Alakapuri Waterfalls - Kanjirakolli || One of the best places in Kannur 😍

𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 - 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢:
Kanjirakolly (Kanjirakolli) in Kannur district is among the less explored tourist spots in Kerala. This hilly destination located in the border of Kerala and Karnataka about 4000 ft above sea level, is famous for Kanmath para, Sasipara and Alakapuri Waterfalls. Though the Alakapuri Waterfall originates in the forests of Karnataka state, it is best viewed from Kerala.
The entry timing to the waterfalls is from 9 am to 4 pm. The entry fee is Rs 20 for adults and Rs 10 for children.

The bridge was built in 1933 during British rule. After the completion of the new bridge, the Public Works Department had decided to include the old bridge in the heritage list without demolishing it.
