yeah michigans graffiti scene is beautiful! love my hometown! killer ass random bridge spots and abandos . thanks for coming out and showing respect to our scene
REO Motor Works bordered by Washington, Baker, & Cedar street ......Ransom Eli Olds .... Oldsmobile..... Your in MI gotta know your auto history. REO speedwagon.
Yo! You still in lansing? I did some of the work at the tower(we call it Frankenstein's castle). If you are still around id love to show ya some more spots n paint. Killer video as always. Thanks for shinning some light on us.
You should check out Grand Rapids! They got some stuff around. Live about 30 away from GR and I always see some stuff by the freeways. Not much but more than most other places in west Michigan. Edit: There is also a train yard that runs along side 131 in Grand Rapids and always has tons of cars filled with graff
That tower hill has alot of poisonous plants...everytime im there i get allergic reactions...almost in the air there i swear its airborne poison ivy lol to climb that would be great i wonder if a punk hobo lives up there
@@TheGraffitiWanderer Nice man, I was just up in Duluth working for a few weeks. There's a ton of spots up there as well. They made the Graveyard a little harder to get to now. Holler if you make back again, it would be rad to go bench with you, got a couch you could crash on too if you were trying save some loot! ✌
wow that first spot looks so sick. wish the train lines were like that around here. are you gonna be doing some more travelling? i like these looks into random place.s
I'm surprised you didn't shoot the murals that were painted on the bridges that go over the River Trail and the ones painted on the embankments for the 127 overpasses on Michigan Avenue. There's also a sweet mural that is being painted on a parking garage on Albert Street in East Lansing. If you ever get back up this way, you should check those spots out. Just an FYI, those areas are all sponsored by the respective cities and are sanctioned art projects. But worth a look nonetheless. Still, I like that you recorded some artwork from my area, much appreciated!
Mind if I ask you how you found this video? It was uploaded a year ago and in only the past couple days it’s been getting a ton of views and comments. I’m curious how all of a sudden people are just seeing this now? Thanks for watching tho ✌🏻🙏🏻
@@TheGraffitiWanderer I saw it in my recommendations youtube is strange and puts stuff out at the most random times. I clicked on the video because I go to lansing everyday im actually about to leave now lmao.
Would you have the same appreciation for these "artists" if they spray painted tacky shit all over your house and vehicle? I'm betting that you wouldn't. There's no doubt that they have artistic talent and I do appreciate that, however, what they're doing is vandalism and that's it. Perhaps they have the permission from a few of the property owners, but I doubt it's many.
Some of the pieces, like the one on Louie's Party Store, were sanctioned. There's actually quite a bit of sanctioned art in the area. Yes some of it was done illegally, but to be honest, most of the illegal art was done on abandoned buildings anyways. So what are you really gonna do? 🤷♂️

I’ve seen SEW in other cities
Always so nice to see a city that likes their art! Looks like the artists get along too and share a lot of styles. Pretty cool. Thanks for the walk!

sanctioned street art =/= graffiti. It's obvious why this individual didn't check those out.
@Sam deBourbon some of what he featured in this video is also sanctioned street art. I should know, being from this area
Disk is pretty tight
So Eufoe owns Lansing, eh?
