Thanks for being brave and letting us get raw glimpses into places like this. Really like your positive attitude and respect as well. Somalia for sure got some severe challenges to overcome still by the looks of it. Hope they can prevail and get their country back on track.
Thank you very much, glad you liked it and hope the situation changes in the future as there’s a lot of potential there! 🙏🏼
Somalia 🇸🇴 is progressing, they are doing good for coming out of a civil war for 30 years. Somalis have the biggest land in east Africa including nfd in Kenya, Ogaden in Ethiopia and Djibouti 🇩🇯. Lot’s of young entrepreneurs( very business minded people)
Indeed, new generation and hope things improve soon!
progressing my ass
It is not fair that violent and failed states like Somalia and Eritrea control so much coastline like they are great nations.
Thanks for showing us the world happy to see what media doesn’t share
Enjoy your trip and be safe
Thank you very much! 🙏🏼
@@AleSalvino your welcome

Incredible video. As always, talking to the people reveals so much. It definitely takes courage, planning and empathy to do what you do.

Am excited I'll be there this weekend great video bro
Oh wow! Good luck bro, it’s going to be incredible! 👊🏽

I saw it out of curiosity about Somalia, and the video editing is so cool! I look forward to it. I think it will increase the number of subscribers😊
Ale, thanks for your unique videos!
Thank you very much, Monikita! ❤️
That's so true - there is no country you can connect with more than your own country!
Very interesting thoughts, especially how we see the world and how it is in reality! Thanks for a great video🎥
Absolutely, facts! Glad you liked the video! ❤️
This is one of the best up and coming travel vlogs!! Keep them coming! I think having all of one country in one video would appeal to many. I really respect the police for doing everything they can to truly keep things safe there. Even checking your camera for explosives and not letting you back in the green zone when you were late; they need to be strict because of the awful things that have happened there. I appreciate how respectful and honest you are, and for showing us how it really is in Mogadishu! I love people - and the resilience of the Somalis are incredible.
I’m from Somali it amazing watching u there
Thank you! 🙏🏼

Great video. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing the video of Somalia with me. I found it really interesting and informative. I appreciate your bravery in filming the country and bringing attention to its beauty and challenges.
I would love to see more footage of the streets around the coastline, as well as learn about the experiences of women and children in Somalia. It's great to see the country working towards rebuilding its infrastructure, but I also understand that there are areas where safety is a concern due to the lack of trust.
I hope that Somalia can continue to progress and become a more stable and welcoming place for tourists to visit. Let's hope that with time, the country can overcome its challenges and showcase all the amazing things it has to offer.
Excelente video Ale !!! Muy arriesgado 😮
Gracias! 🙏

Thanks man! 🙏🏼
Such a nice beach where you had that meal. Glad they are taking all the precautions to keep you safe. You're not going to find Shark much fresher than that! Yea, it's hard to promote a country when they don't want you to film. Great chat at Harvard. So happy you were able to fly the drone and get that footage.
Thank you guys! What an interesting place to explore 😀
Thanks for visiting ❤
It’s been a pleasure 🙏🏼
@@AleSalvino Somalia is the same situation as Afghanistan. Most Somali people who live in the countryside do not trust the government. They prefer Al-Shabaab like the Taliban. The same thing will happen in Afghanistan😩
My country somalia 🇸🇴 future will be good i.a❤❤❤❤

