    Who are Kara and Nate?!
Watch our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment.
We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;)
So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world.
Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going.
4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time!
After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are in our 9TH YEAR of finding the best adventures the world has to offer :)
We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey!

    1. Ted Lasso is awesome. I’ve watched all the way through at least 4 times and I discover new insights each time. Love.
    2. Kudos for Nate’s correct pronunciation of ‘bruschetta.’ Bravo.
ETA a number 3. I’ve missed a train in Chicago before even though I was at Chicago Union Station ahead of my train’s departure. To anyone reading this - don’t mess around and get there plenty early. Since many trains originate in Chicago, they handle things a little differently there. They will call your train in the grand hall and then will escort you as a group to the train. Learn from my mistake, which resulted in a long uncomfortable Greyhound bus ride. Don’t miss the train!

Lots of leg room. They reclined with foot rests. We had a blast on the way there. Trip back home was rough with a broken door between our car and the next. They have tons to do, especially the tours, which are amazing. I did eat at Pequods and I gave it 10\10. The sunset tour from Navy pier on a sailboat gives you an awesome view of the skyline. Hello from Norway!
This 'giggeling' video of you reminded me of one of your 'giggeling' videos just before you posted some new years video about being tired and had considered taking a youtube break. Please don't get too tired by your work.
    Take care 🖖

Hi Kara & Nate ~ I haven’t watched the Vlog yet, but I thought I’d come on here and say hello - I live in a rehabilitation centre as I suffer with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and lupus, I either bedbound or wheelchair bound ~ I did some travelling when I was younger Singapore and Australia also Spain and Greece, but some of the places you have been to I can only dream about - I love your vlogs as they are so informative and your content is great - sending loads of love and loads of hugs to you both ~ Xxx Xxx

Catching a glimpse of the walkway over the Hudson was absolutely beautiful. That is the train line I take when going from my home in the Hudson River valley, to New York City.

This video is the most reflective of the Amtrak experience out of the (many) other TH-cam reviews out there. The endless repeated announcements. The sounds of walking between carriages. 👍 The man who comes to your door loudly announcing what he’s about to do.

I just truly love seeing the utmost love they have for each other! Every morning Nate gets Kara a cup of coffee and give her the good morning kiss! Even when they dug out a hole in the snow and slept in the snow den Nate made Kara a cup of coffee in the morning and delivered it with a kiss! The love they have for each other is sweet and they are just the most down to earth people!

My husband and I just got back from a trip to Leavenworth and we LOVE IT!! I grew up passing by there every time we drove over the mountains and loves to stop to look at all the cute shops!!
Christmas time is an amazing time to go, it will be very similar to your Christmas festival videos!!
Summertime is also fun as they have lots of outdoor activities like a historical walking trail and water inter tubing!!!

The train is so much less stress than driving in the van. You get more sleep, food & even showers on the train.
    Win…win…win…with the train.
I’ve taken Amtrak from San Bernardino to Seattle to Sandpoint.
    👍👍Two thumbs up!

Greetings from The UK Kara and Nate! What an epic journey that was, looking forward to seeing your west-east leg in your next video. This video brought back many happy memories of places I’ve been to previously in The US- namely Milwaukee and Chicago. Also belated happy birthday for the 20th Nate, never realised until a couple of days ago that you share your birthday with my amazing dad- just 30-odd years apart (most likely more!). Keep up the great work guys.
