Chilli - have you thought about asking viewers to send in photos of their most unusual plants that they have grown successfully? great way for people to engage with you.
Hi from the USA 👋, Just found your channel, so the algorithm must be picking up! I too Love collecting heirloom varieties. I don't know if y'all have seed libraries there, but it's a great way to get/ exchange different heirloom varieties as well as encourage people to become a bit more self-sufficient. A quick search on the internet can give you more details. Anyway, I'm really enjoying your journey. Thanks for sharing & keep up the good work!!
@kellydowns6203 Hello! That's awesome that TH-cam is starting to share my videos 😊. I haven't heard of any seed libraries in Australia. I need to do some research. That seems like an amazing idea though! 🌿🌼
❤How wonderful to see such a young person interested in growing her own food. This 80 year young female, also originally from Tassie, has described straight away and wish you great success. I am starting today a chaos garden
I love using heirloom seeds too, and only try to use them in the garden so I can save their seeds for the next season. I love buying seeds too! You can never have too many. 😊 I also grew the Yakumo giant snowpeas this winter and they were huge and very delicious. 😍😋
I tried Straight 8 last spring here. The plants did phenomenal with lots of flowers. But none of them ever set and I got Straight 0 cukes. Could be it got too hot to fast. I even tried hand pollinating 🤷♂️
@@chillidonela my favorites are: Iron Bark pumpkin a really great pumpkin for roasting. Queensland blue pumpkin, Round Zucchini, orange Verna Tomato a great sandwich tomato, black cherry tomato, Western red carrots, purple dragon carrots, Hebrew brown onions, emerald green broad beans, Frost beans, brown seeded snake beans, popping barley, mini blue popcorn, multi colored Aztec corn, Mexican sweet corn, and many more.
@@inyayardhomestead5693 They all sound amazing! I want to try and get some coloured heirloom corn, but I don't know if it will grow here, may be too cold.
@@chillidonela Anasazi rainbow corn should grow there it's a sweet corn that likes cooler weather I grow it in late winter into early spring here in Western Australia.

Can you please share your vlogging gear? Thanks!
@AliNaqviLife I use a Sony A7iv for most of my videos. But I sometimes use an Osmo Pocket 3. Might do a more in-depth video of my gear soon.
