Even though Philippines didn’t place any top spot for the 1st time in a decade, her historic win for both USA and Philippine communities made a much bigger significance. Fittingly queen of the universe and truly iconic as she now has become the 1st Ms. Universe in this new era and she admittedly represented both the East and the West. She wasn't my first choice but that's how pageants go, right? Once she stepped on the stage in that shimmering evening gown (that she designed herself), I knew that she had clenched the title. She was also very articulate with her answers to the final questions. Congratulations Miss Universe! 💖

Her gown starting from competing in Ms. Texas, Ms. USA and to Ms. Universe was designed by a FILIPINO designer Sir Rian Fernandez. And her costume in the Ms. Universe was also made by a Filipino designer Patrick Isorena.

This was the best performance from a Miss USA delegate since Shandi Finnessy in my opinion ( and yes I think R'Bonney did better than Olivia Culpo) she was so effortless and confident on stage. I can definitely see why she won. Clearly, she was the right pick for Miss USA as well. I hope those sour contestants who accused her of cheating and said that the pageant was rigged, feel really silly now.

I agree to increase the age for MU because if they are too young women just starting in life to discover what will be there platform to support plus they are changing the MU system and they prefer a woman who could lead, inspire and transform. @@aribear889 her last Q&A was not specific and detailed, very generic whereas Rbonney was detailed. Also Miss V acted childish with her walk singing and dancing. Rbonney walk was very regal. It's not just the beauty that counts. Why do you think some African candidates won? Some of them are not pretty. And it bothers everyone why V had an interpreter, she can undersrand and speak English. Why? so she had time to think before answering. That's cheating.
