Happy New Year Blacky!!! I think this is becoming a thing when they just start replicating over and over again as a trend. I'm catching on to this now.
Hey, do you see how fast they replicated her?!?! Its like a marketing plan for fast fashion. You see it on a celebrity one day and six months to a year later you see other brands duplicating it. Oversaturating it and causing the people to get tired of it. We like Sexxy. We like her as a person at this point, you know? That's sis.......so ole girl Peggy is wasting time on the wrong gimmick. They've always done this Black speakers. Nicki from Kim. Kim from Foxy. Coi LeRaye from Left Eye. That's why music is dying. Because our eyes are open and Not buying the same thing over and over in different colors from different countries. It's crazy how they duplicated her so fast and blatantly.
Great analysis. Not a Sexyy Red fan at all, but she's entitled to be who/what she is. Even though copycat-ism is prevalent today, I don't think we're going to see MANY young ladies try and replicate Sexyy Red for the simple fact that people are going to analyze the return on investment. Even though Sexyy Red has been able to make a great living for herself, the amount of collateral damage that she's had to withstand is not for the faint of heart. And yes, she's brought most of it onto herself.
Smh… people forget “pop” in pop music stands for “popular”. It’s something EVERYONE will like. It’s meant to be that way. This “sexxy redd “ person isn’t a real “artist”. She is a caricature of an artist. She’s a companies summation of what the black public thinks is popular. They fill a gap and as a black person im glad the “media” is picking us to give us some money.
That’s why artists like Rapsody, Cordae, Little Simz and others don’t get recognition as much as these main stream artists. Despite being in the industry for many years and very very talented lyricists, their music doesn’t get push out as much as mainstream because it’s not profitable. And that’s sad.😐
Usually the timeframe is correlated with those same kids just growing up. The kids grow up fast so the artists only stay relevant for a few years unless they can identify with a core fanbase. The artists that have a main fanbase are still around and obviously aren't gimmicky trash.
America is destroying the art or skill. While other countries are embracing it again. The American entertainment industry sees money as they should ..however no loyalty to the art.
Yeah, the music over here is garbage and so are the people. Wondering why the Indians from India are taking all the jobs while we all listen to crap like Taylor Swift and Sexy Red. Innovation and art is going down the crapper in United States. Makes me want to move to Africa or Europe where they actually appreciate music and having a brain.

Young men should not be listening to that song. I use to play her songs around my bf, he does not like any of her music. I stop listening to her a few months ago, truly i only liked the drake song. But this year, I told myself I am not listening to garbage anymore. I will be mindful about everything in my life from the food I eat, what i think and say, my company (friends, family, associates) . Sexyy red being copied forsure! But Sexy red fell off is cap. She may not be the heat of discussion week by week but audience not going anywhere anytime soon
Happy New Year Blacky!!! I think this is becoming a thing when they just start replicating over and over again as a trend. I'm catching on to this now.
I’m glad you said it’s not about skin color. And Cardi B is the example of that.
The ice spice category 😂
Finally, we gettin ahead of the curve😂 thanks blacky
The music industry is basically doing the same thing like the EMO rap era
They're destroying the mindset of young girls with this crappie music....PLEASE no more "sexxy red's" lifeless music or replica
My biggest issue is the radio. Any music she makes with more and more raunchy lyrics it immediately goes to the radio.
Well I been watching but now I’m subscribed 😂 ❤
You so cute Blacky ❤❤❤
You remind me of Huey from boondocks with the great attention to detail in your points.
Happy new year Blacky!
Oh god no...PLEASE NO
can we go back to actual female MCs
💯🎯
shoutout sexyy red legit changing the rap game and we here for it
Changing the rap game? 🤨🧐🤔🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️👎🏾
Me when I lie
The artist name is Kardashhh btw
Thank you!
Bro got multiple clips of her in the video but still tryna claim he doesn't know who she is. Shi is mad weird tbh.
@@jwallace4501 I agree. Blacky be doing some off shit sometimes, this definitely one of his weirder vids
They've pimping black artists from day one!
They said the same thing about gangsta rap when it came out
And they were right……..
@@xogracemarie bro acting like the kids ain't inhaling galaxy gas, choking them selves out for a high

