I too stayed with my grandparents on weekends growing up . We never missed Hee Haw on Saturday nights. I sure miss my grandparents and watching that show with them.
Still in Orlando !!! O the good ole days!!!!
Used to watch this every Saturday night with my parents. Love this show. I like how they blended skits and music and you had the biggest stars on it. It was just awesome. There will never be another one like it.
"Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes" by George Jones. Do you know if he's clOse family-kin to Grandpa, like son or grandson, perhaps?
I remember watching this with my Grandma McKim as well as wrestling, and Duke of Hazard. I loved my Grandma, and miss her everyday.
I really miss this show. Use to watch it with my mama and daddy and uncle.
aww, did you watch it with your mama and daddy lil baby?
I was already in my mid-thirties when this show was on. Brings back alot of memories.

Wow, Conway Twitty, John Anderson, and Gerry Clower on one Hee Haw show along with Hee Haw Honeys Victoria Hallman and Diana Goodman. Great show!!
This was real, and so was the music! What a great time!
This was right around when I got into this great show. 1980-1987 .. and broke my heart when Gordie passed that year.
It’s really cool to see the old commercials again.
The song Conway Twitty sang is so sadly true of many married couples today. When they say I do, they really did, but at some point, they don't.
I agree been there, I did but she don’t !
Dad told me about this show, and how he used to watch it. I’m 20, and watch one of these on TH-cam every now and again! They’re awesome
I’m 52 as kid I watched this with my grandparents I touched the tv and popped with flyswatter
Life is full of surprises ,day to day activities seems to steal the reality of musical greatness .
Conway Twitty is a prime example what a great performer .
Here one day and gone the next and all we have are memories
RIP Conway
You were the King
I loved this show I always watched it with my dad miss you Dad so much😢
I like John Andersons singing voice.
The year I was born. I can remember watching this show with my Grandma, and how head over heels she was for old Conway. He sure was a Mac Daddy.
I wonder if kids today will have memories like these when they are 42?
I wish the ladies still looked and dressed like the girls did them. That hair and outfits is smoking Hot.
Saw Conway in 1983 in merriville , Indiana. Fantastic !
Was it at Holiday star?
@@Heavymetalpunk yes 1983
@@SuperBeachbum74 I saw a lot of bands and comedians there
@@Heavymetalpunk saw a lot of people there myself, Eddie Rabbitt, Donna Summer, George Benson, Tanya Tucjer, Lee Greenwood, the righteous bros. Jeffrey Osborne , Gary Schandling, Jerry Seinfeld, Kool And the Gang, Sylvia, Reba Macintire , Dion, Gary Morris, Johnny Mathis, Patrice Rushen, Randy Crawford, Oak Ridge Boys , probably more !
@@SuperBeachbum74 for me it was Bob Dylan, Cheap Trick, Warrant, Kansas, Damn Yankees, Jackyl, George Carlin, Sam Kinison, Rich Hall, Lynch Mob, Enuff Z’Nuff, etc. too bad the place is torn down
THANK YOU GOD for letting me grow up in the times i did !! i'm so thankful for that
Watched every Saturday with my grandparents. Good times
Wish they had kept the commercials from the actual time of the show rather than putting in ones from 20+ yrs later.
I loved growing up watching HeeHaw. Great show.
This was on at my grandma and grandpa's house every Saturday. Thanks to them when I saw Peter Griffin introduce Conway Twitty, I got the joke!
Yep things changed this was prime time,! Good ole memories
Wish there were more of these shows from the 1982-83 season floating around:)
My favorite TV show of all time. I hated it when they cancelled it.
Great times . Makes me sad, too. So many people have passed.
Am I the only one that thinks the Wright brothers look like they should be outlaws and one of those old westerns?
Boy i sure wish they would bring back hee Haw 🤠
I was born in the late 90s. I have no idea how I got here, but I’m glad I did
Good times growing up in South Florida, I am very lucky.
Seen John many times Im from Kissimmee Fl. Now Bocephus lives next door to me Paris Tennessee

