Amen. No shit! Their manual sucks. I’m cannot figure out how to change from steam to Diesel on the decoder from digitrax I installed on my athearn but this video maybe my answer!!
This was a really helpful video, even if your screen is a bit screwed up. You explained it perfectly. I can’t help but ask, how do I change the bell?
The video was good at the start but towards the end it became a little confusing. Also, perhaps a good idea to put the PowerCab down and then press buttons, waving about didn't help with viewing.

How do you access the F numbers for headlight bell whistle etc?
They don’t always come at the highest setting
Can this work with any other controller like Digitrax?
How do you program lights with NCE power cab? I have Tsunami2 sound decoder and I have 1.5 micro bulbs. When I hit the headlight button and nothing happens. I even added 560ohm resistors for each bulb as suggested by soundtraxx and wired to 1.5v tab also suggested by soundtraxx. So could you please do a how to video on how to install 1.5 micro bulbs on a Tsunami2 decoder? It's on an athearn locomotive.

Dumb question of the day. My club uses NCE and I am unfamiliar with it. At 3:48 you say you hit enter and go back to the main screen. How to you go back to the main screen when programming?

How do I change to CV to make the loco stop IMMEDIATELY!? Apparently, I inadvertently changed something and my locomotive takes a long time to stop ( just like the real thing)! I don't need that much realism on my layout, and I have crashed this locomotive twice already. Could you give me some CV numbers and values to change the stopping distance to immediate stopping? Thank you in advance.
