Answer from Miss USA was so straight-forward. She even knew how to link the answer with her quote in swimsuit round and the way she emphasized "The time is now" was goosebumps. All other girls also had good answers, probably the most impressive Top 5 ever

I think USA and DR nailed it. They both have delivered an impactful message with confidence and charisma. PR and Venezuela’s answers sounded like the typical rehearsed answers: “Following our dreams and passion, we can achieve everything bla bla bla“ . All of them were absolutely stunning and gorgeous, that is my opinion.
Miss USA's quiet confidence. Her hands on her hips, the way she strutted, the way she made eye contact, the way she made those beads on her dress sway, the way she clapped when Miss PR walked to answer her question, the way her shoulders where upright. I mean at this point in the competition you have to pay attention to the details. Not to mention that tactically, she stood out from the other ladies. From she being the only woman with her hair slicked back in a bun...ready for the crown to how she wore an entirely different color dress with the sexy cut outs.

there was really only one choice. the dominican republic blew them all away. puerto rico and curacao next.

One beautiful quality of miss USA is her smiling aura.. She has enjoyed each moment during the contest. Even during final questions and answers too... She has not forget to be happy and to smile. Apart from her stunning intelligence, she is really charming when she smiles.

This was the best performance from a Miss USA delegate since Shandi Finnessy in my opinion ( and yes I think R'Bonney did better than Olivia Culpo) she was so effortless and confident on stage. I can definitely see why she won. Clearly she was the right pick for Miss USA as well. I hope those sour contestants who said that the pageant was rigged, feel really silly now.

No doubt USA, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico were always good. NOT MEMORIZED, NOT TEMPLATED, all authentic.
I think Puerto Rico should have replaced Venezuela. She answered the question better. R’Bonney was always my choice to win. She is beautiful, gracious, intelligent, and so many other things. She epitomizes everything that Miss Universe stands for.
The only replace the judges should have made with Venezuela was giving her the Miss universe title instead of usa.
She passed her time limit which should of disqualified her answer so miss USA should never have been winner also she isn't prettier then Dominican or Venezuela.

Miss USA is just mesmerizing. And when she opens her mouth to answer the questions with her witty confidence. It’s just undeniable that she’s Miss Universe. The other girls are like used car models next to this Queen.
Well, I wasn't going to say a word, but you jumped on the other girls, so here I go. First, USA answered a very easy question, one that any person who has been paying attention to pageant nowadays knows how to answer. She is a 28 year old women, of course, she was going to say that with passion. She didn't deliver a great answer though. Her question was a gift from the judges. On the other hand, PR and Venezuela had more difficult, and almost confusing and stupid questions, and they did a better job. DR was outstanding. Only Curazao could've delivered a better answer. And, I'm sorry to say this, but USA is the less good looking in that group.

That more than 50 candidates have to work very hard trying to learn another language so that the judges can understand them, but the USA always has the advantage that it will be in their own language. If we want everything to be fair, ALL contestants must learn another language and not speak in their original one or ALL judges understand all languages and so candidates can participate without using any translator. As a foreign speaker, you have no idea how many times I get asked something and I'm not 100% sure if I understood. If you speak English well, you may notice that it is difficult for her to pronounce some words well, and before you tell me that the others did not ask for a translator, review her biography and you will see that they has lived more than half of their life in the USA, therefore English is their best language.
@@Lcantillo3Correct Latinas entering the pageant must learn English .But using an interpreter gives them the advantage of more time to think and in the past interpreters elaborated on the question for the contestant to better understand it

I do not know who won yet; but just watching this episode of the Top 5 Questions I thought the following contestants answered beautifully, 1. USA, 2. Puerto Rico, 3., Dominican Republic. If DM added what she as can do as Ms. Universe to her answer she would have nailed it. My thoughts...only, no bashing please, lol.
I think PR doesnt answer that well, she should be ranked as 4th place

