I'm working on an extreme dimensions duraflex bumper right now for my BMW. Mine was just bought 2022 and I can assure you, their quality didn't get any better.. LOTS AND LOTS of body work. It's worth the effort when the project is completed though because you end up with something more unique than what you typically see, and for a lot less cash. I think a lot of guys get these though without understanding the sheer amount of work that goes into them. Fitment is just the 1st part. Getting the part ready for paint and filling in all the inconsistencies, pin holes, cracks, wrinkles, and chips that they come with from the factory is a real pain in the ass.
I used a factory mount just cut off the long mounting tab relocated it welded it on as well as flipped them upside down and left to right haha but it works out perfect
@@jasonstults thank you for the response. I as well have a kit similar, and believe me fitment not so great. Of course working with fiberglass a pain with spider cracks and since the kits are from the 2000’s a lot of warping uses. Cleaver on the metal sheet brackets to add support will give that a try. What was the length of the bracket metal sheet you used?
@@hanielbomb no problem! So I ended up sanding the gel coat heavily and ended up priming the bumper twice with evercoat super build plus to take care of all the pinholes and spider cracks. I believe they where around 12 inches. Yeah the first bumper I had failed and cracked out super fast so used some angle iron and some jb weld and lasted much longer.

You would think but some people just don't care and paint and throw them on the car so they sell tons

were do you get the mount for the fog light?

@44emf if nothing else buy an aftermarket fog light that will fit the hole and make your own mounting bracket or tabs

Same, these bumpers are super ricey. Only aftermarket bumpers I like are the trial and kaminari
