@prototype8137 you're not wrong about the marketing. This is the basis for how i made the pack and the information is here for anyone to use it to make their own kits. And was my intent to showcase what I did with the pack by sharing this information but I also have made videos for many years without having any packs to offer.
I hope you show people the “sample tab: random” in program/track edit. I have never heard anyone mention it and it’s crazy useful with a little bit of random pitch, level and offset. Like a value of 1-15 can go a long way. There is also a random pan section, I keep that at 0 unless I want it on a melodic sample to add a vibe
Just add the same sample to all the layers but change the slice # and make sure the layer play is set to cycle. This is on the global tab of the track edit.
@lazygambino oh OK yea definitely, this is an MPC Tutorial, I don't use maschine so I couldn't tell you if that is even a feature of it. Can you put more than 1 sample per pad?
I actually sell a set that also comes with my new drum pack ebay.to/48grc5p It's actually hard to see o guess under this lighting but my LIVE has a lot of blemishes.
I did NOT change them. I grabbed this up used when I saw the pads. I've watched the MPCSTUFF install videos and it looks a bit overwhelming to me. They don't build em like they used to. An mpc 1000, 2500, 500 ill do no problem but this...I'm sure it's doable but just a lot of screws and parts to keep track of.
Is there a way to make sure a cycle of two oneshots doesnt alter depending which hihat played last when pausing and pressing playstart? When i press play i want the first hihat to hit first but it always alters and sometimes my second layer of my half volume hat plays on the first beat or vice versa depending on which hihat hit last!! It made me stop using the cycling cuz its annoying. Is there a way to make sure when i press playstart it always plays the two hihats in the order i wanted them to be. I hate when i press play and they switch and every time i press play my pattern is different lol 😅

That’s a good idea. I usually just steal two from a groove or if I have a one shot….ill filter one or change it in some way
Exactly. I've done that as well! 🍻
Yes bro we love your tutorials forever helping out the community good vibes ✨️ 🙏
Thank You bro 🙏 always appreciate the encouragement 🍻
Genius technique with the new MPC 3.0 Cycle tool. Thanks for the tip!
Cycle has actually been around for a while. Way before 3.0 🍻

@dustyaudio ill have to look at it. Not sure i have Yet. 🤔🍻
@ maybe I’ll try to make a quick video on it and tag your channel in the title, but you will definitely reach more people with the info 🫡
Handy ! Another trick in modulation is adjusting attack , release , pitch related to the velocity . Mimics a real hat nicely .
@ good point, I only usually use the velocity to amp at about zero for my kick but I’ll try messing with the other sounds too
My guy, this is pure genius
😎🍻
Excellent technique man! Really learned a lot there and well explained! Can only wish I had an understanding of the MPC like you thanks 👍👍
@jasonsheridan5848 🙏thanks i appreciate that! I've been using MPC for a couple decades, so there's that. Keep at it! 🍻
Thank you. I was trying to get my hats to sound man made last night. This fixes my problem. I will be getting your drum kit! Dope!

I get the chop and delete part but the layers thing went over my head

@ thanks bro but that seems very MPC specific and I mainly use Maschine, but I see what you did I’m a try to put my spin on it, that technique is dope
@lazygambino oh OK yea definitely, this is an MPC Tutorial, I don't use maschine so I couldn't tell you if that is even a feature of it. Can you put more than 1 sample per pad?
@ possibly but I never tried to do that and the wording might be different from MPC, it might be possible

@@jlegitdjspider you have pad layers and cycles on that thing?
@@LiftedNoise I don’t think it can do what the mpc live 2 dose but im sure I can get pretty close
Can u do a video on drum levels and main sample on the mpc , peace lifted
I think I have an idea 🍻
You changed the pads yourself? If so , how hard was it changing em?
Definitely gonna cop that drum kit tho 👌
