    Hey your stamp school has helped me a lot! I wanted to thank you. As a young male stamper I feel kinda out of place at craft groups, and even more awkward asking for help in them. I'm glad I can come here and learn things without feeling like I don't belong. The advice you give has helped me quite a bit.

Found them as I was cnanhing a bedroom into my new craft room. It's a room in progress but love it so far. Anyway, I totally forgot what I bought these brushes for and they were hidden for years. Thanks for showing me why I bought them. Think I'll use them tomorrow during my card making.

I emailed them when I put in my order because it didn't give me free shipping and he emailed me back with the correct amount needed. Thanks for all the incredible videos. I so enjoy them.

  • @LaynieFingers

    I've seen paintbrushes and makeup brushes similar to the color dusters at the Dollar Tree before. I think I may need to try out that technique on some "watercolor" panels I'm "painting" to use in notecard sets for holiday gifting. I bet the color brushing technique would give a nice vignette to the panels.
    I use quotes because for many of the panels I'm using water-based markers, some Crayola, some not. I scribble several colors that blend well together onto a plastic clipboard, then spray either the clipboard or the paper with water and schmear them together. I get different results with each... and I may try scribbling the color, then pressing my paper down and a wetting it from the back!
    I love how vibrant and complex the resulting panels are. I've also been experimenting with rubber cement to mask out portions of the panels, either to protect the clean white of the watercolor paper or to protect the vibrant patterns so I can lift the color I've put down. It's so much fun, and it's absolutely addicting!
    So thank you for sharing all of your ideas... you rock!

    Hello Lindsay, I love your videos 😊. You said that the clear stamps don't last that long😕. How long do they last? I have a lot of stamps and they are mostly clear stamps. I've been watching all your rubber stamping school videos. Thank you so much for sharing all these wonderful techniques with us. Xoxo

    • @thefrugalcrafter
      @thefrugalcrafter  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Anai Valencia Did I say that? Thet aer not as durable as rubber but if you clean and care for them properly they should last fine, Rubber udually give greater detail and a better impression but you can find good quality in both kinds. I probably said that but meant something different, no worries with your clear stamps, Just avoid alcohol based inks and cleaners for best results and longer life with the clears.

      thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich Thank you for your reply. The sites you mentioned are not familiar to me. When you shared the name of the site, I wrote it down but I can’t find it anywhere. I will keep looking. I do remember there was an L in the word and it started with a V because I remember thinking, with the V just like in my name I should remember, ha, ha, famous last words. Anyway, i hope this info helps trigger a thought, please let me know, and thank you for your help. Thank you also for sharing your beautiful work, especially your paintings.
