  • Mary Workman (1808-1868), the sister of William Workman, may have been raised in the remote hamlet of Clifton in the furthest northern reaches of England, but not only was she well-educated, she was an exceptional artist. A recent donation of some of her art work by Workman descendants Jon and Elaine Krebs includes pieces, religious and secular, that beautifully reflect her deep faith and piety, as well as her abiding concern with family. Join us for this slide-illustrated presentation on her life including the remarkable rescued remnants of her art.
