      Yes the only stumps I have ever found stag beetles in is ash, I might read up on what else they use. Thanks for your comment. Vince

    I've been reading your book (in Swedish), and it's good to see those beautiful stacks of firewood in your woodshed on video, and not just read about it all. Inspiring!

      Thanks Simon, the wood stacks I don't have to look at every day are not so neat! And I am truly looking forward to some cooler weather and getting my fires lit again - it was 33 degrees C in the shade yesterday - great by the beach, but not for working!
