I'm a 'big' guy at 6'2" and 220 lbs (down feom 250 lbs) and my Lectric XPeak is arriving some time today. I live in the mountains just North of Yosemite and I intend to tear up the area like you are doing. Some of the hills are too dificult for me now, but with that electric assist they shouldn't bbe a pronlem anymore. The key, as far as I can see, is to get out on the roads and just do the work. I'm 77 years old and I'm too old to be carrying that much weight. It's coming off. Thanks for the video, and may I also suggest looking into the Carnivore Diet. It's made me lighter and healthier, which is important the older you get. Again, thanks for this video.
I didn't buy that one but I did buy a different one Fat Tire Bike and I'm in Colorado at Grand Junction I love those bikes you can get out and explore you'll have a great time
I’m a big guy .. just ordered the ST model and the first thing I’m doing is wrapping it in Real Tree Vinyl… lol .. I think it will be a great experience for me to get back in shape..I have a fat bike that I really don’t use because of the height of the bar, so I’m trying a step thru.. thanks I will keep all your viewers posted.🤙.. I’m 61 years old… hopefully this does it for me
Thanks for the video! The voltage is a better way to tell how much battery or range you have left. Just press the power button a couple times to see voltage.
That’s a good looking bike, and it looks like it does a great job. I just bought my first e-bike too, a Mooncool MC3 dual hub motor bike. I went with dual motors for hunting and climbing hills. I’m hooked.
@@thetoolguy82mine will spin a little when you initially take off, but as soon as you pick up a little speed, it stops spinning. I’ve climbed hills on mine that I would have never thought I could climb.
Thats interesting when I ordered my they told me that the rear basket is not compatible with this bike ? Can you share how did you mount it and what basket it is ?
not sure if he mentions it in the video, but its not compatible in the sense that it is believed to cause bike wobble, so personally I wouldn't install it. However, it is compatible in the sense it can be installed on the bike.
TheNineinchnails is correct. I've been told that it only really affects the step thru model but I believe Lectric is leaning to the safe side and not selling it for either model. I did not experience the wobble but that is not to say it can't happen. The basket came with my bike when I did the preorder. I no longer use it because I like the saddle bags better and they suit my needs better as well.
I bought the ZNH ebike 4 years ago and it still rides perfect with no problems. But I am looking for a NEW ebike but I simply can't decide what I want. The bikes I like do not have BMS protection and the bikes I don't like do have the BMS protection lol.....I am leaning towards the moped style ebike but I am not looking for speed. My job is only 4 miles away and I am in no hurry to get there lol........My search continues!!!
@@thetoolguy82 usually best to ignore some of these commenters. There’s some that will say how bad lectric is and talk about another bike and often is paid by that company. There’s been 3 of these people who I’ve seen on 3 different reviews but more particular on the step thru ones. It’s a bit annoying.

Thank you for watching it.
I’m a bigger guy too and I now look forward to trying out some trails. Thanks for showing me that a big guy can have fun too!! 😂
You bet!

I have so far. You even get a rebate because of where you live.

I have since added the handlebar riser and it has been a great addition.

Thank you for sharing that information.
Lectric sells an extended handlebar with USB charger built in as an accessory, I have one for my XP 3.0!
I looked it up, thank you. I wish it would hook to the onboard battery but it may still be useful.
Liked and subbed. Good ride
Thanks for the sub! I subbed back.
I thought I watched the whole thing but must have missed the "Adventure" part.
I'm sorry if you weren't satisfied with the video.

I thought about the dual motor but some people said when climbing a hill the front tire spun too much. Let me know your thoughts on yours.
