Michal Romeo, definitely the most underrated metal guitarist/composer out there. I still can't believe Symphony X exists and I was lucky enough to have been born in their era of existence. Flawless, effortless, impeccable, just Michael Romeo 🤘

@@Siegdrifa he is a beast but he just like chris brodrick the kind of guitarist who are extremly gifted but they cant write a classic riff or solo .. all what they can do is play super fast and complex stuff with feeling or music ...like in this solo he just playdd notes I will never say whoah I want to play that solo..
@@OthmaneTheSkills Romeu's riffs/solos are better than Broderick's and on the same classical level as Petrucci. Anyone with a good musical ear would love to play many of Romeo's iconic riffs/solos. You couldn't play that bunch of notes if you trained for a thousand years, envious!

@宏洋高嶋 I'm completely familiar with that music and the likes of it. (Polyfia, Chon, Animals as leaders, 3, Archspyre, Chimp spanner, Jason Richardson, Native construct, Pini, Vitalism, etc,etc,etc.
But that is even more predictable than listening to something like Symphony-X.
I like Sergey but Sergey only wishes he could create music as complex and deep as Symphony-X.

@宏洋高嶋 There's no melody in there, harmonies are common and boring as hell. The "complex" rhythm/tempo it's the same predictable shit that every other band in that style plays, no personality. And don't let me start with the crappy tone and probably the ugliest guitar I have ever seen.

This is the 1st time I've heard of this guy, he's AWESOME!
Still one of the most awe-inspiring, shocking guitarists for me. I really think he’s one of the most talented players that has ever lived.
Somehow you can always tell if it's michael romeo playing, something about his tone and style of playing is unique.

Can someone please interview Michael Romeo, like ask him to reflect on every album, what was his toughest solo to write, how did he approach song writing, what was the young guitar experience like, what he thinks of the current guitarists in the genre. There is so much insight and wisdom we could do with from him on TH-cam.

Symphony X: one of the most skillful bands ever. Michael Romeo is unbelievably talented as a musician, that goes without saying, but also as a composer.
Makes it look so easy.. What a legend of a guitar player. His right hand technique is always so clean and elegant.

As a shredder I’m ashamed to admit I only heard about this guy recently when I stumbled across a Young guitar tutorial of him sweep picking which was from over 20 years ago. He was epic then and now I’m watching all his videos. Amazing player.

Le dernier SX c'est avec without you et nevermore , j'aime bien les song , mais michael romeo , ne nous fait plus des solo comme ' the relic , seven , fool's paradise ' , ca me manque un peu ces megatonnes de talent ' , mais meme si j'ai adoré van halen , satriani , Friedman, vai , malmsteen, michael romeo est unique , si tu es comme moi , que tu aimes la musique sportive , bach , beethoven , alors tu dois aimer michael romeo , on a a chaque seconde qq chose de sportif a ecouter , et tres peu de groupes et de musicien , en sont capable. Y a plein de groupes metal , et de bombes guitaristiques mais ils me gonflent , c'est hyper tech , mais ca phrase peu , ca ne chante pas , c'est que du plan en rafale , et des que je ne chante pas un solo , c'est mauvais signe . Michael romeo m'a toujours apporté ca , mais bon , il vieilli .... Pourtant sur youtube des hyper tech y'en a plein , donc j'ai espoir d'un groupe qui debarque un jour