Whose great grandparents watch Lawrence welck. Mine did every Sunday I think it was on.
My mother STILL watches LW.
Always liked heehaw
...glad to hear you liked the show; I often wondered if the gals weren't turned off by the corny humour ...
I grew up watching Hee Haw , used to love going and watching it with my Grandparents when I was little . Watching this now brings back so many good memories .
Watched this every week with my dad. He was an old school country fan. I'm named after Teresa brewer, if that's any indication. We watched Barbara mandrel and the mandrel sisters too.
What a tremendous year for music: John Williams scored "E.T.", Jerry Goldsmith scored "Poltergeist", Vangelis, "Blade Runner" Ennio Morricone "The Thing"... and then there was this.
When Hollywood was great
Really brings back memories!!
ALWAY'S LOVED THE HEEHAW
conway Twitty was so handsome
... Handsome ... I'm not seeing it ; I used to watch this show for the comedy skits , so to be fair , it wasn't the Female singers that made any impression on me, either...
... I was a Shallow Hal - the music 🎶 parts went over my head , and down my back like water going over the back of a duck ...
Oh yes...the women loved the "Twitty bird"!
My dad loved this show.I didn’t get it when I was a kid,but I do now (like so many things).
reliving my childhood via youtube, wish I could be a time traveler back to the 70's -80's

I was just a swing'n by the end of my rope, that's when I figured that was enough. That's when she pulled the Plug and said, it's time for tea. 🤔
Man, what a cast on a variety show!
Yes we always watched Hee Haw coming on. Mainly staying with grand folks windows open in summer an wood stove in front room in winter.😅❤

Family night in front of the t.v. on Saturday night growing up watching this
We watched on Sunday live krcr 1969 aired on Sunday June 15 th fact was nine years old ,at first we thought it was silly like a cartoon but then my family kept watching and liked the show.
... it is too sad for me to watch the shows going into the 1980's- the folks were aging badly and dont have the same Pep in their step - wish they would have cancelled the show earlier...
So as sat there stairing @ this tea of Red, thats when I said...
Gloom Despair , my favorite one
Love, love, love!!!!!! thank you!!!!!
Man I miss when CMT showed great shows and music instead of garbage reality shows

Watch every day until we go to bed
Love it❤
They get FLUSHED and so do you
Real. Country. Music. It. Was. Fun. We. Are. Getting. Older
I'm not a country music fan, but we need HeeHaw to come back to melt the minds of snowflakes
I like Roy Clark and buck owns.
They are wonderful singers
I love the way they sing too.
Show ads eating the hee haw show time
70 i was Carson city CA yeeeee 40 years old staying My mother in law and my father,9 siblings
I am ready to take much of the great and good older TV shows from the 60's, 70's, some of the 80's as well.
Country got better in mid 60's with Glen Campbell, Waylon, Bobby Bare, Crystal Gayle, Dolly Parton, Charley Pride...still around was Eddy Arnold, and others.
It was good show
I Like To Say : It's A Real Nice Show Of HEE HAW
It's Like Between Green Acres
, Petite Coat Junction .
HEE HAW Is Quite More Entertaining
It's Real Country Life Good .
I was 18 yo and finding other things to do but for the previous ten years I saw a lot of Hee Haw.......
No string bean announcement?
... everyone is Replaceable - a Scary thought - the Show must go on ; how howbeit... it was almost 10 years ago that Stringbean left us ...
More than 50 years ago I watched this show with my family. I hated it they all loved it, as a matter of act my nick name was cousin minnie pearl.
wow i member
Loved the short time Mackenzie Colt was on the show in '82. Figures someone sweet as her would make a splash with her chocolate business.
This show would be unshowable today because the only cast member of color is Buford the Dawg.
Nope. Charlie Pride would get more gigs. But in seriousness there are Black country arts out there.
The problem for everyone is the fact that there is no money in music. Prince and Bowie did warn us.
Here because of the Undertaker
Fadel Prairie
Loose the commercials. All they are doing is chasing viewers away.
Crawl back in your hole
As a kid this was painful to watch with my parents. They laughed at the same ole schtick every week like it was their first time seeing it. Don’t care for the show but I miss those times with my Mom and Dad.
I can tolerate the show more as an adult than the kid me.
