I greatly appreciate this video and I’m going to have to rewatch it , MPC in hand and follow through these tips on it so I don’t forget them. One thing I’ve yet to look into is controlling MPC via midi. I’d love to be able to control functions with a FCBC1010 foot controller for live looping etc while playing guitar and singing live.
Awesome man glad you like it! I'm not sure about that pedal, is it a USB midi controller? I don't think transport controls can be midi learned through usb. I think it's possible to control transport with a standard 5 pin midi device but I've never done it myself.
@@LiftedNoise It’s a midi foot controller via 5 pin midi. Be nice to be able to control mutes, scenes etc as well as transport. Maybe even record enable for looping etc. I’ll just have to get my hands dirty and try it out one day. It also has 2 assignable variable foot controllers. Maybe for delay sends or feedback. Just not sure what is midi controllable. It’s a beast to set up though so templates would be a necessity.
@@LiftedNoise Hi bro. I deleted the recorded audio track in the arrangement window with the eraser. The recorded audio track was deleted from the desired sequence and remained in others.

hey bro. what type of mic are you using? i’m using an at2020 xlr, how do you avoid getting mouth noises and stuff? also, is there a way to do vocal take punches? love your channel bro
I'm using a shure sm7b with a cloud lifter. If you check out the sounds wish list in my description it has all the gear I've used and can recommend. By mouth noises do you mean plosives and sibilance? At the time of this nothing. I figured out a work around for creating a de-esser in the MPC but now I'm using a Dbx channel strip with one built in. It's pretty great and under $200 currently. I switched out my UA Volt interface for it. And yes there is a way of doing punch ins. I'll look for the video by Chad Snow and link you. Also if you look through my livestreams there's 3 recent vids I did vocal sessions. I think in one of those I cover it but that might be a dig for you. You should join the fb vocal recording group as well.
@@LiftedNoise ahh ok, is that a dynamic microphone ? and yeah like when you say certain words you can hear your mouth like slobbering or some thing like that 😂😂 if i showed you my recordings you’d laugh bro. thank you heaps bro, have subscribed to you and will keep checking out your videos 💪
@g1beats506 one take. But I may try to do punch ins one day just to test and see how that works. I would much rather practice something to improve my ability. For example, yesterday I was messing with auto tune, and it's fun, but I would rather not make that a crutch, I'd like to practice getting my voice better at staying in key on my own.

Hi. How to mute audio track in one sequence only? Not in the whole project
@@ve4ny go into the audio track and select the waveform. There is a MUTE button on the screen. It's between REVERS and WARP.

@ve4ny that's what I do usually. I was going to suggest it but since u said mute I didn't. Glad that worked out how you wanted.
can you quickly show me plugging in mic to the back, phono jacks, and listening to your own voice while recording. where to monitor? thanks
