles your bones are protected. Meditation and Yoga prevents you from anxiety and bad moods. And for all you wonderful ladies out there: Love yourself!!!
I was having numerous peri menopause symptoms, went to a medical herbalist. Best advice ever given was to take a daily capsule of blended cod liver oil & evening primrose. Sorted. That pic is me at age 60.
Pam Robinson I think that everyone’s body reacts to different medicines in many different ways. However, I am so appreciative of any ideas to see what works for me. Thank you. I am hoping that Barbara can help me through this journey. Dominique Sasche first introduced me to Barbara doing a makeup video and since then I have been watching her. Now, there is a real need to get some help.
The very best help comes from scheduling a consultation, and that's what you've done. I'm very excited to be able to help you. I look very forward to meeting you.
Be sure you try it for at least 2 months before judging anything. And don't hesitate to consult with me to fine-tune anything that isn't perfect after 2 months. That's the kind of thing I do in a consultation.
@@MenopauseTaylor Thanks Dr Taylor that exactly what my Dr said dont come in this office until at least has been 2 months lol😂 I appreciate you so much Dr Barbie thanks for all you do for us ladies😘
Is it impossible to whittle down the menopausal belly fat because of diminished Estradiol even on HRT?..I hope with exercise , weight training, and HRT that it will make some difference.
It isn't impossible, but it is much more difficult. If you really want to understand all the forces that are at play, schedule a one-on-one consultation with me. It will make you much more successful in your efforts. One of the big problems is that not a single professional who is available to help you with weight loss (dietitians, nutritionists, fitness people, diet promoters) knows a singe thing about menopause. So, they have no idea how to actually help you. In a consultation, I will teach you what's really happening in your body and teach you how to work with it. Then, you'll be more successful no matter what you choose to do. I've seen all the videos. Great for age 35-50 but what about those over 70 like me? What you'd say is take my meds, keep getting check-ups, forgive the bad Dr+ all the mistakes they did on me, be glad🤸 I lived this long, and learn to be a sweet little old lady, and grow older gracefully 🧟 keep up classes and the Health+ Wellness, wash hands and wear mask, keep 🏃active, and hope there's a heaven and keep my sense of humor😁I don't think unfortunately you could advise anything new at this point. I think I should cancel the app't with you + save you time. Old age is an irriversible condition. I'll keep doing all the right things🧘💃🏋️🚴💅vitamins etc. You are still young+ look great. Hope you do a Menopause 🤯 for 75 ++plus someday, for those who missed the boat! I'm not trying to be facitious. I'm a realist. Thanks anyhow, but my future is NOW, and inevitable. Positive thinking🤗 hope+🙏 prayer is good.😊Thanks for all the videos 👵The past👸can't be re-done.
Not having a problem with hair growth.....yet! When does this start? Wish I knew all this when I was going thru it a year or two ago! It still applies to me tho. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge, Dr. Menopause Taylor!
It is different for every woman. Most experience hair loss during early post-menopause, when your estrogen is kaput, but your testosterone is still high. High testosterone is what causes men to go bald. So, for a time, we have a hormone situation that is somewhat similar in early post-mennopause.
There's no way to know. For some women, hair loss is temporary. For others, it's permanent or progressive. If you want me to help you with all the different options for preventing hair loss, schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I won't get to hair loss videos for a loooooong time.
Hi Dr. Barbie, I have always had larger breasts; however, they have grown considerably in menopause. Mind you, I have gained some weight but not in proportion to how much my breasts have grown. Is this common?
There's a bunch of great stuff about menopause. But, you can only achieve it with education. There will be videos on everything. I an trying to teach you the reality of what happens at menopause. Hell yeah 😂The best health advice I've been given was from a medical herbalist. Been taking a blend of cod liver oil & evening primrose for just on 20 years, no adverse menopausal symptoms.
Beautiful outfit! I have not had any grey hairs yet! But a lady at the dentist office his assistant who is66 claims she never had any post menopausal symptoms. I also dont have black whiskers mine are blonde so nobody notices them! For me I was very independent until I broke my ankle. I have never felt lonely even when I was single I never get people who are obsessed over being lonely! As you found out from your last video the person who was attacking me and you I don't hesitate to tell anyone off but that was even before menopause. Maybe I am quicker to do it now. Thanks for this education.
