@@elijahhanna4604 for me it's little engine , farewell , in too deep ..! Well can't say it's trash coz em only said some songs are for certain type of people .
The line about “How it felt to be on top when I was on you” was also a reference to how a lot of people claim that during that phase of his life, he was at the top of his career or that he made his best music, and people like to joke that he ought to get back on drugs to make that sort of music again. That’s one of the reasons he’s got that chip on his shoulder, and why he gets so puffed up in the chest when he talks about it, like “They want me to OD on codeine. They want my life in turmoil like in ‘03, they want front-row seats, I’ll give em nosebleeds.”
Amazing schemes, production, hook, content, and the whole double metaphor laced throughout. Just an unbelievable track that ticks all the boxes & more 🔥
Eminem rhymes at such a consistently high level that people get used to it and take his skill for granted. Nobody else in the game has ever been able to bend words like he does. Flow, pronunciation, inflection, how he breaks up words, etc.. Top level...
Very true. I remember being a little underwhelmed when I first started listening to other Hip-Hop artists after Em. Since then, I've started enjoying other artists too, much my appreciation for Em has skyrocketed
huge Em fan here but damn, watching your videos makes me appreciate his songs even more. The way you break it down is like none other. Seriously, keep it up.
A lot of rappers use beat switches just because it's cool nowadays. Very few rappers use it in the narrative of the song. The use of beat switches on this album is immaculate. He's not just doing it because he can, they have a method. Sorta jolts you up as if to say "hey this is the crescendo, pay attention and watch me wrap it up in this last verse." Just listen to these songs; Discombobulated, Book of Rhymes, Gnat, These Demons, Killer.
There's so many lines that hint towards this whole thing being a triple.. It just blows my mind, and yet all my dumbass can do is repeat the same line "this man is on a different level" but it just doesn't do it justice.. The man is a true savant when it comes to hip hop, no one is a more complete package.
Hi Knox, how are you? If I'm not mistaken, this was the only song from the album with beats by Dre and he produced it too alongside Eminem and other people. Can you please check out Leaving Heaven? *Bad Meets Evil - All I Think About*
Keep doing what your doing both in the music industry and reacting to the music industry 🔥🔥
Would love to see a colab between you and The Third Ernest. Both are amazing at catching the bars.
Thanks Know for doing a breakdown for this song. I use to be addicted to pain killers to xanax and heroin...And when i heard this song i inmmediately caught it because only people who pass trough this can tell you this song hits so so deep and you caught the message. Em my fucking Respects to you man. God bless both of yall, Peace ~1~
Well see dissected Man love this song decided to come watch the breakdown you are so good at this one love bro.
Greatest song ever written imo. On my life it is. So impressive & real
Damn that piece in the beginning sounded good
I love your breakdowns!
Dr.Dre produced it along with a couple other guys as well Eminem
I love this song. It's another one of my favorites on the MTBMB album!
Amazing breakdown once again! Glad I found this channel! Top 3 reactor for sure
This album goes straight to top 3 em ever done. It is fire. And we were all hungry for it. We need a wake up call, we needed slim shady
I think he’s done, your reactions and breakdowns are above and beyond you bring new lights to the music and it’s amazing. I do believe the triple is not to far, I feel like he’s trying to stop making music but he can’t cause he can’t give up that addiction and he is angry about it. Just my thoughts, as always stay awesome Knox!!
I really enjoy your reactions and how you break down all the bars. There is a song that I would like to request you to react - Eminem defence, it is an outro of Obie's album. Haven't found any reaction to this song. Fan from Europe
We will never see another Em like the way he wrote? His pen game? Unmatched
I feel how you react to it, man... Loved it!!
That intro caught me off guard... Fire bruh!!
And phenomenal Knox Hill reacted professionally as what he did in the other reactions.
It was great u know
I enjoyed
