The only thing I can think of that he says which would be of any interest to Russia is that he doesn’t think the US should be sending tens of billions to Ukraine to fund the war, which he also says about the Israel Palestine war. It seems very strange to me. I have a feeling that if this whole thing is even real, the only reason he got a deal with Tennant is because he knows Lauren Chen so she just reached out to him because it was easier for her to fill her quota of influencers by getting her friends rather than getting influencers who may have views that would have been more favorable to Russia but would have been harder to get due to the lack of a pre existing relationship. It seems like a poor investment on Russias end. Also the DOJ has the messages between them and Lauren inquiring as to who was funding Tennant so they know that they didn’t know it was Russia, which is why in their official statement they mentioned that the influencers were unknowing “victims”. I guarantee you it won’t hurt his credibility except for people on the Left, but they already hate him for having differing views so I don’t think this will have much of an effect. The whole thing seems very fishy though. We already know that the DOJ is very partisan so I can’t help but be skeptical. It just feels like the last two election times all over again. They are so stuck on Russia but I guarantee that China is engaging in 100x more interference and spying. Why do we never worry about the clearly larger threat? Also after an hour of pushing the story that Tim is some evil villain persecuting local skateboarders, he then proceeded to list all of the skateboarders that followed Tim (many of which are his friends) to try and publicly shame them. I really enjoyed his YSL series and was starting to have more respect for him but that video made me lose all that respect pretty quickly lol.
