Very nice video. I had recently learned that an ancestor from Austria had emigrated to Pepin around 1870. Looks like he picked a nice spot to start a new life.
I live in Minneapolis now but grew up a few miles down the road from Pepin in Maiden Rock. Let me know if you’d like a tour of some of the odd events that happened there in the 1970s. Also, my cousin owns the Third Base Bar in Pepin.
