- Hey everyone and welcome back to Iowa Classic Cars! Today we stopped by Easy Jack & Sons junkyard in Junction City, KS where there are over 500 old classics waiting to be saved or parted out! This classic car junkyard is one of few that still remain on the scale that it is, and is definitely worth a trip to in order to walk through it or look for those trim pieces you're missing! So many people are upset with me for not pricing stuff....i said in the video exactly how to get ahold of the guys and a quick google search pulls up a phone number. I have had more mean emails because i cant price this guys cars so i think this was a wakeup call for me. I give the information to get prices, and people keep asking me. lol sorry im not upset with you by any means. but this was silly of me to give the info out
We had a 1980 chevette...leaked oil so bad by the end it was getting fresh top off oil every week. After 3 floors and a couple carpets, we figured that 4 cyl had around 250k miles and was still running on its last day
Like the way you young guys are into the early stuff. Here in Australia the young ones are into the rice burners. Love watching these wrecking yard clips. 👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺

10:47 The little green car is a 75 to 78 Pontiac Astre which is the twin to the Chevy Vega. It's the first one that I've seen in years.

That is awsome , thanks for sharing . it would have been almost impossible to have been brought up in the muscle car era , and not be a lover of classic cars . The 59 chevy impala is my favorite . It is great to see guys age with a love for the classics .

3:08 -1963 Imperial, so proud it had 2 eagle emblems, 1 in the center of the grill and 1 as a hood ornament flying right above. Epic!

That car you thought was a Fox-body Mustang was a 1984 Dodge Daytona. Sergeant Dee Dee McCall drove one on the television show, "Hunter".

The first car on the left of what you said were the Oldsmobiles, looks like a 68 or a 69 Chevelle. The rear 1/4 window doesn't look Oldsmobile ish. I could be wrong. It looks like a 2 dr. Post or a 2 door sedan. Same thing.
Great Tour Man! I would take the Plymouth Savoy home with me ...... just have a couple of ideas on what to do with it .....😂😂😂 then seeing her so abandoned in the bushes ..... reminds me of something ....🤔

Keep an eye out for a 1970 or 71 or 72 ford custom or Galaxie police cars,1972 polara police car also the green one was a polara 72 but it was equipped with hideaway lights,any of the police cars will say 140 certified on the Polaris but on the ford's it will say 140 certified calibration it will be on the speedometer thank you for your time young man really enjoyed the video very much looking for the other videos

The 59 2 door impala would make a great donor for the one that pulled apart on you a while back...that had the VIN, if you catch my drift...;) A shame the 61 bubbletop had the side cut off..So hard to find a decent 61 bubbletop project at a reasonable price

White Ford Fairlane sedan from '68 showed its tail-feathers maybe 2/3s through the video. Wish I could have seen more of that one. Four-door? Hard-top convertible? No way to know. I owned a gold four-door in the 80s with a great-running 302 in it. Miss that car. Always wanted a fast-back two-door. Fat chance now, haha. - Bep.

You were extremely close to me and even closer to a friend who has around the same amount of cars. Just south of Manhattan.
I need to get out there and cut up that 59 2-door hardtop. It has a decent package tray. A shame that he won't let it leave because I know where another 2-door hardtop is that is too far gone up in Nebraska.
Next time you are down in Kansas around my area, let me know and i will take you to a friend of mine's yard. His stuff isn't picked over as easy Jack's place is.

That was not a shoebox Ford. 52 was the last year for the shoebox. That Ford was a 56 ford.

I always thought the 64 Chevrolet wagons were an ugly design compared to the sedans. Not that the average people who bought them off the dealer lots new probably cared. I think more than anything, it's that rectangle tail lamp that really mars the design in general.

Please, please dont say DERBY GUYS when your walking through what is equal to an Automotive Church. If the Derby guys cared they'd be using modern crap. Let the cars die with dignity , if they cant be restored. And remember this you yourself like 4 doors like I do. So I'm very sensitive to 4 door comments. You still have one of the best channels on youtube.
Whet sickens me are the DERBY GUYS who destroy beautiful and rare cars. I recently saw a derby with 4 Edsels and 3 Continental Mark Vs. All were decent restorable classics If you must demo cars, pull them out of junkyards. A relative sold a pristine ‘67 Riviera only to see it in the derby at the county fair a few weeks later. It made us both very sick.
