I love using the glass walls on water. I remember my first good looking build was a copy of your lake house long time ago. Your buildings are always nice and well decorated. Learned a lot from your videos. Thanx!
Windmills will also sit on the lake bottom without assistance. Any power generator, and many other items including lights, will as well if you place them on a foundation block (Or upper floor section) above the water and then put the block/floor itself where you want it. I had a CAMP build out there once that sat much further into the lake with ceiling fans underwater to make it look like they were keeping it afloat. Keep on building!
I can tell you really enjoyed building this one, the way you connected the domes was incredible as well. Yet another build that makes me want to tear my camp down and start from scratch 😂 seriously though there wasn't a single room I wasn't blown away by, you really gave it the DX touch
Cheers! 😊 I think the kitchen could do with a few additions but I think this character may be staying a while. (Now that I think of it I've just had an idea for the kitchen actually...🤔)
I love this one, the domes are perfect for this type of camp, and the greenhouse walls and doors match perfectly. I have a similar problem in one of my camps, with the water surface textures going across a bit of flooring, and over part of a settee, but I don't mind too much, I look on it as weathering.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything fits together. I don't mind the thing with the rain either. It's interesting that it appears to raise the water level even though it's basically just an illusion. I think it makes it look even more like it's floating.
Camp looks great! The new bridge pieces are great for connecting structures. I put the super generator in a small glass building that is connected via the bridge pieces to the main building and put the rad scrubber on the bridge
there is a way to use a catwalk and a mat to remove that first stair. I do it sometimes however, I like to cleverally hide them underground or water too since it helps the build not glitch where you cant removed pieces.
Very nice. Not much of a builder myself. Some style but mostly utility. Wonder why you didn't equip aqua boy/girl for the build. Here nor there. If I came across that build, I'd be pounding the screen shot button. Thumbs up.
I always seem to forget about that perk. It's not one I've ever used so it doesn't occur to me. I'm also not sure if this character has the special points for it either, but that's another thing!
It is a bit of a challenge to use the domes I had built a camp and made like a space needle type camp it took me 2 hours to line up that blasted door and used the nuka cola secret door that was camp for time still one of my favorite builds
Regarding the post supports- I believe that if you used a half length post first, at the top, you could then attach a full length one below, which would go down into the water. This definitely worked on a previous patch- I haven't used it for a long time though.
Glad it helps! 😊 I appreciate the sentiment but I doubt that my building there will make that much impact. Only a small percentage of viewers will build there as a result of the video and the numbers aren't crazy big overall to begin with. I do appreciate the thought though!
It should be in the same place as the normal one, accessed by scrolling sideways. If not it may have bugged, the version without the foundation was a later addition so it's possible it's not shown up for some reason. If that's the case I'd put a ticket in on the support page, help.bethesda.net
For glass walls, I like to use two half glass, instead of one whole. It gets rid of the ugly metal section at the bottom of the whole wall piece. It makes upper glass floors look like a nice continuation of the first floor, without the thick delineation. Get as glassy as possible
The set used here isn't available unfortunately. It was a reward from the Season 2 scoreboard. There is a new greenhouse set in the Atomic Shop at the moment that is actually a bit more detailed than the old set. It's in it's last week on the store for now though so I'd grab it soon if you want it. ☺️
Cheers! The music hasn't changed. I (usually) record with the in game music off then add a track in post. It's much easier to edit, and avoids sudden jumps in the music. 😊
The glass pieces aren't currently available in the game. They were a reward from the second season. Bethesda have been asked about making them available from bullion vendors, but it hasn't happened yet.
The glass walls are the lvl 99 reward from the last season, so they're not available anymore, (though I'd guess they'll reappear eventually as there's plenty of demand). The dome was an atomic shop item. It comes in a set with the version with foundations.
Don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but when i try to place the wooden railings I get an error saying it needs support. Is there anything I can do to fix it.
Unfortunately railings won't snap on to upper floors right now. I'm not sure if there's a way around it, (other than non snapping rails), or of Bethesda are going to fix it but it's definitely annoying.
@@DarthXionGames damn that’s annoying. Oh well I just used the non snapping ones and although it doesn’t look at good as yours I’m happy with the overall result. One quick question, I finished almost everything but how did you manage to power the vending machines inside the green house. Sorry for the questions I’m really new to camp building.
I haven't seen it in the shop in a while, but I'd imagine it'll appear eventually. If you don't want to wait though, you can usually put a request in through the support pages, if you have the atoms available, and they'll organise the purchase that way.
very nice build if i may make an suggestion @AngryyTurtle there is a vid about custom ini files where you can change te visebility under water it can become clear just a tip :P
@@DarthXionGames yes but you can expand more under water bec you can see then, and besides if your entrance is under water its always a secret where it is if you come there for the first time :)
Sadly, I'm the type who checks for foundations in water structures... I don't care if its on stilts or toothpicks, I'll go out of my way to hild concrete foundations to act as unterwatee stilts. Because physics...
Everytime I place a stair down I get an heart attack... and also panic attack... and anxiety... and much more. Stairs are the horror part of this game...
I love using the glass walls on water. I remember my first good looking build was a copy of your lake house long time ago. Your buildings are always nice and well decorated. Learned a lot from your videos. Thanx!
Gotta love those lake views! 😊 Glad to hear the videos have been helpful.

