Wow ,you make Huntsville sound as nice as I remember it was when our family moved there in 1964 . My dad got transfered there from Santa Clara California to work at Brown engineering. Named after the ceo Warner von Braun. In 65 my dad bought a house in Hazeland estates area . I think that was the name of the subdivision. Anyway it was on Lauderdale street. Unfortunately when Neil Armstrong landed on the moon the aerospace industry took a dive and we had to move. The only concern I have about the South in general is if racism has been eliminated completely. Back in the 60s the kkk had parades downtown.
I do research on a variety of subjects. Before you relocate Educated yourself about. The State you want to move to. Ask Google about the disadvantage of moving to Alabama , Alaska , California , Florida, Georgia , Hawaii and etc.