@@MenopauseTaylor I actually dont have whiskers I have that peach fuz you talked about so much of it but its bloxnde so nobody notices thank God I hate waxing!
I saw a new doctor today in Internal Medicine. I told her I want to take Raloxifene or Tamoxifen. She said no. She said, "We don't prescribe it because of the side effects. Cancer and blood clots." End of story. I won't see her again. She's the most rigid doctor I've ever seen. Not just about those meds, but the whole visit. I need a doctor who will work with me, who discusses things with me and we come to a mutual agreement. After all, it's my body we're talking about. Do you prescribe meds? I'll save for a consultation if you do. xo~linda
fasting every 17 hours between healthy meals and light walking everyday, keeps my belly flat actually losing weight, fasting every 12 hours or so from 10pm till next day 2 3 pm keeps my belly under control and more energy over all
I do not prescribe. But I do tell you how to go about working with any professional to get what you want. There are many pitfalls and I teach you how to maneuver around all of them. The best way to go about this is to have a consultation with me FIRST. I'll save you a mountain of frustration and mistakes. And I'll be there to hold your hand for the rest of your life as you continue to navigate through menopause.
Tammy, You need a consultation for this. There is no way I can tailor everything specifically to YOU in a comment box the way I an in a consultation. Please schedule one at MenopauseTaylor.ME.
Dr. T, it's Cori, since I just had a consult with you a couple of weeks ago, I'll just ask on here. You had me drop my progesterone because I don't have a uterus but you state in the video that progesterone is a hormone of calmness and helps tamper down anxiety, right? Why wouldn't progesterone along with my estrogen help my anxiety, which I think it did when I was taking it? Since increasing my estrogen my anxiety is much less but not completely gone, evenings are still when it rears it's ugly head, even splitting my estrogen dose like you suggested. I know a lot of women, like me, that have had total hyst/BSO's and they take all three hormones or at least estrogen and progesterone. Do you believe there is EVER a reason for a woman without a uterus to use progesterone? Also, a lot of doctors prescribe progesterone for sleep which is one of my last holdouts since my hyst/BSO. I still have trouble falling asleep and waking a lot throughout the night. Will this get better as I get closer to the right estrogen dose? You saw my labs and my progesterone comes in as basically 0. To all that have not done a consultation with Dr. Taylor and you have a lot of questions that your current physician is not answering, I would highly recommend a one-on-one consultation with Dr Taylor, she is incredibly knowledgeable and really takes the time to get to know you and help. I am so glad that I found her.
You bet! In addition to explaining various good things throughout some of the videos that have both good and not so good things, there are videos on just the good things as well. I think menopause can and should be the best time in your life. But that's impossible without an education about it. It's your job to make it great, and you can't do that with ignorance. So, I'm here to help you.
I'll post it again and hope it comes through- Dr. T, it's Cori, since I just had a consult with you a couple of weeks ago, I'll just ask on here. This is not the forum for continuing your consultation. But I can give you some facts. Progesterone does cause drowsiness. It is the calming, seating hormone. It's what causes pregnant women to feel like they could fall asleep standing up in the first months of pregnancy. So, for some women, progesterone is great for inducing sleep and reducing anxiety. The problem is that it also causes bloating, acne, & depression, which most women hate. And getting the timing on being drowsy only at night is usually difficult. Estrogen deficiency is also a cause of anxiety. Some womankind that increasing their estrogen is all they need to alleviate their anxiety. And anyone an take progesterone if she wants to. It's only required if you have your uterus. But, like everything else, it has both benefits AND risks. And one of the risks of progesterone is that it increases your risk of breast cancer more than if you took estrogen alone. You are always free to manage your menopause any way you find most beneficial FOR YOU. The key is to listen to your body to discover what is most beneficial FOR YOU. Most women spend much too much time listening to what everyone else is doing rather than listening to their own bodies. Your body talks to you. It will tell you when it's happy, and it will tell you when it's not.
