nice video! compared with the GE90 of the triple seven, the RR engines of the A340-600 are much quiter during engine start. I experienced once to fly with the 346, but it was with Etihad from CDG to AUH.

Dan-y Rico yeah that's for watching, I've noticed recently most airlines haved started to start the engines during push back, the twinjet gets will be ready to taxi out by the time the plane is full pushed back
Simple Flight Aviation Channel I flew ten times (counting return flights) with Iberia (my country airline) and in almost six times the airplane started engines without being towed back! Sadly all these times were common A321s (the experience I had with Iberia Express A320 was horrible, I only got happy when after asking a flight attendant to talk the pilot to use air brakes then I saw how during final approach the pilot was waving the spoilers like one else tapping fingers on the table!). The best flight experience I had was with Pullmantur Air (now Wamos)'s EC-KQC (747-4ER) ex Megatop Singapore, which was full up to the head literally (520 people), it took off in only 18 seconds and landed by a side at Greece lmao... And the return flight my parents and I seated exactly at the very ass of the plane, then we started to chill almost the whole first floor... That airplane was happy too.
I love it !!! Greetings from California ! Love the fly ! I usually take delta from lax to San Jose Costa Rica !!! Hope one day to visit Spain ! And other European countries !!!! Love it
where were you flying to? I'll be taking this A340 from Madrid to Lima in 2 weeks time. Could you tell me what the turbulence was like? Did you have a fairly smooth, pleasant journey?
skyclasp. From Madrid to London Heathrow & the A340 handles turbulence very well, the flight was good, crew was nice & friendly yeah it was very smooth!

LOVE ITTTTTTT, I flew this aircraft (EC-JNQ) from Buenos Aires to Madrid and we did a powerful and heavy takeoff from Ezeiza. Incredible beast!