You just earned my subscription 👍
Don't stop making these videos. Everything you said is so true.
idk man, she got her first top10 with tyler a few wks ago. the tyler cosign alone pushes her to newer fans
Sexyy Red being discussed in 2025 wasn't on my bingo card 😭
Edit: Guys I was just shook by how she's getting replicated in 2025. SMFH 🤦♀️
She has longevity. Get used to it.
Not sure why she’s 100000 times more famous then you duhhh
@@allen9584Bruh she's more famous than you too 😂 Idk WHY y'all say this kind of stuff acting like you're any better. YOU'RE ONE OF US TOO!
@ yes she is & im not out hating on her
@@kn152-k4u my thoughts exactly 👏👏👏
That's why I love the music industry..you will be replaced & replicated
There’s been rappers like this since the 2000’s I need yall to do more research. Like this is nothing lol
Gotta be young
Thank u for keeping it real I'm for real u not hating u saying what's really going on
Her hype ?!?
She has a solid fanbase though
Usually the timeframe is correlated with those same kids just growing up. The kids grow up fast so the artists only stay relevant for a few years unless they can identify with a core fanbase. The artists that have a main fanbase are still around and obviously aren't gimmicky trash.
We need less Sexyy Reds and more SZAs in this industry
Say it LOUDER 🙏
No
Or Trina, eve queen latifah, MC lyte etc
SZA a bird who flaunts her body for attention also.
We need more doechiis
blackyspeakzz yung documentaer
America is destroying the art or skill. While other countries are embracing it again. The American entertainment industry sees money as they should ..however no loyalty to the art.
Yeah, the music over here is garbage and so are the people. Wondering why the Indians from India are taking all the jobs while we all listen to crap like Taylor Swift and Sexy Red. Innovation and art is going down the crapper in United States. Makes me want to move to Africa or Europe where they actually appreciate music and having a brain.
so they can rap about this and get signed but we can't rap about murder and street life and get signed?
It's just not cute, 🤢 leave it in 2024
The fact that you even give your time of day to give artists like this anymore exposure is part of the problem .
I was driving home from work 2 months ago and while at a stop light some dude pulled up next to me blasting that one song she has with Drake. I didn't even know Sexyy Red music appealed to the male demographic LOL we definitely in the end times.
Control my mind and thoughts, instead of letting my mind control me.
@@tayewest5675 Word, I agree fully, selfcare is key gotta put away things that are bad for your body, mind and spirit.
Just because you’re not in the main demographic doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to enjoy it. Lots of straight guys listen to Charlie XCX
@@COREIDOR I know why my man doesn't, he didnt even have to tell me. he doesn't like her music it because its about a woman promoting having a baby daddy, she has a lot of songs about being low value woman. He listens to women artist but hes not going to listen to her music or artist with similar lyrics. Why would a man want to listen to a woman who doesn't carry herself as woman. Then her lyrics arent even clever or though provoking. I am sure he listens to trash music but theres levels too it. She is def at the bottom. Then Especially with everything going on in American culture. It may not seem significant but there is a lot of evil being pushed more than good. Hopefully that changes, everyone needs to wake up and stop living in the moment for the fun and comfortability .
@@tayewest5675 That's great, that you became aware of Sexy Red music, is very toxic.
Great vid by the way✌🏾
1:11 ion kno bout no career
Just listen stop being short minded
@@lloydkirby8811 🤣🤣
damn W for speaking on these issues
Although we've seen this before, Sexxy seems more genuine with her music. She doesn't seem like she's just doing it to go viral, like this just a slightly exaggerated version of her.
I love your content bro... Your a leader within our people & our community... Keep continuing to preach your wisdom...

Been subbed since 2017 I’m pretty sure salute 💯