I did go there and it’s so beautiful but it’s sad you didn’t go to dahraselam
Please Ali, how common is English in Somalia. You suprised me with that revelation.
Somali is the national language, some people speak English as a 2nd language
The Somali people seem great.
This trip feels like one you make to North Korea where everything is monitored, checked etc.
Thanks you very much second come to nort somali somalind hargiysa
Coming there 🙏🏼
Nice job, thanks i hope your channel will get more and more views, hello from Ukraine 😊
Herbalife products in somalia ? Is he an independent herbalife health coach ?
🎉🎉
It’s one country, but the reason there’s division is due to instability in Somalia and the weakness of the Somali government.
At the moment from the perspective of the normal citizens Somaliland, they don’t feel safe in uniting with an unstable Somalia and be sucked into the problems of Somalia which they are now free from for the most part. From the perspective of the elites and politicians they take advantage of this anxiety/fear of the people and use it to encourage their own agenda of independence which would only benefit the elite.
In terms of culture and as a people, there is no reason for division. It’s the exact same nation, same ethnicity, same language, same religion etc.
Welcome to mogadisho my brother
Great vlog you Should visit SOMALILAND mate👍
I’m coming there soon, wait for the next video 🙏🏼
@@AleSalvino One thing you need to understand is that, Somalia and its people do make claims on Somaliland which is false...If you think somalilanders are part of Somalia, they wouldn't have pursued re-recognition.
Any way, glad you made it safe from Somalia....Somalia is not a good country for foreigners...Only locals live there...Yesterday they killed a lots of Emirates who were training their Soldiers...Their Gov and their people are clever to create and organize Alshabaab...Then they get Aids from Europeans for Alshabaab. Its just politics of Somalia...YOu don't understand how they work.
Nacas cml uhadal hee sida ninkan inuu wax kuu qaban doono. Journalist waye hais dhihin somaliland in uu wax u qaban doono.😂
U dont need security to guard in moqdisho. Am sure many foreigners live there and no one target them
Blue guy...facts!!!!
A country is safe for tourists if women can travel alone. I don't recommend it, no matter what they say
Indigo traveller editing style.Great job man! Always wanted to visit Somalia and Somaliland!
Thank you Gabri! Hope you can visit these places soon! 🙏🏼
There is nothing called Somaliland why are you divided us if you aren’t Somali?? Somalia is one country stop faking people
@@uzairuzair7020 I don’t need to be Somali to speak about facts. It’s a fact that there is a vast territory inside your country which is not controlled by the central government.
Don’t fucking spread the lie ok
@@whereisgabri3641it’s just 2 cuties buddy😂, mostly 1 which is hargesia.
Other TH-camrs used to hide their personal security though......
I love somalia
Hopefully next time when you do Visit, just bring Somali friends with you and not those guards with you: people would interact more with you if they feel more ease around with you, than men with guns. People there might think why did this men bring these guards and a camera. You can bring a camera but I think you would enjoy and be at ease if you were with other Somalis to help you interact with people more. I’m glad you didn’t listen to the media and opened your mind and heart and experience this new adventure. Welcome to Somalia, Mogadishu. I am planning to go there this summer, God Willing (InshaAllah) 😊
Thank you for the recommendation and glad you liked it. Hope you manage to visit soon! 🙏🏼
Mxaa qaldan adinka amezing kuhayeee meelaha foosha xun duubayaye
Cause it’s ugly
"The states is more dangerous than Mogadishu" this guy has jokes 😂
I gather that the cameras and all the security is due to the past, and civil war. You do keep explaining that this is to protect people, so I guess one would need patience, with that aspect. Nice video.
Khat😮
Go to SSC Somalia in the North
Kkkkkk
Ale, man, I just can’t tell you what a fantastic job you’re doing! I think that one dude was right on the money, America is dangerous, as dangerous as the worst countries in the world! You’re showing the real deal in every film you make! Beautifully edited and filmed with an amazing eye.
Cheers from Canada
Wow thank you so much! 🇨🇦 Glad you’re enjoying the videos and indeed these days many countries in the West are challenging too, hope the situation improves in the future! 🙏🏼
i cant imagine the smell in that fish market 🤣🤣
That is true it’s really bad, but things will develop insha Allah.
Long live Somalia
Idont like how u just choose the bad side of my country somalia is like any other African country😢
Have you watched the entire video? Because if you did, you’d know I said a lot of positive things about Mogadishu and interviewed many people to have more perspectives. Let me know what you think once you watch it all 🙏🏼
Somalis bring their habits from back home to the US
Come back many times like Gus thego😊
I'm interested but can I visit it without the police?
Depending on where. My local fixer was more conservative and suggested the extra people but I'm sure there are ways probably without if you have some local friends there. Good luck.
It is safe. Give it a try 🤣
Ey ey dhale weye melaha bila bilicda ah bu so duubay

Kkkkkkk
Why don't you draw the most beautiful places in the country?.
I wouldn’t want to go to Somalia as it’s still not very stable, but I am optimistic someday hopefully it will become stable once again.
African countries in particular have a bad record of trying to stabilize
You won't I would
bro visit puntland in somalia
Will try!
Man, your content is top-notch, but your guide lacks objectivity in interpretations. It feels like he strongly supports the sitting president, Hassan Sheikh, to the extent that he exaggerates whenever anyone mentions security/peace. The guide often add words to support President So-and-So that none of the interviewees actually mentioned. And thank u for visiting my country🙏
Thank you for the kind words and adding more colour as it’s constructive feedback 🙏🏼
@@AleSalvino Always.🙏 In Somalia, we have often been troubled by content creators who focus on the negative aspects. No country is entirely positive, but we have been mistakenly portrayed in a negative light. I'm not saying we're perfect, but we warmly welcome anyone who shares a positive outlook like you. Once again, welcome, and If you're still in Somalia, you can also explore other cities like Kismayo, Garowe, and Bosaso. Somalia is truly recovering from the horrors we endured for over two decades. 5years ago some of the places you have been to were even unable for the locals to vist, but now we're seeing a lot of positivity on the horizon. I expect you Urge your fellow content creatos to come and explore Somalia’s beauty . I wish Somalia a full peace and the rest of the world at large. Gracias
