Nice review, Tyler! Not many people have noticed that the Fiat 500 has recieved an updated for 2017 (since it is a pretty oftenly forgotten vehicle), but I have to say the 2017 Fiat 500 is a pretty surprising vehicle. Especially, since the price dropped by $2k, or so, for the 2017 model year (over the previous model year). You conducted a very thorough, and complete review of this vehicle. You should consider reviewing the Cabrio Abarth version, as well. That vehicle's exhaust will surely put a smile one your face. Keep up the great work, as always! 👍🏽
I just got mine on Monday with almost the same spec but leather seats and a few other goodies. I haven't had much time to mess with it but ty for showing me where everything is! Gonna go to my car and mess with it and see the trunk to check if I have a beats system. lol
I get 38mpg on mine, the 2017 models come standard with a sport suspension. that used to be only available in the sport models, the pop and lounge had normal duty suspension.
Sorry, but now I’m curious how do you turn a Pop into a Sport? There used to be major differences between the two, I know this first hand as I own 2012 Sport that I bought new.
Know you go to the pop trim and add the sports package and it will give you the rims the face lift but you have to add another package for the dark headlights thought you should know I love faits hope this helps
Great video Tyler! I am associated with a Subaru Dealership in the Hartford area. If you're ever looking to get your hands on a new Subaru for a video feel free to contact me. Keep the great content coming!
+Sebastian lopez Id love to film some Subarus! I just haven't found a dealer yet, Hartford is close enough. If you could hook me up with them I'd be more than happy!thanks a lot!
Good job man! I'm partial to small and funky cars. I'd take it w a manual and would pay a grand more for nicer interior materials. Does it have CarPlay/AA? And did u have to slide the drivers seat back manually after u entered the rear seat? That would piss me off but I guess u can't have everything at this price point. Thanks for the vid...bet u can't wait to start driving them huh. Cheers
+rod22lt This was actually one of the nicer of the compact cars I've looked at. I drove it in the parking lot just to move it to a good spot to film, this thing is the easiest car to both park and do 180° turns. Of course I'm used to driving trucks and big sedans so…but I do not think it has CarPlay or android auto. Not yet at least, but you can still pair your phone. The front seats are fully manual so yeah you will have to tug on the seat to get it back and fourth if you were to put your mother in law back there. Pretty neat car at the price, but yeah, only another 6 months until I could drive cars with dealer plates!
N&T Auto Reviews Yeah, that's why I love small cars like this...they're nice and tossable, add in a manual and it's a lot of fun for not a lot of money. Unfortunately due to my lifestyle (biking, kayaking, Canadian winters) I need to drive an SUV. The seat thing surprises me cause I had a G5 and Subaru coup and both had spring loaded mechanisms to return the seat back to the set position after letting someone in the back. But that was the passenger side so maybe this car does that as well. I'm stoked that you'll be adding in a test drive in a bit. You've set your channel up nice to potentially bring in the subs. Do u have a favourite TH-cam car reviewer?
+rod22lt MikesCarInfo is the guy who inspired me and helped me create my channel he's my favorite, but I grew up watching Saabkyle04 before mikes channel.
It’s such a cool little car though. And if you need more power there’s always the Abarth. This is considered a 1.4L engine so it’s going to be 1400cc give or take a few. They usually round up or down.
Jude E Its just a Fiat 500 Pop. You can get Fiat 500 Pop / Lounge etc. The different names indicate which entry level the car is. Hope this makes sense.

+DriveAndBeDriven Yes the exhaust of the Abarth is pretty nice!

I got that exact same spec 500....love it! Great review!
Take a drink every time he says "nice".
Excellent video as always Tyler!
+TJC450 Thanks! This one came out pretty good
N&T Auto Reviews yeah it really did.
excellent review of a great car

I’m not exactly sure. They probably just wanted to simplify the trim levels and just make more packages available.
Thats what id like to know!

Would this do ok from Sacramento to Los Angeles area ? How much refill estimated ?

Top speed of 100 with a redline of 6K RPM's. That's kind of a bummer, but then again, isn't this like a 500 cc engine?

Does the back windows roll down? Unlike the bmw i3
Nope.
Im trying to find this car...does anyone know the model&number I should be searching for,as a 'pop' doesnt quite add up!! Thank you

Yes, every fiat dealership should have some 500’s in the Pop trim.
Thanks Debbie..is it 14L ?..so many 500's ...
Jude E not sure what 14L is to be honest. This will be a 1.2 engine. I think they make one smaller as well though (0.9 I believe).
Thank Debbie
Why’d you start the car so weird just turn it on
Yukk ... Automatic gone at 10:30
The car looks nice but the rims are nothing special. European versions of this car have much better looking rims and other enhancements.
Needs premium gas
it recommends premium gas for performance and runs fine on normal octane
Fiat = Fix it again Tim, should have watched Scotty Kilmer channel before buying this.
This model is a “SPORT” not a Pop.
As of 2017 there is no more Sport trim. It’s simply Pop, Lounge, and Abarth.
It’s a POp with the Sport appearance package. The Sport was dropped in 2017. It’s now just a package that can be gotten with the Pop