@Conrad Hernandez, Philippines figuratively literally won too from R'Bonney herself who acknowledged her Filipino roots and the support of the Filipinos all over the world that tremendously inspired her. She acknowledged how the Filipino cheers inside the pageant venue lifted her spirits up. She has a huge Filipino fan base starting when she won the Ms Texas USA and Ms USA. Her Filipino fans were behind her when there were issues hurled against her by Ms Montana and her camp on the Ms USA pageant. She was all over the news in the Philippines then both in print and media. She was interviewed by the local networks. She was further trained by a team of Filipino and her gowns were made by the Filipino designers during the Ms Universe pageant. The social media engagements and interactions such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TH-cam, TikTok, etc. promoting her were mostly made by the Filipino fans . Even here in TH-cam, the channel owners uploading videos of her and celebrating her success are 90% Filipino fans.
It couldn't be questioned why the Filipinos feel a sense of affinity and kinship, and pride because of the huge support they threw to R'Bonney. After Celeste lost that broke a lot of Filipino hearts, they threw all their support to R'Bonney. But even before it, R'Booney really already captured the hearts of the Filipino. Who cannot love someone who is so smart and hardworking yet with such a very down to earth personality. She and her family regularly visit the Philippines and she even planned of putting up a sewing academy in the Philippines.
Perhaps the good karma is just paying back to the USA for being welcoming of everyone with multicultural and diverse backgrounds. Today's crown gives USA the 10th Ms Universe crown and puts her as top 1 country in the ranking with most wins. If Ms USA organization disqualified R'Bonney then, she wouldn't have competed in the Ms Universe. R'Bonney is truly destined to be Ms Universe. The struggles and challenges she faced in her pageant journey were just part of her success story.
The common denominator of these 5 candidates is the Spanish blood. Curacao was colonized by Spain for 286 years, Puerto Rico for over 400 years, Venezuela for 299 years, Dominican Republic for 303 years, and the Philippines for 333 years. Ms USA is half-Filipino and the Philippines was the lone country in Asia colonized by Spain. Philippines derived its name from King Philip II of Spain. The Spaniards occupied the Philippine territory and conquered the islands except the Muslims and indigenous tribes.
By such blood, one thing common among these countries is also having passion for beauty and the arts, and love for dances and music with various fiestas and festivals they share. Another is also having close-knit families. Like the Latins, the Filipinos have close family ties. Ms. R'Bonney of USA has a huge Gabriel clan in Manila, Philippines on her paternal side.

The Q&A was "Tell me the time u felt shame & how u turned that feeling in to fuel"? she answered " I actually have press conference which is called forbidden dream which taught about forbidden dream when I wanted to became a fashion designer. Because I felt shame about it. It didn't feel it was possible for me the sustain my life but I pursued it....... May be u could explain it to me what's "forbidden dream" she was talking about?
The crucial factor is not the language used, but rather the substance of the response and its relevance to the question at hand

Venezuela and USA gave the most coherent answers absolutely. but however, I suppose DR , PR and Curaçao they did a great work on stage.
Honestly, USA and DR had the best answers - precise and details. Venezuela and PR's felt a bit rehearsed and lack of precision. PR's answer in her national competition was much better. That night I wanted PR to win, but the entire night USA proved herself as a winner.
After hearing Mise USA’s answer i immediately knew she will be the next miss universe

I finally listened to this. The questions still are not the same, how can you make comparison? Different questions means different difficulties, it's about luck in getting the easier question. Also why they can still hear each others answer? It seemed to me that the candidates after Rbonnie took some of her answers such as the NOW.

I know right lol. I think what they do is that they have these coaches that teaches them public speaking and how to answer certain questions. i think they discuss all types of topics. and when they go to the finale and they need to answer questions they can take an example of what they have learned and tweak it if necessary so the question is correctly answered. i'm guessing

hmmmm… Venezuela didn’t answer the question properly in my opinion. how is pursuing a fashion career forbidden and shameful? it didn’t quite make sense to the question. it felt forced and rehearsed.

@@renekyu3140 Because in the country where she is from, it is not common to choose a career in fashion design because, as she said, it is difficult to sustain economical if you don't do very well and it tends to be a reason for criticism from your parents for not choosing a career that It is within the canons that they aspire to.

Just because they both discussed the need to believe in oneself it doesn't make an answer similar to the other. Both Harnaaz and Ashley answered uniquely but with the powerful diction that highlights the type of women the MU organization is looking for.
Dominican Republic and USA slayed this round.

R’bonney is a combination of Pia & Catriona. Pia was bashed and not strongly supported by fans before & after she won Miss U. Cat worked so hard & had an authentic advocacy but some fans still bashed her.

She was way superior than Pia and Catriona. R'Bonney trained by herself, she had no camp, and she made all decisions by herself.

Miss USA been establishing herself of being a leader in her community, her advocacy is beyond 12 years in a making helping victims of abused to get back to their feet thats why she is way late in pageantry...Also, for those latinas and haters out there that cannot accept saying fraud/scam etc. We understand your fraustrations next time please send someone from your country with a real aunthentic advocacy, been a leader that contribute to your community not just making up when entering a pageant and do not bring an interpreter just to be able to have time to think but venezuela can understand and asnwer it in english...is that not cheating infront of our face?
