- The #skoolieconversion continues as we install a new floor. After installing new insulation in the bus our next project was to install a new floor as a base to build everything else. How did it turn out?

Welcome to our Big Family Expedition! We are a family of 8 that sold everything we owned in 2019 to travel full time with our kids. This is a real life journey of us building a custom RV to travel full time in 2024.

A few things ---- Floor looks great! The Kreg jigs are amazing, used them quite a but during my furniture building phase ... now that that is out of the way... let's talk about the goggles!! Seriously though, when y'all get on the road we will have to do a meetup with @jandareview1 also - Just imagine the trouble we could all get into!
The goggles are necessary 😂, and trouble? Trouble sounds like fun to me.
Amazing seeing before and after! The floor looks great. Another bit closer to when you all are on the road. 👍

woo floor! I know Chuck likes the foam and plywood floor but I'll be interested to see how it holds up in your bus long term. I'm now seriously considering doing a van instead of a trailer.

Kenny, that floor loooks amazing!! Hey are you planning on putting AC units in the roof hatches? Thats what we did in our bus. When you guys start traveling you’ll have to come our way for a night or two. Progress is looking great!
My plan is a mini split, and keep the hatches for now. We'll get with you once we start traveling 💪.
