For me, it will be the A2. I don't run a lot of cargo and just want a safe all-rounder. Also, I can use the bombs every time the bunker turrets think I'm not friendly again (they will learn about my peaceful ways by force!^^). Not gone use them on JT because I'm not a dick.

I was Kindly gifted a few million to buy one the other day, I love the C2 and I've upgraded its quantum and engines, now i can earn loads of money by cargo hauling

M2 for me! I like the stock military components the C2 feels slow in QT by comparison. Obviously you can upgrade QT on C2 but I also like the 3rd crew member spot.
TS-2 is my very first upgrade for any ship that size! Totally understand wanting it fast whole stock though :)
Keep in mind, this is an older video and something significant changed in the M2 making it less exciting.

The M2 for me. But only from a RP standpoint. I want it for military transport and even though the C2 can technically do the same, it feels “improper“ to use a civilian ship as military transport. Again, just an RP thing :D
I mean, the M2 has the jumpseats, the extra turret, and will have more armor when it comes in. It’s definitely meant to be in more combat situations than the C2, so there are/will be practical reasons.

I have both the C2 and M2. The C2 is currently my daily driver. The M2, when armor is a thing, I will use it to haul higher value cargo. The armor, extra ship guns, and space for combat troops/armory on board will make it a tougher nut to crack for pirates.
100% these ships really fly so much better than you'd think!
I've spent literally years grooming my A2 ccu chain... The end result was a $350 A2 Hercules. Why did I do it? Well, outside of REALLY wanting the ship, my theory crafting got the better of me with the A2 and it dawned on me how powerful this ship will be.
Heavy armor, double s3 shields and a plethora of turrets. This ship is one of the only combat ships that can go to war at the beginning of your game session, run supplies and relief afterwards, handle some cargo for quick cash and close with hauling some vehicles across the system. What I'm trying to say is, it's VERY flexible. It's not locked to combat. And 200ish scu of space allows it to be a brinks truck hauling high value cargo. That's why I did it.. $700 "now $750" was pretty high but I made it work at a much lower price. I love the A2 and look forward to bombing missions and support roles with this ship.

Got the 3pack but upgraded the C-1 as it's the least favorable of the trio for me.
At the C1s role and size, I'm a Cutlass Black kind of guy myself!

Whenever there's a break in the recording, take another drink of water. Then, adjusting your microphone so that it's away at an angle from your mouth will ensure that the sounds of your lips smacking or other saliva-related sounds won't be as loud.

The M2 might have more value once Pyro comes out, being able to carry alot of cargo, and having an extra turret might help a bit
That's true! Especially with the increased size of Pyro, it may not be feasible to put that person in a fighter instead :)
@@Space-Tech or you can put the fighters into the cargo hold 🤯. I bet you can fit two arrows or so in there, maybe a gladius
Unfortunately I've tried and the struts for the door prevent you from at least getting the gladius in :(
@@Space-Tech Arrows might be the way then. Also IDK if you fly a redeemer at all, but it seems very fragile for some reason, like the fins on the back tail always blow off, even though the shield is up

this is a tough one for me, I want to get a cargo hauler (as I dont have one atm, unless you count the carrak), but the bombs on the A2 are just so enticing.
I'd ask you how often you find yourself needing bombs of that size? Also consider that we should get more Cargo gameplay in 3.23 :)
As a dedicated A2 pilot, best feeling when your friends need a bomb on target for support on ground missions, heheheh Colossus go BANG! 🤣

@@Space-Tech I'm just getting my feet wet started playing 3 weeks ago I am a Jack of all trades master of none type player so the multi roll ships intrest me most. I have the titan and ptv right now as my starting pledges was looking at the msr, connie Phoenix, as my next multi rolls then the a2.
Welcome to the verse! The next steps up for Jack of all trades ships are the Cutty black, then a connie. Probably the taurus
So basically, we deserve to reward ourselves with all three, and keep the caterpillar pirate edition for flex, logistical adaptation (I do weird stuff, I'm a strange example of something very exact) and fanboy purposes (I'm a drake boy)

whats the difference between hull hp and body hp?
Hull HP is the total HP of the entire hull, you can think of body HP as the health of the main center mass of the ship, so excluding wing tips, and the nose :)
M2 for me maybe a2 someday we will see

That will actually be late next month! Invictus fleet week is definitely going to have the A2, and may also have the M2 :) as always you can just grab the CCU to the A2 if you want to start a savings chain :)

I am confused, if the C2 and M2 both have the same carrying capacity for vehicles, and are the same size, how does the C2 fit so much more cargo?
I think it's because of the height of the cargo area

@@kazer4040 I think it stands a decent change against a Deemer, if the pilot is skilled enough, but a HH would probably destroy this thing haha
It depends what you're up against... with all turrets active, the A2 is pretty good up against other big ships because they are equally slow to get all big guns on target. But those big turrets, while powerful are slow moving and struggle to track a bunch on light fighters swarming in close and focusing on the A2's unprotected upper hull.
@@Nemoticon So maybe having a hurricane help support would make a deadly convoy! Would love to try it in game but I have like 100k lol
Does the Pilot get to drop the bombs?
Yes! The bombs are pilot controlled on the A2 for now, things may change in the future of course
Hull instaled bombs/torpedoes/rocket always pilot weapons main, in the future can handle the co op pilot too, but pilot always (sory my english not the best)
I just buy the A2, I have only 2 S4 gimbal as pilot, not 4 weapons... :/

Just pledged the A2 upgrade from my C2. I run a ballista and nova tank inside, long haul i swap nova for c8r Pisces inside the A2.
