All three delivered strong answers but USA gave the best answer because she was able to articulate her experiences and incorporate this year's theme "Transformational Leader " and "Force For Good" in her response. This reminds me of Pia in 2015 when she said "Confidently Beautiful With A Heart".

Miss Dominican Republic gave a wonderful answer but the delivery is so dry that it held very little impact . Whereas Miss USA conviction and delivery is perfect .

Miss usa took longer and by not answering on time that makes your answer incomplete and therefor disqualifies you and those are the rules. So the fact that miss USA answer wasn't all that great and went longer then expected means she shouldn't of won also she isn't the prettiest.
I’m Venezuelan and the first time I was so disappointed about the miss universe selection, but after I rewatched this video I agree that the USA had the solid best answer of the final question. I’m still so proud of my Amanda. The best candidate that we ever had in years 🫶😍.

Amanda was one of the most beautiful there. I loved her too. I also loved curaçao and was especially rooting for her, but she got nervous and failed. But when I read the answers in text, you an search it in google, usa really did have the better answer. Especially when you see it written out.
@Fernandez1672, Venezuela always wins Miss Universe. That is a lot to say about the beauty of the women in your country. However this time, USA had a more concrete response in actually how she is going to be on the job. Miss Venezuela’s answer showed her as a follower of other Miss Universe winners. Miss Dominican Republic on the other hand showed some activism, or a slight combative nature sort of style in her answer. Both Spanish speaking women could have answered in their own native language, but would still have the same idea in their answers. So it is not a question on language.
At least Venezuela won the most Miss International. 8 times 👑
Those three women blew me away with their answers. Each of them demonstrated grace and passion with answers. Congrats to all three ladies.

While the responses from the other contestants were more vague and broad, Miss USA uses factual evidence, real life examples, and personal experiences to convey her message. Her message was easy to understand, visualize, and memorable. Congratulations to a well deserved winner.
And she speaks with clarity. She has a pleasant voice which reflects her beauty. The other 2 finalists - in my opinion - did not have a pleasant voice.

While they were conversing, the producer asked me to also join the pageant. I’m not into pageantry so I told him “no”. But I was flattered that he asked me to join.

Yes, Miss Venezuela was lovely. But, why did she get an interpreter when in fact she speaks English very fluently? She wanted to take advantage of the time to think about the answer. It's unfair to other contestants.
Miss U.S.A didn't answer the question in a mere word and claiming to be a person what the Universe are looking for but simply telling and informing the Universe that she has been doing and living being a woman of influence and been leading and empowering others. Congratulation USA. Honestly R'bonney deserves it. She had something to prove and she did it. I saw a interview of one of the judges and they said they were told to find a person who is Elegant, Transformative and someone who practices what they speak, and thats what R'bonney does. R'bonney has been practing what she speaks for 13 years, she been helping and teaching people for 13 years. As latina I'm not gonna lie I was kind of sad a latina didn't win but also confused why USA won but looking back on how R'bonney answered and how she performed the whole competition I understood. We can not deny that R'bonney did not deserve this.

Miss USA won fair and square. She has a solid, realistic advocacies which she has started when she was 15 years old. She’s not preachy, dramatic and sentimental with her response to the question, she responded with conviction and sincerity.

I don’t get why people (especially in Venezuela) show disrespect to miss USA that much, they’re spicy because of the result for no reason. MISS USA clearly have the BEST ANSWERS out of top5 and top3. SHE DESERVES THE CROWN. Her answers were the most realistic out of them and she delivered it with power, confidence that no one have. She mentioned the “age increase” with solid reasons and transformational leadership that really gained points.
We know that miss Vene and DR are really beautiful and smart women too, but their answers were a little bit vague and lack confidence somehow, for example how can you “design your dreams”?. I think a part of our audience chose their fav contestants based on their beauty and performances, but forget that Miss Universe not only a beauty queen, but also a SPOKESPERSON that can inspire many other women, and Miss USA have all of that. We should support Miss USA and all other contestants, not dragging down any of them like this.

USA: Owned every round and that answer, you can tell they're all hers. She walked the talk. Venezuela: Consistent but very pageant patty. I mean, you can't "design" dreams for other people, since dreams are unique to all of us. Dominican Republic: Stunning face, but the answer was pretty generic, heard it all before.
Miss USA had already memorized her answer about being a fashion designer, she beat around the bush prolonging it and in the end, she came up with a very short closure. I already knew she was going to be chosen for the crown to miss Universe this year because it had been 10 long years since they had crowned Miss USA. All 3 finalists are very pretty.

The other two just said what they PLAN TO DO (basically promises of things we -as an audience- want to hear). Miss USA's answer held more weight and the judges (and I'm sure the viewers too) were able to visualize her work without sounding too generic.

I’m from Colombia and I cannot deny Miss USA had the stronger answers of all, venezuela in fact gave the weakest answers but she earned through out the competition that second place. If it was all about the answers I would give DR the second spot.

At the backstage after the pageant ended, Miss Universe and the owner were talking about the color of the crown, and Miss Universe stated - something to the effect - that’s why she chose her gown to have the color of the crown. Then the owner responded, “You’re visionary.” And the Miss Universe winner is visionary indeed!
Her answer reminded me of both Pia AND Cat’s. Not only did she used the MUO’s new taglines, but she tied her answer with her life experiences like Cat did. She wasn’t my favorite to win, but I’m glad she did.

