Thank you, Walking Minnesota...Awesome video....I know many of those streets well...really loved seeing Nicollet Mall. After moving from St. Paul, I lived on Minneapolis for about 7 years and worked at Dayton's Department Store.

Recently moved to the south and I miss Minnesota so much! :(

I'm so confused by these roads. One sign said no turns but there was a Do Not Enter sign in front of that so where do you go??? Another sign said not to turn onto the tracks but there was only room for one car and I didn't see a One Way sign so how are both cars supposed to fit? Can anyone please explain?

OK, this was the first video of yours that I encountered, and then I discovered all the rest of your channel. Whoh! I am SUPER psyched. It'll fill me with nostalgia and make me homesick for sure, but THANK YOU. These vids will often be on as my background scenery in my studio.

Excellent! Thank you. It's was fabulous to see the plaque dedicated to the life and work of Grant Hart, followed by the Violent Femmes playing at the Palace Theatre, representing my scene and era, nice! I moved far away from there 8 years ago, and miss much of the people, cultures, and places. I knew Downtown St.Paul intimately, and appreciated the stroll. And if you're in Lowertown again, please stroll on through the old and beautifully renovated and operating Union Depot ( 240 Kellogg Boulevard East). And a stroll through the skyways would be cool too. There are many entry points throughout Downtown to see the cool interiors of those older buildings too.

I think the bike lane will go under the bridge to connect to Boom Island park on the south side of the bridge in the future. That's probably why it stops abruptly like that. It does look funky like that. Otherwise, wow, they did a great job on this new park, and on the West River Parkway trail extension on the other side of the river. Big improvements for the area that really make good use of the riverside as a resource. I love it!

I love your videos of Minneapolis particularly, but I often wonder where everyone is when you're walking around. It seems like I should often see more people milling about but seldom do I see sizeable crowds in these videos. Maybe because Minneapolis is so spread out and has so many different places to go? Either way, never been but want to visit soon and have always wished to live there. Thank you!

It's great having this recreational & transportation bicycle expressway in the middle of the city. Whoever saved this corridor had great foresight. But also with the B Line aBRT coming on Lake St. next year, there will be better-than-before biking in a great commercial district/corridor, so people can shop & do errands by bike, too. Having an expressway to get distant places quickly, but also a local, slower biking option is the best of both worlds. P.S. You captured the Mpls fall vibe perfectly. Great video!