@@MenopauseTaylor Thanks Dr. Taylor. Good info. I am trying to schedule a quick 15 min-30 min consult with you sometime this week because I got some lab work done that I would like to discuss with you. I was hoping to talk to you by Wed or Thurs(even Fri). Will that be possible? I tried to set up a consult on the website but it wouldn't let me do anything but 1 hr, 2 hrs or hrs.
You sound a lot like me. I have been taking .5 estradoil for three months. I have suffered with insomnia and anxiety for over a year. I'm in perimenopause. I don't have a uterus and I'm on 100mg progesterone (prometrium) to help my sleep. Are you still on progesterone? If not did you find the dose with estrogen to help your sleep and anxiety?
Good, informative video. So much to learn during this time. I've heard the bigger abdomen referred to as "menopot." All these years I'd wondered why my arms had gotten vein-y. (Silly me thought it was because of doing lots of strength training.) Just have to accept it, and I refuse to cover them up.
This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. I cannot tailor things specifically to you in a comment box. It requires much more information than you can give me here, and you deserve much more information than I can give you here. No two women are alike, and addressing your situation requires tailoring all the facts specifically to YOU. I do them all via online video conferencing. You can schedule at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I look forward to meeting you and helping you.
I'm a slim person and have been on HRT for 5 years. Lately I've noticed more abdominal fat even though I've maintained my weight. I thought HRT would keep the fat from depositing in the abdomen. Am I wrong?
The weight gain issue is one of the biggest misconceptions about menopause. Think about it: All the years of your reproductive life, when you still have estrogen on board, you don't have a weight problem. But when you LOSE your estrogen, you gain weight. So, it's the loss of estrogen that is to blame. It's Mother Nature's fault. And it happens because loss of estrogen slows down your metabolism and causes you to deposit fat in your belly area. All the years of your reproductive life you had "bloating" due to temporary water weight that was a result of fluctuating hormones, most significant just before your period started. Now, in your post-menopausal life, you'll have actual weight gain that is due to permanent fat accumulation as a result of estrogen loss. Don't confuse bloating with weight gain. HRT cannot make you gain weight. Menopause itself can (and does). Women make the grave mistake of deciding to quit HRT because they blame it for their weight gain. It's completely backward. HRT will help you avoid weight gain, not contribute to it. But the dosages of estrogen in HRT are not nearly as high as what your own body used to make. So, even with HRTm you'll notice some weight gain, mostly in your abdominal region.
Sometimes. this goofy TH-cam platform makes it impossible to get to aa question. I can see that you posted it. But, when I click on it, I cannot see the entire question, and I cannot find it to answer it. Can you please re-state the entire question? As you can see, I was able to get to this one. And I answer every question every day. I would never ignore your question. I look forward to answering it for you.
Hi dr barbie... Great information. Menopause causes trunk obesity due to estrone. That's true But my question is how that is applied to u. U have a 28 inch waist, glowly skin, black hairs such sharp nd witty mind nd u have been menopausal fr more than 20 years. What's ur secret. Pls 🙏🙏 pls make a vedio on that.
Pooja A female friend of mine is 54 and her grey hair is almost unnoticeable (she does not dye it); in contrast, her brothers already had some grey hair when they were about twenty years old. Her brain is extremely sharp, her waist is about 56 cm (22 inches), I believe, but she is a shapely petite lady as well as a very fit one, which probably helps in the waist department. She complains (of course!) that the waist used to be 52 cm ;-) Doctor Taylor is in a league of her own but there is hope for us, ordinary mortals too :-)
I'm all in for making it stop sagging...wink! Great tutorial as always, thank you! The only good thing we have at menopause is MT! Barbara would you ever consider doing one subscriber name shout out at the end of each video that some TH-camrs do. It's a sort of honourable mention/badge for your most loyal subs, It adds a nice personal touch for us. A different sub/name each time obv. Dem x
Aida, I cover all the material in units. There is no way I can give you everything in a single video. I promise that, if you start at video 1 and watch them al in order, you will understand everything and get all the answers to all your questions. If you want a shortcut, schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. In a consultation, I can address everything all at once and tailor it all specifically to YOU.
