Its wild how KBD folds up the bumper and other body parts! I just uploaded a new video last night and it shows the front bumper's initial fitment without having made any adjustments to it! There's a huge difference in how garbage the Duraflex stuff is compared to this new KBD bumper. Its going to be painted in a few weeks too and then we will really see the difference in quality!
Duraflex is not a bad brand and I'm not sure how old your duraflex body kit is based on production date. I have duraflex in my garage that is 5 or 6 years old and is ready to run. I drift and I have multiple cars that need body kits, currently run KBD on my s13 but my duraflex body kit is much sharper in its design and the side skirts have more definition than the KBD... These things can matter
They ship it like that on purpose, its even on their website. They do that to save the customer money on shipping. Its completely unfolded and fine now
@@roughriderfishing7755 thats one of their marketing tools, too. Its extra flexible and durable unlike their competitors products. Im very pleased with this KBD product. Fitment test should happen this weekend
@@naushadmahomed6919 I will be getting more video regarding the fitment in a few weeks when it goes to the body shop for final fitment and paint. That said, test fitting the front bumper went well and initial out of the box fitment was very good. The end result is going to be very nice
@@tideshiftvisual its not just general durability also fitment. I may not have done a good job in this video of showing that, but besides the duraflex being very thin and brittle, the fitment of it is notably bad and it takes a lot to make it look good
Well, besides the fact that the duraflex didnt fit for crap; the point of the video was to show the durability, flexibility, and forgiveness of the urethane the KBD is made of. Shouldn't need to be spelled out...

Its literally fiberglass versus plastic. Not rocket science
