Only dudes like you will appreciate this story. I was born in 1970 in LA. Started writing in 84 when I was 14. I was raised on Style Wars and Subway art. So ….one day in 88 …this girl I know stops by my apartment. She says “I brought a friend I want you to meet”…and standing there is Duster UA. We all hung out and smoked a joint. Duster loved our crew and insisted that we were all officially members of United Artists. Him and my crew mate..BaBa did a wall together. If you Google it…there’s pics. I’ve met tons of celebrities and I could care less about any of em. But meeting Duster.. was one of the only times I’ve ever been starstruck. Ya know….for the record….Seen….was the first king of LA. He hit LA in 83. He bombed the Hollywood sign (ridiculous epic) and did the famous “dial M for murder” mural. After that other NY writers (sharp and brim) hit the Venice breakwater wall. Those all had a huge influence on LA graf. 🙏