Great videos love learning the hard truth lol I thought I was Perry but now I’m told I’m post menopause. I’ve been on birth control for most of my life. I think that helps shrinking my ovaries and making me into early post menopause. I’m only 47 I got my men belly at 46 how do I get rid of it? I think just upped my estrogen patch to 1 mg and I know it’s still not enough my level was 47 last month on 0.075.
It sounds like you haven't started with video #1 and watched all my videos in order. That's the only way you'll understand (because this is a real education). If you want a shortcut, schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME.That way, I can give you the education AND tailor it all specifically to YOU. I do them all online.
One giant bummer. I hope the next video will be on how to manage all this decline, preferably without hormones. I don't want to slow down. My lazybutt husband does enough of that for both of us :( So if I drink pots of coffee, buy industrial strength tweezers, buckets of retin A, do 5 billion sit ups, several hours of daily yoga, mega mental puzzles to stave off granny brain, and sew my mouth shut I can survive what's coming? Sigh.... Maybe having to buy lots of tampons isn't so bad. I've just started perimenopause and my hair is already turning to straw.
Susan, Menopause really should be the greatest time of your life. There is absolutely no reason that any woman has to be miserable. The problem is that most women have absolutely no education on how to make it wonderful. If you really want to improve your entire future menopausal life, you should schedule a one-on-one consultation with me. I will teach you everything, tailor it all to YOU, and really help you improve everything. No video is customized just for you. The consultations are. I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works: 1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you. The document will be loooooong. Most are 25 - 30 pages. 4) I will send you the document by email at least 24 hours before your consultation. You will benefit greatly by reading it in advance. That's all coming, and I've already covered some of it in previous videos. The only way you're going to get the information you need is to do one of the following: (1) Schedule a one-on-one consultation with me, in which I'll give you the whole education AND tailor all the information specifically to YOU. (2) Watch the whole education on my seminar DVD available at MenopauseTaylor.ME (3) Watch the whole education as chapter-by-chapter webinars (in order) (4) Get my book & read it (5) Watch all my videos, in order, beginning with the very first one and continue to do so for a few years to come. (That's how long it will take to get the entire education with one video each week!) I've created every educational tool in every format for your benefit, regardless of your timeline, learning stye, or budget. There's no way I can tell you in a single video how to fix everything. I can't even do that in dozens of videos. But I do precisely that in consultations, the seminar DVD, the webinars, and my book. Menopause should be the best time of your life. But that's only possible with a complete education that enables you to make it that way. That's what I can do for you in a consultation. I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works: 1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you.
Oh, my dear Giovana, you really need to have a consultation with me. Noting is about what I think or anyone else thinks other than YOU. In a consultation, I'll give you al the facts, tailor them all to you, and help you weigh your benefits and risks. Please give yourself the education you deserve on this. The mere fact that you're asking anyone what THEY think is a problem. You should have the education to come to a decision on your own. I'll spend the time making sure you get it. I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. Well, it doesn't really "grow." It's just that your breasts consist of a lot of fat. And as we age, we gain more fat. And some of that fat deposits in the breast. But instead of being perky sexy breast enlargement, it's mostly more sagging. But your bra size will increase.
A waist measurement of 35 inches does not equal to 63.5 cm. 63.5cm waist measurement is very desirable. It's actually size S or size 2. I wish I have it. 35 inch waist is around size 14 to 16.
Dear dr Taylor, there is a little mistake in waist measurement of 35 inches, which equals about 88 cm while in Your video it shows 63.5 cm, which in fact equals 25 inches. I hope I’m correct?
@@MenopauseTaylor thank You for confirmation as I was a bit confused but don’t worry, we are all only humans, who makes mistakes. You have a wonderful knowledge about hormones and health in general, which hugely exceeds average people’s knowledge. I’m grateful for all Your hard work to educate other women about menopause! I just would like to add that I’m from UK and here they say that maximum healthy waist measurement for women is 80 cm (approx 31.5 inches), so it’s interesting that it varies so much, isn’t it?
