Richfield, Minnesota Bike Tour 🚲 October 14, 2024
Today I explored some of the bike infrastructure in Richfield, Minnesota.
I start at Taft Park and then head up Richfield parkway before riding west on 66th street. I got a little distracted and rode over to Richfield lake park and woodlake nature center before taking 66th back to Penn Ave, where I head south until I caught the bike lane on 76th street all the way back to cedar Ave where I headed north and back to Taft park.
I hope you enjoy the video, I apologize for the camera coming off the mount and if it is shaky at times.

Take a walk in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA Today we are walking in Mill Ruins Park under the stone arch bridge near downtown Minneapolis. While walking through the park I realized it might be closed and I missed the sign 🤦. The police down there didn’t say anything though, so maybe it was fine. Take a look at the website before you go, just in case: www.minneapolisparks.org/parks-destinations/pa...

Jordan is about 40 minutes from central Minneapolis, making this an easy day trip from the twin cities. They advertise the orchard as “twin cities,...

I wish you would go into the animal buildings and actually talk to some of the kids. Cows don't bite and pigs don't charge. Did you describe a boar as an Eunuch? Yes, Hyland Park is in St Paul, not Bloomington. Do you even care about being accurate?
I walked through the animal buildings more in my other video there! Unit! Not eunuch 🤣 Highland park is the neighborhood in Saint Paul Hyland park is a nature area and ski hill in Bloomington Yes I do value being accurate. Ty for your thoughts and feedback. Sincerely appreciated 🙏
Brrr! 😅
Cold but great! Can’t wait for this year
Merry Christmas 🎄 and happy new year 🎆🎈 2025

Thanks for a wonderful video tonight, sorry I was not around to say goodnight when you signed off-air. Mark: 1:17 **Mickey Crimmons and Bert Mattson opened Mickey's Diner in 1939...this diner never changed its location** (as stated on google) Mickey's Dining Car is a classic diner in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Diner was listed on the **National Register of Historic Places in 1983** for having local significance in the themes of architecture and commerce. It was nominated for being "a beloved, longstanding and unique social institution," an unaltered example of railroad car-style diners, and one of the few surviving examples of its type in the American Midwest.
Thanks for the information and thanks for chatting with me
the biggest mall of the world is in dubai.. not usa
I believe it
I remember walking around Minneapolis and was in love with the city, one of the cleanest cities in usa!
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by, I checked out your channel and you’ve got some nice videos from really cool places. Looking forward to following along in the future
Babydoll and Grandma Lu thank you for your coverage of the marathon.
I saw our Bubba towards the end of the race in your video.
Awesome!!!
The uptown area had a few spots of outdoor eating.guaint.😊I lived there a few years.
Yeah, lots of rooftops iirc, yeah?
Jessica Minneapolis and Fabien from France 🇫🇷 I’m never forget you 😢happy story with bad ending ( this is the life ) 🙏❤️ bye
Are you walking downtown with your phone camera. Good thing you didn't come across the wrong person. I live just 15 minutes from downtown mpls it's off the hooked i don't go downtown very much ❤
If you like and subscribe

Tim, this tour was great! You took me places I hadn't seen. North Loop is so much more developed since I worked DT ten years ago. I was lost. I'm old enough to remember the surface parking lot that is now Target Field. I have sent so many to your channel when they post (w/ no actual knowledge) that Mpls. is destroyed. 🙄 Uh, no. It's not. Our city is beautiful ❣️ Btw, I love Duluth, too. My sister's family lived in Cloquet and a couple of her kids live there or in Duluth. I LOVE Lake Superior and want my ashes spread along the North Shore. When the time comes. 🥴 Lutsen Sea Villas was an annual vacation destination.
chciken
You just randomly came up on my feed! I'm in Elk River, and I'm enjoying your walk!
We got one month of summer left let’s enjoy the heat 😌
IS THAT A CAT ZONE?!??

