  • Full blog post: www.gelliarts.blogspot.com. Incorporating words into Gelli Arts® printing is easy and fun! But, it's also very easy to forget that when you are printing WORDS and letters in paint on a Gelli Arts® plate... that they will print in reverse! This video shares two easy techniques for making your Gelli Arts® printed 'words' more reader-friendly! These are subtractive methods - meaning paint will be removed to create the letters.

I hope this isn't a silly question, but anyway here goes: I'm not very good at lettering by hand. So I wonder if there is such a thing as "reverse" rubber alphabet stamps, where you press the stamp down, and the stamped letter is backwards. Then when you press your paper or fabric down on the stamped letter and lift it up, it comes out the right way. Is it clear what I mean? And is there such a thing? If anybody knows, please tell me. Thanks.

Why not leave the adhesive on the back of the letters and apply Removable Glue Dots to them and then stick them to a glass block that's used for cling rubber stamps instead of craft foam? That way the letters can be wiped off and reused over and over again to form other words. I'm going to try doing it that way to avoid wasting letters and craft foam.