Jut so you know I left a voice mail and mail to schedule a mini consultation with you. BTW That nut job doctor tried to call my husband to talk him out of letting me use HRT LOL! After I said I would not go back! Anyway I hope to talk to you soon!
I’m on hrt (oestrogen, testosterone and dhea) and I have all of those symptoms! Last bloods showed relative hormonal levels to be good. Is it because I am now 2 years post menopausal? Or something else potentially?

Yes. It stays confined to your vagina, and has no risks at all ... despite the fact that the FDA refuses to stop including the huge pamphlet that scares you to death. It's entirely inaccurate.
Jumped around a bit and have concluded, unfortunately, that I am too late for the safe use of ERT. It was offered, but the fear of breast cancer, based on my family history, was just too great. Otherwise, I have had a healthy lifestyle overall, or mostly, all my life. I especially value your lifestyle, food and supplement recommendations. Thank you for everything. You are a very special person and your website and videos are invaluable for all women.
I do not push or prescribe anything. That's how you know that I am telling you the whole truth about everything. It is much easier to lose belly fat if you take HRT. The very reason you gain it is because you LOSE your hormones. If you want personalized information on this, schedule a one-on-one consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME.
Menopause Taylor I have an appointment with my gynecologist. I am going to ask her about HRT based on the long term benefits and the fact that I agree with you that it is not natural to be in natural menopause. I hate the extra weight, alcohol cravings, hot flashes, night sweats and insomnia! Thank you for your education and all of this great information.
Nooooo! Don't do that. She'll shut the door in your face. Have the consultation with me FIRST. I'll save you in ways you can't possibly imagine. Please, please don't proceed without a consultation with me first (unless you have time to watch each and every one of my 143 videos in order beforehand. Can you comment on a substitute for HRT. I loved HRT however I had cancer that was estrogen fed. Thus my oncologist said no more hormones. Some days when I am with my friend who wears estrogen patches, I want to rip it off her and slap it on. I swear I crave estrogen. Is there any help for women in my position?
You have many options. However, they are not something I can present in any single video. I will be giving you options in every category for each and every symptom and disease associated with menopause. But it will take years to get all that information from these videos. Your situation is one that is ideally suited for a one-on-one consultation. That way, I can tailor everything specifically to YOU and YOUR symptoms. Afterwards, you'll know all your options in all the categories, as well as all the advantages and disadvantages of each. So, there isn't just one substitute for HRT. There are many. And deciding which ones are right for YOU requires the personalization that I can give you only in a consultation. The same thing that causes your hair to fall out on your head: Hormone shifts. Hair has 3 phases: (1) The growing phase (2) The resting phase (3) The falling out phase Most of the time, you have hairs in each of these phases. And because you have all three things going on, you perceive no change in your hair. Any hormonal event can synchronize hairs so that there are more hairs in one of these phases. That’s why you hear pregnant women say, “My hair is getting so thick,” or “My hair is getting thin.” It’s also why some women notice a change in their hair, like hair that gets straighter or more curly. Whenever there’s a noticeable change in your hair, it’s because there are more hairs than normal in one phase or another. Menopause commonly causes hair loss. Many women even notice a male balding pattern. Some have severe thinning. And it is directly due to estrogen loss. So, taking estrogen can definitely increase hair growth. That’s true whether the estrogen is systemic or topical. Most women need MORE estrogen, not less. Menopause, by definition, means LOSS of estrogen.
Yeah your right about being surprised and having your eyes opened. I'm not sure how you can deceive so many people and still sleep at night. I think you know what I'm talking about.
Why can't our books grow. I lost 100lbs, most in boobs and butt. Went from nice solid C's to Barely B's..... Grey hair started showing up when I was a teenager. Mom was grey by 30 I've got no figure. PCOS meant I've always been fluffy....i did manage to lose 100lbs slowly with diet and exercise over several years....ovarian cyst and girl parts helped shed another 9lbs...... No confidence ( at work where I can't say anything)....just tired of being everyone's useful idiot....use me and abuse me. Loving the education.