One decade was murderapolis to Turdapolis, development condos for cakeeaters n sec8 Bud lite freaks,, beside 1st Ave venue maybe stone arch bridge mpls pure turd now, freaks, roaches, turds comes out at night,,weak politicians n brain dead gen, MPLS mini Chicago wanna be n doin a good job, South Chicago u betcha!
You did a great job with this video about the wonderful city of Duluth. I haven't been there for 4or 5 years so I'll have to make my way up there. Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you! Thanks for watching. I haven’t made it up this year and I’m missing it
I am a new subscriber, I just found your channel last Friday, I love what you’re doing it’s great I lived in Roseville in the 90’s and worked in downtown Minneapolis till 2003, I loved that place back then, it sure has changed and not for the better unfortunately. But keep you the great videos and stay safe out there, I just watched the “Mississippi queen” video it was great as well, also watch the “Sunday football” video as well.
Thanks so much! Hopefully things can get back to something as good as people remember it as
One of the many things about Minneapolis is we have a lot of parks , walking trails and hiking trail. Also there is so much more to explore in Minneapolis
Top tier park system! I love it
I'm a bit surprised the flyover passing U.S. Bank Stadium wasn't captured.
I started recording during the 3rd quarter of the football game iirc
The reason parks are so plentiful and high-quality throughout the cities and the metro at large is that we have one of only 2 metropolitan park councils in the US (the second being Portland, Oregon). They coordinate their efforts across 10 agencies and hundreds, if not thousands of employees to give communities something special. I love how close to nature I can be in the cities.
100% Our parks are incredible and I am so grateful of the foresight of the early Minneapolissers who set the city and parks system up to be enjoyed by the public!
When does fall begin in Minnesota?
Should be any day now. I believe the colors have started changing in northern mn already
Fun fact: Mall of America stands on the site of Metropolitan Stadium, the former home of the Twins (Major League Baseball) and Vikings (NFL). It hosted the 1965 MLB All-Star Game, the 1965 World Series and the 1969, 1973, 1974 and 1976 NFL/NFC Championship Games. Plus, it hosted professional wrestling bouts from the Minnesota based American Wrestling Association, which is owned by Verne Gagne (R.I.P.) and the 1975 NFC Divisional Playoff Game between the Vikings and Dallas Cowboys in which Roger Staubach of the Cowboys threw his now-iconic "Hail Mary" pass. BTW MOA served as the host to the pilot episode of WCW Monday Nitro in 1995 as well as You're Invited to Mary-Kate and Ashley's Mall Party in 1997.
Thanks for sharing! Love all the fun facts!
@@walkingminnesotaNo problem.
This reminds me of a BAD DREAM
Yeah, I can see that. Wandering through a liminal space can feel that way
Очень красивый город.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it
Have you done a video of the North Loop Green now it's complete?
No, I walked by there on a stream recently but I should be able to record a video of it next week during a lunch break or something
Feel better. Thanks for the night video!
Thanks! Almost 100% again. Hopefully tomorrow
Wish you had gone up to First Ave and shown the stars on the wall. Think maybe you're out there too early. You want to see the nightlife you can't go before 11pm. Still, good to see my old stomping ground. A lot has changed and a lot has stayed the same!
Yeah! Those are so cool! I’ve shown them a handful of times but they have a place in every downtown MPLS video.
Was at the concert playing @ First Ave tonight, driving was a cluster. Hope you had a good night!!
Awesome! Hope it was a great concert! Love that venue
Minnesota represent!!! I'm about an hour west of the cities
This city is nothing to be proud about.
There we go 🙌
Right when the video starts. The building on the left with the parking garages. I've washed the outsides of those windows from a bosuns chair and a dozen other buildings in MPLS back in the 90s
So cool! Thanks for sharing, always love hearing your stories.
Good to see the parts of MSP that don’t burn during the tampon Tim blm riots!
What construction are they doing?
They are changing the traffic patterns and adding a bus lane I think? I want to say I put it in the description Here is the latest update (which I have not read): content.govdelivery.com/accounts/MPLS/bulletins/3b54b34
👍
Ty
Beautiful place 😮
Yeah! I loved it!
Watching this stuck inside with Covid, wishing I could walk around my neighborhood 😭
Glad to be able to get you experiencing it in some way. Hope you’re feeling better now
I thoroughly enjoyed this video
Thank you! Love to hear it
Thanks so much, I used to walk this every day and it seemed so far away now...until I can walk it again, with this. Even some of the same people from 6 years ago. Much appreciated, a blessing
Love to hear that! Thank you!
Jaskolski Springs
I’m unsure what that is
Wow! Uptown has sure changed from when I lived there. Looks like the Apple store and CB2 are no longer there, along with Caribou Coffee on the corner of Lake & Hennepin. Chino Latino was an awesome place to go for a drink and some great dishes, but it looks like it is no longer there either. Thank you for sharing this post! 🙂
