@ yeah guess it depends what you use your vehicle for. I personally would keep my 392 over a braptor due to going to Moab, rubicon trail, etc… I’m sure the ford is nicer on the pavement but I can get a German car/suv if I want a twin turbo v6.
This is a pro video! Great production. Keep the good work. This is a very balanced and honest review. Owner's reviews are always the best. I would be very interested in a detailed review vs the defender, the 392 and a regular Rubicon: what does each excel at and which is the worst of the three on each category.
I traded my Wrangler 392 in on my Braptor. I miss the sound, but the Braptor is much more comfortable to daily drive like you said! Mine actually is quieter on the interstate than my 392 was (both vehicles had a hard top), I wonder if it's and adjustment thing? I just have issues with the panel above the driver side door sounding like it's loose (like if you hit a bump), but it only happens in certain temperatures. You should check out the Ford Performance tune (part number M-9603-BR30). You still keep your factory warranty up to 36k miles, and it gives you 455hp/536 ft/lb torque. It definitely wakes it up in sport mode, I've seen boosts in the mid 20s with it. It is a "learning" tune that takes about 2 weeks to see the full potential. It is fun to boost around in RWD in sport mode!
@@GodspeedZRZ look it up on Lethal Performance, they had it on black Friday for a bit cheaper, but it's still cheaper than Ford. Since you work at a dealership, you can probably get them to flash it for you (and keep your warranty)
Good review. I started watching your channel for 392 content. The last couple months, I’ve been watching the used 392 market to replace my JLUR 2.0. A couple weeks ago, I found a bronco raptor kinda near me priced in line with a 392 XR. I decided to give the raptor a test drive. After 17 years and four different jeeps, with my last one on 37’s, I now have a bronco raptor. I love jeeps and still do, but the bronco fit better.
Great review! I chose the F150 Raptor over the Braptor. 37K miles and a year later, it has been nothing but a dream to drive and own but I also love the Braptor a lot. Hope you’ll have a great owner experience with this Braptor. I bought the Ford ESP plan for 175K miles and I’m going to use every single of those miles lol.
Thanks for the video, 20k here, turn up the support stops under the hood they are adjustable gets rid of the flutters. I miss the cooled seats from the 150.
Congrats on 20k, thanks for the tip! I have adjusted them to the max and still didn’t help. Must be from cutting out three of those shutters for the ACC relocation. Thanks for watching!
Great video, I agree the suspension is what makes the bronco Raptor great. If it had your typical bilstein 5100 shocks for example it would suck. But would love to hear your opinion on your JL 392’s off road capabilities after you install long arms and fox 2.5 dsc’s. I always mention that specific suspension kit because I know you like nice stuff and those shocks will not disappoint. They have three settings of adjustment and the ride quality and articulation with long arms is next to none.
@GodspeedZRZ unless you get some really expensive triple bypass coil overs, these are the best option. You can rebuild them if needed, 3 settings of adjustment, same size Diameter if the shock that’s on the Braptor, and they are decently priced for the shock you get. But I would lift your Jeep 3 inch’s or more with a spring as well so you get the full potential of that shock. And lastly I would get the Metal Cloak, Evo or Terraflex long arm kit after. Maybe even a hydro bump stop like the Mojave’s setup. (But shocks and Springs first please)
WOW! 70 k used. Makes my used 30k 2014 FJ (I bought 5 years ago ) sound like a bargain. Never left me stranded, never got stuck, never broke. At 82k miles I can still sell it for what I’m paid.
Finally true honest between Braptor and 392. It’s a nice vehicle but nothing compare to 392 like Braptor owners saying. Ford is known on limp mode at times.
Been seeing ton and tons of brand new 2024 bronco raptors for 70-78k. There's 4 at the dealer In that range local to me and I saw 15 more online around the country.
@GodspeedZRZ For sure! I've been seeing them in that range pretty consistently lately. If they had been that price when I ordered my 24 Sasquatch I would have gone that route. I'm definitely gonna be looking next week pretty heavily to see about trading mine for
Thats an honest review...nothing worse than dealing with service depts, warranties, on a new vehicle. Are you going to have SSI tune your bronco, it looks like hes got the F150s beating most corvettes...? Im putting headers on the jeep next and then Ill have Shawn re tune the motor. ✌
How smooth, comfortable and quiet a long distance highway drive does this have compared to the F150 Raptor, and the F150 Tremor or Platinum? Awesome looking vehicle! MPG? Don't like the sound of that very loud road noise, no matter how comfortable the drive. Given that noise reference, I"m leaning F150 Raptor with the 37 package again. Any thoughts on that?
Honestly feels the exact same as the F-150 Raptor. Way louder on the inside though. Only get about 13-14 mpg best case. If you’re gonna use it off-road Bronco Raptor for sure. If you are only using it in the street get the truck. Thanks for watching!
@@GodspeedZRZ Thanks. It's funny though, another reviewer said he got 18 mpg with his Bronco Raptor. It's too bad about that loudness, I love it's shorter wheelbase and higher road clearance for off road stuff, and perhaps deep snow getting from a garage to a plowed road during bad snowstorms. Round and round.
I thought the noise was better. I'm a Jeep fan, but the interior is way better than and with more features than the jeep. That's why I thought the noise insulation was better.
lol 10k is not long term review. i got 27k on my '24 and love it. though if i had to do it again i might have gone with jeep 393 just cause i can make it even faster. i picked it up with 5400 miles for 68k.
I’ve got over 10k miles on my Braptor in just 2 months and it’s been FLAWLESS
LOVE it; WAY more than my previous Jeep!
That is awesome, glad you love it!
@ also put the ProCal FP tune on it and that really wakes her up! Highly recommend!
You most not have a 392 rofl
@@maximusthefrenchbulldog392 ya I did. Raptor has way more to offer than just the engine upgrade of the 392

What a great honest ownership experience of the bronco raptor. You really drove this beast everywhere! Can't wait for many more videos!

Great, hard truth review