Oh, Jeanette, this is so sad. I hope you know that your are harder on yourself than others are. I can tell by your comments that you are a very impressive and strong woman. Please believe in yourself.
I'm sorry. I'm not trying to depress you. I'm making sure you have the education you need in order to turn your negatives into positives. The biggest problem with regard to menopause is that most women have their heads stuck in the same. They have no education at all. And they have no idea how to manage their menopause in a way that can make the rest of their life the best of their life. So this education is precisely what it takes to be able to do that. Knowledge is power, even if it includes some things you don't want to hear. I will be giving you plenty of options for managing each and every thing YOUR way.
You talk so cheerfully and charmingly about negative things like menopause.. that I still have some hope about it :)
Stick with me, my dear. I'll make sure you love your menopause.
It sounds very depressing. I hope encouraging video is coming. Thank you for all information.
I also hope the same video soon, it is horrible to be under so much information about terrible things...
If you do want everything all tat once, you should:
(1) Schedule a one-on-one consultation with me in which I CAAN cover earthing (both good & bad), & tailor it all to you, along with all your options for managing it.
(2) Get the DVD of the entire seminar at MenopauseTaylor.ME
(3) Get the chapter-by-chapter webinars of the entire education (and watch them in order)
(4) Get my book & read it
(5) Watch these once-a-week videos in order starting with the very first one and continue doing so for the next few years.
I understand, Paola. Thank you for your comment.
@@MenopauseTaylor You are an amazing person!! Thanks for your understanding!
Another good one ! Thanks , Dr . Taylor. I recommend you to every woman I know. Thank you for your dedication to getting this information out .
You are so welcome, Charlotte. I love making these videos for you and having consultations with women to tailor everything specifically to to each one. It's what you deserve.
Another great video! Seems I always write that...but it’s true! I am getting smarter and smarter. Thank you!
Yes, you are, my dear. You are already quite a smart cookie!
You are a Jewel 💎 Thank you for all you do!!!
Well, thank you so much, my dear. You are so welcome.
Emily,
You might want to have a consultation with me to address your situation so that I can tailor everything specifically to YOU. You need to know how to work with any professional, and I can tell you how to go about that.
\I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works:
1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you.
HRT causes cancer!!! Don't take it
Try to keep yourself healthy.
Thank you, Juliane.
Yoga is not of the lord jesus christ. No one she do yoga.. read up on it.
Many Christians do Yoga without spiritual harm. However,I believe that Kundalini should be avoided.
Merci du Québec, tellement instructif et utile, vous êtes un cadeau, une fidèle auditrice!
This was more great info and it explains why I now have a bigger waist. Boool. I am looking forward to the good part of this menopause! Thanks 🙏
Don't worry. There are multiple solutions for everything, You just have to know all the pros and cons of each.
Your skin is beautiful 😻
You are so very kind. Thank you.
Love this explanation.it has been so very helpful.
That's my goal ... to make sure you understand everything.
I was diagnosed with alopecia as I am in the peri menopause phase. I will be contacting you soon.
Please do. I can help you a lot.
I was having numerous peri menopause symptoms, went to a medical herbalist. Best advice ever given was to take a daily capsule of blended cod liver oil & evening primrose. Sorted. That pic is me at age 60.
You're beautiful!
*MENOPOWER* !💋 growth in self confidence 💋
Exactly! And you're learning how valuable it is.
Started HRT 4 days ago hoping will help still the insomnia, fatigue is really killing me and yes im 2 yrs post menopause having loss of interest in sex
@@Lynn22823 You are so very welcome, my dear.
I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works:
1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you.
Thanks, Dr. I should be ok with the hair situation then!
There's no way to know. For some women, hair loss is temporary. For others, it's permanent or progressive. If you want me to help you with all the different options for preventing hair loss, schedule a consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I won't get to hair loss videos for a loooooong time.
Love this series. Thank you Dr. Taylor.
Well, I love providing it for you. Thank you for letting me know that I'm doing a good job for you.
