the best Metal album in the last 10 years
The vocalist, Dino Jelusick is unbelievable... from TSO to Dirty Shirley and Animal Drive he is everywhere....even does a remake of Jane with Portnoy and Hoekstra that is unbelievable... This entire CD from Romeo is ridiculous...fantastic
Nobody and I mean nobody can play like Michael on guitar. This guy is superhuman!!!

One of the most underrated guitarplayers in history! What Mr Romeo can do with a guitar is insane. And on top of that, his ability to write songs.
Oh yes they can, haven't you heard of John Petrucci or Jason Becker or Mike Orlando or Marty Friedman or Steve Vai to name a few, to say Romeo is the best is just plain wrong and no compliment at all, but to say he's your favourite guitarist is , there's a big difference, don't get me wrong, I live for Romeo's chops but he's just one of many, Peace out 👍🙏

Michael Romeo is the guitarist for Symphony X and also the primary song writer. He wrote all of this music and lyrics and hired Dino Jelusick to sing vocals. Michael is a massive talent that is only now getting him the praise he has long deserved.
Michael Romeo has been improving throughout the years, although he started pretty strong already. I think this is his best record yet. You might want to check out some other songs on the same album
Remember the song Jane?? This singer covers it. Mike Portnoy on drums and more stars. Some serious singing!!

War of the worlds part 1 is good but he has a different singer. War of the worlds part 2 is his masterpiece album. The whole thing is perfect and mind blowing. I also recommend Symphony X Iconoclast. It is incredible!!! My favorite of the Symphony X albums.
My favorite song of the Album is 'maschinenmensch'. Highly recoment that... but they are all great
Agree, Maschinenmensch is a prog masterpiece with an over the top holdsworthian solo, but all the songs are top level.
Try Divide and Conquer off same album..it will blow your mind
