really like this zelda pov where she didnt know who link is... i love how the villagers talk about link and how helpful he is. such a breath of fresh of air
Little tip: You can sleep in the bed echos to regain hearts!❤
Get off the bed after your hearts fill, then sleep again, repeat. 1 second between getting down and filling hearts, afterwards 5 seconds between each heal. Health recovery on beds are extremely slow.

If you use amiibo, scanning any link gives a red tunic, any zelda a blue tunic, and anything else, like the champions, you get a black cat costume that lets you talk to the cats around hyrule 😍
I've gotten a blue version of Zelda's starting pink dress from an Amiibo too. I forgot which one but I think it's the Sheik from Smash Brothers.

That chest in the dungeon, you use the grab funktion (x) and pull, see it kind of like ultrahand in Tears of the kingdom 😊
Your bind power (press x) is a lot more powerful than you are using it for. You can bind to everything. AND!! remember your spider in side scroll sections to reach high areas instead of trying to use trees 😊
Don't worry about the chest though, as far as I remember it was just some fruit
only at 41:36 when writing this but make sure to check your notebook when you learn new echos. There are lots of things in the item descriptions that the game doesn't tell you right away. Like Link's bombs could have been held down to charge into a bombchu, and Zelda can pick up summoned bats and walk off a ledge to glide as if it were a cuckoo :3

Just a tip, make sure you read the echo descriptions. I read the one on the bat and it told me something I probably wouldn't have known otherwise.

Hey Gab here’s a little tip:
I like to think about Tri’s bind ability as the Ultra Hand ability from Tears of the Kingdom, basically you can interact with Tri (targeting and holding “x”) with almost everything.
So, that chest underground? You get it using Tri
Also I discovered (by accident) that you could target the impostor Link and use Tri to get his shield 😂 and echoes can attack him easily.
So yeah, try using Tri to interact with things.
Link: wait, youre compleating dungeons and being the hero of hyrule?

Love this game so far it's so fun being able to bind enemies is hilarious. 1:22:04 Also Gab you can bind to chests in the ground and pull to get them out
Thank you. I was yelling at my screen for her to just lock onto the chest. Also when she was spending so much time making a convoluted tower to get to the one chest with the pin, when all she had to do was summon a spider and climb up the web.

@PokedudeEx bed is the ultimate meta. Gives you height, give you steps, is a good block for enemies
Little tip: pressing the right stick switches the perspective to top-down view to help you see things a bit better! You'd probably discover this naturally but always better to know it early

What I’m most excited about watching this game is all the different ways I’ve seen people solve problems. I’ve been excitedly waiting for Gabs playthrough especially!

I think you can use binding to the chest in ground and pull it out and you can also bind to your echoes
if you are low in hearts just plop down your bed echo to rest in it. I think it would be helpful if you read the description for every echo you get because they have info about their ability.
The way to get chests trapped in the ground is to use the Bind on them and pull them out. A couple enemies can also be defeated by pulling them.

Some tips, Sleep in the bed to restore hearts and Any chests stuck in the ground use the guide ability and pull it from the ground it's like ultrahand from TOTK
I'm glad they decided to use this artstyle again after Link's Awakening, it's a very charming game (even if the echo menu is as tedious as TOTK's when you're an item hoarder)

I played oracle of seasons and oracle of ages right before this came out, and it blended really well. I really like how this game keeps the freedom you gave in totk while still feeling like classic zelda

When you use your Peahat you can grab the enemies and shove them into the blender. You can also use the Urchin as a barrier, when they lunge attack you can drop the Urchin in front them, grab it and toss at a creature, or you could tractor beam them and walk the Urchin into other mosters.

It's so nice to see a playthrough where someone actually reads the dialogue and instructions. I can't stand watching other people slam their heads against a wall for 5 minutes because they couldn't read the 2 seconds of dialogue that tells you exactly what to do lol
I didn't really feel like playing this one myself, but I love watching this playthrough. Very relaxing 😊 the music is so pretty
here's a little fun fact: in japanese, the names for minister lefte and general wright are サダリ大臣 (sadari daijin) and ウギ将軍 (ugi shougun) which i think is a much more subtle but still cute pun by combining the kunyomi and onyomi of 右 and 左 respectively
for those who don't know, in japanese right is "migi" but the character can also be read as "u" (in some compounds), making "ugi", and left is usually "hidari" but can also be read as "sa"

I really like the combination of elements in this game so far! From BotW cooking, Link's Awakening Remaster art style, and then Gab talking about how the one area reminds her of TP. Very cute, so far!
Edit: I also like this recent thing in the Zelda games of having a lore reason as to why Link doesn't speak much. First BotW's thing with Link not wanting to burden others as a knight and now here with Link losing his voice in a rift! I kind of hope we meet those other kids Lueberry mentioned Link was stolen with.
The Peahat is probably my most used Mob so far XD I love it so so very much
You already have all the tools you need for getting that chest. Remember the bind ability... and always try to target everything. You could have stolen Link's shield with it etc.
I've been really liking the game. One thing I've noticed is that it's easy to forget about your bind ability, especially in combat, but it can be used to aid your echos or to simply yeet foes off edges/into water.
I love how easy it is to problem solve your way around the full map, especially once you get certain echos. Managed to track down some top tier echoes pretty quickly, though I can't actually use them until I level up some more.
When you summon a bed you can rest in it to regain health, that way you're not always on the lookout for hearts.

Im loving this game so much got it on release day. I was literally squealing with giddy and excitement. I enjoy the newer style of Zelda games like BOTW and ToTK but it felt so amazingly nostalgic to go back to the top down style i first started with Playing as Zelda is so cool and the echos are an interesting new aspect of gameplay

1:15:04 the way this works is highly resemble the statues controlled by the Dominion Rod in TP, except it follows you vertically instead of affected by gravity.
You can pull the chest out of the ground by using Tri with X (just like you move the giant boulders) 😀

The chest in the dirt is acquired with the green beam on the x button. Just latch on and pull it out.

Has anybody else noticed the vaguely eerie vibes that pop up now and again? Without giving details or spoilers, I had an immediate thought about others who can see Tri.
Considering the art style and map layout. I'd say you CAN play a game where you play as link up to the point he rescues Zelda. Its called Links Awakening. Specifically the remake.

I was totally hoping that you would be playing this latest installment of Zelda. And it's nice to see that you can play as Zelda too and use summoned objects and enemies to complete your objectives. Having been a Zelda veteran myself as far back as the first game, I appreciated the retro monster names brought back to the series. The snakes were Ropes and had the same lunge attack. The whirling creatures were Peahats and could only be fought while they were stopped. The game itself has a modified sense of the old game, or Link to the Past if you ever played that one too.

(only watched through 30 mins so far) I think Impa is Zelda's nanny/maid in this game since she said she'd draw a bath for her and fussed over her outfit!! (the whole fighting thing makes sense too because she could protect Zelda (who likely has had assassination attempts made against her before, she IS a princess after all))

Have not bought this yet. As much as i love the open worlds of BOTW and TOTK, i adore this return to the classic LOZ format. Such a unique approach to gameplay. this was amusing to watch, i can't to play this.

Hmm, you did that rock boss way different. You can actually target the weakspot, bind to it and pull it free to attack it directly quicker.