Love the concept and execution. Thanks for sharing. We featured this build on our wasteland construction site.
This is just way cool. Great content once again my friend. Keep it coming.

I would replicate this if i had glass walls

That sounds pretty epic. I still need to get that super reactor plan.

Beautiful. Wish I had the chance to get the glass walls.
one day my friend
one day
This is going on my To Do List
Have just built this! It looks great! Thank you 😊
Definitely a classic build! 😊
Awesome build, I wish my builds came out this good but the budget always kills me.
Very nice. Not much of a builder myself. Some style but mostly utility. Wonder why you didn't equip aqua boy/girl for the build. Here nor there. If I came across that build, I'd be pounding the screen shot button. Thumbs up.

That's definitely worth a try.
@@DarthXionGames and three is that blueprint trick with the large and small posts together that worth trying. Seem that I'm moving my camp today :-)
Nice build! Really like it.
Thanks! 😊
This looks so freaking cool
Oh I love this idea!!! I have YET to use my dome! I should build in the MIre, I do love the lighting and atmosphere there!
Thanks for showing me how to use that area for building in, my only regret is that this spot will now probably become very popular.
Glad it helps! 😊
I appreciate the sentiment but I doubt that my building there will make that much impact. Only a small percentage of viewers will build there as a result of the video and the numbers aren't crazy big overall to begin with. I do appreciate the thought though!
The rate he’s going, West Virginia will be one of the most comfortable places to survive in the post war world
Wow!! Props. This is really Cool!
Excellent build. Thanks for sharing!
maybe bluprint a double/triple support to break water surface?
When you do it wrong do you scrap or store wood and concrete! When I scrap it I run out of wood then 🤔
@Darth Xion, i managed to get the greenhouse but i can't find the one that has no foundation, really want to use these upstairs in my build.
It should be in the same place as the normal one, accessed by scrolling sideways. If not it may have bugged, the version without the foundation was a later addition so it's possible it's not shown up for some reason. If that's the case I'd put a ticket in on the support page, help.bethesda.net
@@DarthXionGames k thanks. Pretty sure i didn't see a side scroll option but i could be wrong. Thanks for the tip.
Can you please explain how you built the rooftop Greenhouse dome? I’ve been trying to figure this out for the longest time.
Nice build! Is this possible to build after the milepost zero update?
As far as I know. I've not seen anything there in a while, but I've not heard anything to suggest it can't be done either.
It looks like it has balls lol. Still, I love it and I'm probably gonna do something similar now.
Balls? BALLS????!! 🤣
@@DarthXionGames Haha firs time I've seen a build and thought "Man, that camp has balls!!" 😂 My camp has balls now too lol, I call it a moon base.

Gotta say I agree with that!
How do you connect the the power if the generators are underwater? Nice build
Same way as usual. The wires don't seem to be affected at all.
How do you get those glass walls? I dont see them available.

Hello where can I buy the glass structure like yours?
The glass pieces aren't currently available in the game. They were a reward from the second season. Bethesda have been asked about making them available from bullion vendors, but it hasn't happened yet.
@@DarthXionGames Thanks and congratulations for the videos you help me so much with your videos
where did you get the glass walls from? and the glass dome without foundation?

interesting idea. It might take the edge off of it being a hidden entrance though.

Please tell me the greenhouse structure will be for sale again, couldn’t reach 99 before season ended
I haven't heard anything, but I'd be surprised if they don't make it available eventually.
Giiven me a few ideas for a new build when we get the new vaults
Man I really wish these were available again :( I wasn't playing (for the 2nd time) when these were part of a season reward :(
I was wondering what happens when you fast travel to this camp? You see yourself already bellow the water maybe?
Yeah, you tend to appear in the water right by the entrance. The brief damage immunity when you fast travel is pretty handy there.
Wait how did you get the glass domes with no concrete?
They're part of the set I think. If you have the ones with foundations you should have the ones without too.
how can i get greenhouse plans?
They're the rank 99 reward in the current season.
A tip when building their use aqua boy/girl
not what I was expecting for a house, a water house with glass
The question is , how do you get the glass walls ?
The greenhouse building set is the reward for reaching Rank 99 in the current season, Armor Ace & The Power Patrol.
@@DarthXionGames cool I've been wondering about those!
Just use aqua boy perk card u don't take rads from water and u can breathe underwater
I always forget that exists 🤣
Wow...
Enjoy the water spawn :D
Niiiice!
Bluntly that you bro?
No the dome there is the walls and roof that I miss
👏👏👏👏👏👍
Try making this base under water
It would be doable I think. The main problem would be the drowning part. 😂
