Good video! One strength of the Inventor that I think you could have emphasized a little more is that it is a martial class with crowd control options. It starts at level 1 with Explode, and can later get options through feats like Megavolt and the Gadget specialist feats which means that Inventors can deal with multiple weaker enemies easier than the typical Ranger or a Barbarian.

Thanks for this. I enjoy your videos generally but your Classic Introductions are my favorite series. I am looking forward to playing an armor innovation inventor in the future. Not only does the armor innovation address the inventor's fragility, which, as you point out, is a weakness of the class, it seems to me that it should go a long way towards overcoming it entirely and even make the inventor one of the most indestructible classes, when you consider the elemental and physical resistances, by level 18 when the Negate Damage feat comes online. The cool options such as flight, swim speed and underwater breathing add situational flexibility, especially bearing in my the ease of retraining that you emphasize in the video.

Personally, I find the Armor Inventor to be the most interesting subclass! In 1e, I had a player who ran a character affectionately known as "Iron Gnome."
When the 2e Inventor was announced, I showed him & his immediate response was, "that would've been PERFECT!"

Personally, one of the archetypes I think would be fun to add to an Armor Inventor would be the Sterling Dynamo, so you have a neat weaponized prosthetic you can use alongside your innovation armor.

One of my players showed some interest for this class, so I'm gonna share this video with him.
As always, a great job explaining the class features.

I enjoy your videos very much. They are very approachable and informative. One suggestion - rethink the reverse color, italics for the text. It is difficult to read. Think about your viewers who may have accessibility needs. Just a small suggestion. Your content is excellent. Thanks.