USA gave the best answer, there’s more depth and descriptiveness. She was able to prove in her statement what she has already accomplished and done. While Venezuela only stated what she is planning to do. Describing actions you already have done speaks louder than words used to make promises. The judges are smart to distinguish this and for picking the right person to represent Miss Universe’s core values.
USA spoke persuasively in her native language. Venezuela 🇻🇪 and Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 spoke passionately and with palpable emotion in their second language.
Be objective and fair. Also, the final answer was one of many factors. In the beauty, style, personality, and authenticity department - Venezuela and Dominican Republic, as well as Curaçao and Puerto Rico had USA beaten.

First of all Miss Venezula understands english perfectly well. She used an intrepter to buy her extra time in thinking up her answer, which still fell short of how extrodinary Miss USA's answer was. Secondly, who dances across the stage like a dork at the final walk? You are lucky Venezuela got 1st runner up. She might have been Miss Universe if she didn't make the mistake of trying to boogie on her final walk. R'Bonney was perfection and if you watch her being interviewed later that night, her impeccable speaking skills proved she was the winner. Now quit being a whiney loser and be happy your girl got 1st runner up. That means she was better than 83 other women. Still a great accomplishment.

Miss USA literally deserves the title Ms. Universe. Even though she went a little beyond the time limit, her answer is the smartest and the most on-point. Although Ms. Venezuela and Ms. Dominican Republic are also truly gorgeous women, their answers are too general and too common. Ms. USA's answer delved into specifics and you cannot beat that even if she overtimed a little bit.
They didn't come from English speaking advantage so they are at a disadvantage in this segment...

Miss USA should try to answer in Spanish to see if she has the same fluency and depth. Also it is a beauty contest, if they want to measure intelligence, there are plenty of different tests to do so but here beauty is what matters first. Also, she used up more than required time. That shows she did not prepare well for the question either. She obviously would speak more concisely because it is her language.

Based on what I gather, I think because the owners and organizers are new (ex. the owner is a transgender woman), they were looking for an answer that screams, "I'm not stuck in the past! I'm here to shake things up."
So from what got out of the 3 answers was:
Domican Republic: Generic answer. Kinda forgettable.
USA: Very impactful. Actually listed how she has done it and how she would continue do it. Quotable.
Venezuela: I personally thought stating how Miss Universe has always done it was a mistake. She was quotable towards the end.
The DR and Venezuela representatives are not from English speaking countries...they can only be so articulate in their speech.

I was there front row seats and we all knew USA was gonna win. Her Gown, Her poise, Her unbeatable answer, her real life background made her snag that crown. It just so happens that the entire country of Venezuela was at the convention center which is why they couldn’t accept their lost. In fact, Ms Puerto Rico gave a better answer than Venezuela. Also, i feel bad for Ms Curacao, although she made it to top 5 she was the most gorgeous of them all as in so stunning I couldn’t believe my eyes. Congrats to Miss USA, it was a well deserved win and she will do so great as Ms Universe.

Miss USA been establishing herself of being a leader in her community, her advocacy is beyond 12 years in a making helping victims of abused to get back to their feet thats why she is way late in pageantry...Also, for those latinas and haters out there that cannot accept saying fraud/scam etc. We understand your fraustrations next time please send someone from your country with a real aunthentic advocacy, been a leader that contribute to your community not just making up when entering a pageant and do not bring an interpreter just to be able to have time to think but venezuela can understand and asnwer it in english...is that not cheating infront of our face? miss dominican republic and miss venezuela both had the same answer to the question. both emphasize in general what the miss universe organization is exactly all about. on the contrary miss usa translates a vision to her experience. she brought her life experience and uses two particular words transformational leader what exactly the owner is looking for and force for good that is the symbol of the crown.
anyone can say i am an initiative person, a decisive, leader, with analytical thinking ability, and an excellent negotiator but the question is how can you demonstrate that. it can only show through life experience or work experience. the two, miss venezuela and miss dom rep excludes their work experience.

what a difficult choice, but for me, USA is a fair winner, she is more complete. She responses the best. Venezuela was a queen but her answer was too vague for me. Empowering women is make them feel strong, worthy and capable to reach any goal, and miss USA answer was complete, she talked about actions and that's what the question was searching for. I'm latino, I love Venezuela and Dominican Republic, please don't get me wrong, but USA deserves it.

Miss USA was eloquent and had concrete actions that she would execute as Miss Universe. Venezuela's response was vague and sounded much like an answer she memorized, and she did not answer the question with facts and a plan of action. When it comes to the speech and public speaking skills, USA absolutely dominated the Q&A section. Also, USA talked about the importance of community, which the other 2 didn't mention and that reflects how USA is a Queen for our community and the other 2 potentially wanted this more as a personal triumph. The 3 women were beautiful, but Venezuela's body language seemed very elaborated and technical, and she lacked charisma and warmth. DR and USA felt more natural and genuine. Congratulations to all the contestants for making it to this pageant. And yes, USA absolutely deserved it after giving the answer she gave.

Si hablaras Inglés hubieras entendido lo que respondieron cada una de las 3 candidatas. El speech que dio Miss USA fue excelente. Mejor dicho 30 segundos que tardo en contestar la pregunta fue suficiente para que se coronara reina. La Miss Venezuela nunca respondió que es lo que ella haría para empoderar a la organización. Solo dijo, yo soy diseñadora de sueños, nunca dijo que haría para diseñar sueños de otros. Si entendieran Inglés y supieran entender lo que dijeron las 3 candidatas, estoy segura que entenderían porque la Miss USA fue la Miss Universo.