Hi Dr. Barbie, I have always had larger breasts; however, they have grown considerably in menopause. Mind you, I have gained some weight but not in proportion to how much my breasts have grown. Is this common?
Is there anything good and positive during menopause ☹️?
There's a bunch of great stuff about menopause. But, you can only achieve it with education.
There will be videos on everything. I an trying to teach you the reality of what happens at menopause. I will give you options in every category for managing all these things any way you wish.
But denial does you no good. Knowledge is power. And not all knowledge is what you want to hear.
There is no way I can give you everything in a single video. It's just not possible.
If you do want everything all at once, you should:
(1) Schedule a one-on-one consultation with me in which I CAAN cover earthing (both good & bad), & tailor it all to you, along with all your options for managing it.
(2) Get the DVD of the entire seminar at MenopauseTaylor.ME
(3) Get the chapter-by-chapter webinars of the entire education (and watch them in order)
(4) Get my book & read it
(5) Watch these once-a-week videos in order starting with the very first one and continue doing so for the next few years.
I have created every educational tool to serve your needs, regardless of your timeline, learning style or budget.
So, hold tight. There will always be both good & bad.
Hell yeah 😂The best health advice I've been given was from a medical herbalist. Been taking a blend of cod liver oil & evening primrose for just on 20 years, no adverse menopausal symptoms.
No!#_$(#$*
Yes you are still alive! Look above the waves and the mirror sisters! 😻
No periods.
You are so welcome, Pinky. I think you've always been a very strong woman.
@@MenopauseTaylor Thank you and you are a very strong woman also!
Yeah, I guess I am.
@@MenopauseTaylor I actually dont have whiskers I have that peach fuz you talked about so much of it but its bloxnde so nobody notices thank God I hate waxing!

Such fantastic information!!!!! Thank you.
I love your attitude. Education is power. I can tell the tie will be very successful in your menopause management.
I'll save for a consultation if you do.
xo~linda
Love the knowledge from Taylor
hello!! great info!! reading your book love it
fasting every 17 hours between healthy meals and light walking everyday, keeps my belly flat actually losing weight, fasting every 12 hours or so from 10pm till next day 2 3 pm keeps my belly under control and more energy over all
Thank you so very much for sharing this great info.
You are so very welcome. It's my pleasure.
Can you prescribe meds with your private consultations or do we have to follow up with another doctor?
Following
I'd love to know the answer to this question as well!
MOA INK me too.
How do I get rid of the belly fat safely? Estradiol, exercise and diet? Testosterone effects?
Tammy,
You need a consultation for this.
Thank you ,Dr .Taylor
You are so very welcome!
Anything good happens?
I'll post it again and hope it comes through-

You can email Ioana at ioana.odeh@kubisinteractive.com. She'll help you get scheduled.
I have a feeling your arms are beautiful. I'm super veiny!
Thank you again I'm learning so much .
Thank you , what happens if you get estrogen supplements
Think about it:
All the years of your reproductive life, when you still have estrogen on board, you don't have a weight problem.
@@MenopauseTaylor Thank you for getting back to me so promptly. Glad to have that clarified.
Just don' make the mistake of stopping HRT because of weight gain. The trade-offs are much more severe, and it will only make your weight gain worse.
Dr. Taylor, I asked a question a couple of days ago and you may have missed it. Very curious about your thoughts on the progesterone. Thanks!
Sometimes. this goofy TH-cam platform makes it impossible to get to aa question.
That's true
But my question is how that is applied to u. U have a 28 inch waist, glowly skin, black hairs such sharp nd witty mind nd u have been menopausal fr more than 20 years. What's ur secret. Pls 🙏🙏 pls make a vedio on that.
Pooja Suri yes !!! I would like to see this too!
Me 2
Pooja A female friend of mine is 54 and her grey hair is almost unnoticeable (she does not dye it); in contrast, her brothers already had some grey hair when they were about twenty years old. Her brain is extremely sharp, her waist is about 56 cm (22 inches), I believe, but she is a shapely petite lady as well as a very fit one, which probably helps in the waist department. She complains (of course!) that the waist used to be 52 cm ;-)
Doctor Taylor is in a league of her own but there is hope for us, ordinary mortals too :-)
That would be great....but I’m sure with no response......no video😔.
Dr. Taylor has been on Estrogen since her early 30ties
I'm all in for making it stop sagging...wink!

If you just starting menopause what is HRT I am ashamed to ask but I don’t know 🤷♀️
It sounds like you haven't started with video #1 and watched all my videos in order. That's the only way you'll understand (because this is a real education).

That's all coming, and I've already covered some of it in previous videos. The only way you're going to get the information you need is to do one of the following:
(1) Schedule a one-on-one consultation with me, in which I'll give you the whole education AND tailor all the information specifically to YOU.

Thank you dottor Taylor for your information. My mom died for breast cancer, do you think it is a good reasons not to do the hrt?
Oh, my dear Giovana, you really need to have a consultation with me. Noting is about what I think or anyone else thinks other than YOU. In a consultation, I'll give you al the facts, tailor them all to you, and help you weigh your benefits and risks.
Please give yourself the education you deserve on this. The mere fact that you're asking anyone what THEY think is a problem. You should have the education to come to a decision on your own. I'll spend the time making sure you get it.
I'm in the business of educating you about everything you need to know and do in order to get exactly what you want for managing your menopause your way. So, here's how a consultation works:
1) You would schedule a one-on-one consultation at my website, MenopauseTaylor.ME, choosing a time that is convenient for you.
Why does the chest grow? Various of us have noticed this.
Well, it doesn't really "grow." It's just that your breasts consist of a lot of fat. And as we age, we gain more fat. And some of that fat deposits in the breast. But instead of being perky sexy breast enlargement, it's mostly more sagging. But your bra size will increase.
Thank you
It's my pleasure.
You are correct. I made a huge faux pas. 35 cm is 88.9 cm.
@@Kitty-go1rq Yes, it is. And the U.K. has a healthier standard.

@@MenopauseTaylor Thank you!
I’m on hrt (oestrogen, testosterone and dhea) and I have all of those symptoms! Last bloods showed relative hormonal levels to be good. Is it because I am now 2 years post menopausal? Or something else potentially?
Something else. You really should schedule a one-on-one consultation with me. I can pinpoint precisely what the problem is if you do.

I’m taking vaginal estrogen 2x a week. Is it safe?
Yes. It stays confined to your vagina, and has no risks at all ... despite the fact that the FDA refuses to stop including the huge pamphlet that scares you to death. It's entirely inaccurate.
Mine caused over estrogen n i gre a polyp in my uterus wall i had to stop it to heal

Menopause Taylor thank you! I feel so much better!
Great vid, thank you! Just one detail: 35inches=89cm.
Yes, please pardon my huge error! I think I was a bit menopausal when I said that.
I wish i had your energy!
Ha! Everybody tells me that. I really don't know what they mean.
Is it easier to lose (and keep off) the belly fat if you go on HRT? Do you prescribe HRT with your one on one consultation?
I do not push or prescribe anything. That's how you know that I am telling you the whole truth about everything.
It is much easier to lose belly fat if you take HRT. The very reason you gain it is because you LOSE your hormones.
If you want personalized information on this, schedule a one-on-one consultation with me at MenopauseTaylor.ME.
@@MenopauseTaylor I can cofirm that. My belly fat popped out of nowhere. It's crazy.

(I teach you how to "play the game" in order to get what you want.)

What causes all your pubic hair to fall out at menopause?
The same thing that causes your hair to fall out on your head: Hormone shifts.
Hair has 3 phases:
(1) The growing phase
(2) The resting phase
(3) The falling out phase
Most of the time, you have hairs in each of these phases.

Why can't our books grow. I lost 100lbs, most in boobs and butt. Went from nice solid C's to Barely B's.....
Grey hair started showing up when I was a teenager. Mom was grey by 30
I've got no figure.
I’ve had no interest in sex for about 8 yrs I’m 64
This is very common with menopause. And, with this education, you understand why.
Well, this is depressing.
@@MenopauseTaylor I understand. Thanks! 😊
